Girlfriends Films without DRM and Without VOD....Downloadable I'm looking for a site that will include some extremely specific content that is downloadable, with no DRM. An example of this TYPE of site would be Videobox, but I want a site that includes content from the studio named "Girlfriends Films". That studio has VOD, but I'm not interested in that. They've got the goods, and demand top dollar. It sucks. Compared to Abby Winters (which I'm burnt out on) this stuff is total junk.....but at least an actual effort at plot and dialog and passion and acting is made. Incredibly, incredibly rare. Back in the day, there were lots of "story" movies with a plot, but those sucked donkey balls so intensely bad. The writing sucked, the acting sucked, the dialog sucked. There are thousands of phone sex actresses. Someone needs to blend the feeling and dialog of phone sex with live sex in porn. I just want a blast of some AUTHENTIC FEELING. The best route with Girlfriends video is to say Fuck You to their VOD. Just join a physical-DVD Netflix style porn rental place and then get some software like CloneDVD and AnyDVD software. | |

I discovered Girlfriends Films a couple of years ago and they are one of my biggest porn expense per year since I buy a couple of their dvd's each month. I'm disapointed sometimes in my purchase because there is no chemistry between the performers but that's fine because when there is then the scene is amazing. Add the fact that they are one of the few studios still making actual scenes that use some kind of story with pre sex dialogue, proper clothing, foreplay(with lots of kissing) and the sex. I don't know if there is a site similar to netflix that carries Girlfriend Films but even if such a place exist then I would still recommend that you avoid going the route of copying rented dvd's. It's a numbers game. If you and I don't pay for it then they won't make it or they will make it but for less money to retain their profit and the quality will suffer. Eitheir way the end result will be the same that we will stop watching their movies. I'd love to be able to pay less for their dvd's but this is a studio that delivers on quality and that's rare in todays porn market. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I have to say the 5 Girlfriends movies I own, I love, mainly cause they feature Georgia Jones, Allie Haze and Prinzzess, all who act great (well they do in my eyes) and look amazing. I would love it if they opened their own site were you could join and see all their material, that would be great. But yeah I guess they have loads of dud movies that are not up to much, they do some great lesbian stuff though and I will buy more when I see an unmissable title. I don't think you'll see a Girlfriend site where you can get all their content for one membership anytime soon. They are one of the few studios that still produces new movies every month. They need the revenue generated by dvd sales and VOD to keep making such great movies. They make duds like any other studio but I'd say that they have a better quality to crappy ratio than most studios. Any site that would allow someone to download all their content for one fee would almost guarantee their death or at the very least the end of quality lesbian porn. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I think the VOD site from Girlfriends Films is just the same as Hotmovies.com. In fact, I can log in to Girlfriends Films VOD site with my Hotmovies account. I don't think you will be able to find any new content there... | |

Yeah you are no doubt right with this statement, they never will or they would of done it years ago (had their own site). I know it won't ever happen but there is companies like Devils and Evil Angel that sell DVDs and still have their sites and Videoz.com must make money, also Sapphic Erotica must too make money, the examples are a bit different I know but there would be money to be made in memberships and still sell better HD quality for the DVDs or Blueray with their movies. Also I noticed Sweatheart Films have a site called Club Sapphic too as well as doing DVDs, Maybe girlfriends Films could do similar but still that said I doubt they need to or they would be doing it and must be making enough out of what they do now as they are still producing every month. I would tend to think though most people who buy DVDs will still buy them even though there is a website, lots of collectors of these films love having the actual DVD and if they were of much higher quality, blueray HD then there would still be the market to do both I would think. There may come a day when the studio will be as large as Evil Angel and can afford to offer their content both on the net and on DVD but that's not for anytime soon. Let me know what you like about lesbian videos and this way I'll have a better idea of which dvd will best meet your interrest. Hi Pat Oh right, are all there movies there? are they, I might try it, my only concern would be my internet connection speed I guess, lots of things I've tried to watch streamed like BBC iplayer do tend to have lots of buffering moments which gets annoying, we live in an area in the UK with snail broadband speeds, they keep saying we will be getting an upgrade to your phone exchange butgod knows when. Anyway cheers for the tip, its maybe worth trying though as I see they have a 10 mins free trial. I guess its better than buying the dvd if it works as you can pick the scenes you like. I know you never own them but to be honest I rarely watch much porn twice and if it was a great scene I could buy it. I also have just seen they offer a download for 7 days option, like renting which maybe would solve my slow internet connection problem but they are more expensive of course. ^I've had some issues in the last couple of months with Hot movies streaming content. It streams fine but the video tends to stop working if you try to skip ahead. Hi again, just thought I'd come on here again and post what I've just heard, could be a rumor that isn't true but I hope it is true. Girlfriends Films are planning a membership site, someone emailed Dan at the company and his reply was that they are planning one and will reveal more when they are close to its completion. Hopefully it will happen, I for sure will be joining if its DRM free downloads as streaming VOD sadly don't work with my slow internet connection, tried some free minutes on a couple of sites here mentioned and all I got was buffering sadly. Well it appears that girlfriend films will have a genuine site in the very near future. They are joining abbywinters create their very own lesbian site. From what I've read. They will incorportae what they currently have on their existing site into the new site. Their will be streaming videos and they will also allow download of certain videos(that one wasn't too clear). They seem to be implying that soem videos will be only fo the site and others will be for DVD but again that was not too clear. You can Expect something before the end of the summer at the latest. I'm a huge fan of Girlfriends Films and I hope they do a good job because I would hate if they waste a lot of moeny and alienate their existing fan base with a bad business move.
