In the '40s, vagina images were as rare as a good hair day for Donald Trump; Enter 2011 As a lad, (during the early '40s) the only way one would get even a hint of what a pussy looked like was perhaps a fleetingly, fortuitous glimpse of a woman undressing, or luckily sharing sights of French playing cards depicting grainy nude images of strange ladies in provoctive poses. At a dating age we guys were very lucky if we managed to just get our hand around a tit. I often wonder (what if) those earlier years could be transposed to our present day -- wherein sexual mores are relaxed and those lost, intimate images are now an electronic glut, coming to us in wide-screen closeup, High def, and in living color. My God! Can you imagine -- like opening the doors, for free consummation, to all the ice cream and candy stores in town. If then was now, bringing along my hyper-age of youth, I suppose my body would shrink to nothing but skin and bones from none-stop partaking of ejaculations. But it's feast or famine. I'm exposed to, and seek out so much of what was once taboo that I'm now sometimes actually jaded -- and don't laugh, at my age its rapidly setting in. But what with the perils of our current economic woes, so much hatred and division among nations, and the advent of weapons of mass distruction.....I'd have to think some about being better off or not.  | |

Likewise good to see you both still around. Am mostly agreeing with what you say. I'll take the present day though, I'd rather have too much than too little. I have a number of interests outside porn, and different interests inside porn, so I rarely get jaded. If I do, it only takes a few days break, then it all looks remarkably good again. Don't laugh, squirrel, but wanna know what I do .. I go to written erotica for a few days, that helps as well. Of course, I too have outside interests. I am happily married and my partner would be very upset if all my attention were on Porn! Hi graymane, it's nice to be missed if one's contributions dwindle a bit. Here's the reason, we went through a very quiet period when I thought the forum might be dying a slow death and was asking myself if I was not guilty of contributing to that because I was overwhelming everyone with my daily flood of posts. So I sat out a few days to see if things would pick up once my presence was less obvious. When it didn't seem to make any difference I started up again. I do wish though that someone else would take over the top spot in posting. I am not very comfortable there.  | |

I'm not sure if this is on-topic or not, but I recall reading something a few years back that is sort of related. The point of the article was about how our culture causes women to see themselves, and one of the points made was to compare how many naked women your great-grandfather saw compared to how many naked women you saw given the sexualization of our culture and the explosion of porn on the internet. The luckiest of great-grandfathers maybe saw two or three naked women (one real, two in pictures). I've had the pleasure of seeing thousands and thosands of naked women. Perhaps I was luckier as a lad. In the early 60's I had the opportunity to enjoy 5 straight hours of "burlesque" on weekdays for one admission charge at the long defunct Gayety Theatre in "The Block" in Baltimore. Local ordinance required that all strippers were required to keep their panties on throughout the performance. So the babes would wrap their panties around their leg and let us enjoy the "hole" show, as they called it. Afterward the Oasis Cabaret was where one could get a dancer to "talk" and would encourage patrons who bought them a "champagne cocktail" to learn their anatomy lessons by the braille method. "Total Nudes' was the code word used in the book stores to buy packs of photos of babes showing off their snatches. At $5 a pack, they were damned expensive, but very enjoyable stuff. Interesting comparison. The early 40's were passing out of a worse economic woe, far more hatred across the world, and the invention and use of weapons of mass destruction. As bad as things seem today, we're still much better off today. | |

Well guys, graymane and messmer.....I'm not there yet - only now close to 60. But I sure get the drift - and in my youth porn was not porn, but those girlie magazines, those playing cards with half nekkid milfs - though nobody knew that word, milfs, back then - and the dreams of ladies' hips and tits - and restless sleep. I was a teenager in the 1960's as well. In 1968 I went to New Orleans with a few friends. Even then it was known as somewhat of a sin city. We went to a burlesque house, where a woman with huge breasts stripped to topless. I had wet dreams for weeks. When the customers there asked for more she shouted back that she did not want to get arrested. I also saw those books that you called "Total Nudes". I was working for only $1.60 an hour as a messenger in Manhattan, so I could not afford any.
