Collector types What type of collector are you when it comes to porn? Are you browsing for themes, niches, individual models or anything else? How do organise your collection? | |

Definitely niche for me. Anything taking the lady concerned from fully clothed to naked. Collection organisation is based per site (source) & then model name. Cap'n. I organize first by site and then by model name. I also have a special folder for content from sites that have closed. I went through my entire collection early last year and identified a surprising number of them. I keep that stuff separate because it's irreplaceable, and keeping it separate ensures that I will not delete it. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

Sites go in a folder, favorite scenes and/or niches are footnoted with various symbols and abbreviations. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

Model-based... and now that a tera-byte is peanuts, I download more than I can watch - just in order to collect it :S Not sure if I'm allowed to post the link, but I'm using EazyFlixPix. It generates thumbnails and I tag the file based on whatever I like (model, genre, fetish). Browsing porn has never been that easy :D | |

I tend to focus on niche, though define my favourite niches fairly broadly and have a lot of interests. I will also join a site if it gives me access to a specific model that I like. | |

I tend to sort by site first. Within sites, I use a third-party file manager to assign tags to files based on various criteria - dividing by solo/FF/MF/Group, highlighting favorites, etc. I also tag files for various actions, such as a movie that I want to split into several different clips or cut out certain content, or a series of clips to be merged into a single movie. Image sets usually just stay in the folders generated from their archives and are grouped by site. | |

I'm mainly a picture guy and my way of organizing my picture collection is a bit on on the autistic/OCD side. I usually join a site, download all the zips and begin the painstaking task of sorting through them all. I then go through them and delete all the unwanted pics, then I separate and rename all the photos in respective categories: babes (frontal shots), ass, pussy, panties, tits, toys, sex, blowjobs, cumshots. This takes an awfully long time but is worth it in the end because I wind up with a jumbled up picture collection of the whole site and don't have to see the same model 90+ times before I scan to the next one, every click of the mouse brings a new model. This is why I only join 1-2 sites a year, my process of organizing is agonizing and takes up A SHIT TON of time. Any porn aficionado would covet my picture collection  . I organize by having folders for Studios, Videos and Pictures. Studios naturally include studios, Videos include 3 folders which tell the definition what definition movies the folder has (High Definition, Standard..) and Pictures include folders for Pornstars, Wallpapers, DVD covers and Studio stuff like gifs and ads. It's nothing more but a true porn connoiseurs collection. | |
