Porn for Women

Does anyone have any experience with sites that focus on porn for women?

I recently reviewed Sssh and did not care for it very much.
There are sites that feature lesbian porn, but what about content for straight women?

Are there any that are recommended?

I'm not sure if this would count as Corbin Fisher has a co-ed site which features their male models having sex with young women. The co-ed videos do focus on the young men instead of just the women.

It should be noted the bi-sexual/three way content on the co-ed part of the site is boy/boy/girl and features boy/boy contact.

They used to have it where one could become a member of the co-ed content alone but have since changed it so one becomes a member to the entire site and has access to the co-ed content.

https://corbinfisher.com/tour/

They have a deal going on right now but have raised their price from $28 a month to $35 a month (including downloads). "Dogs think people are Gods. Cats don't as they know better." - Kedi (2016)

This is very interesting because you're tapping into the whole problematic regarding women and porn and how very few sites exist. As a woman, I've thought about this a lot.

Ultimately, porn is for men. It is catered and produced for men. The models, the shots, the direction, the lighting etc is all catered around the male gaze and their desire. From the most softcare stuff (MetArt) to the more aggressive stuff (Facials, bukkake, etc), is all about making the man orgasm. It's interesting because it's pretty much the sole medium that is 100% there for men. Women aren't taken into consideration and you can especially see this when it comes to the more aggressive side of porn where a lot of it can border on sexual violence.

To build on this, porn is also not in the language of women. Women don't talk about porn as frequently as women do. Think about it in term of puberty - when men hit puberty, magic happens in their body and suddenly they discover the amazing ability to masturbate. When women hit puberty, their bodies change drastically and something intrinsically and internally violent happens to them - mensturation. Mensturation is a woman's first encounter with their body and the consequences of having a female body (pregnancy etc). Sexual pleasure, from masturbation to penetrative sex, is an after thought or something hardly considered and in some circles, say religious, actively discouraged. This discouragement is pervasive and is twisted to conform to societal norms where women who enjoy sex are transformed sluts/whores. Moreover, the lack investment in women's health enforces these issues - if a woman isn't taught anything about her own body, how is she meant to explore it?

So when does porn come in for women? In college when their allowed to question and explore about sex means to them? Later in high school? It comes are a distinctively later age than men, men who have probably already watched porn. There is a massive dichotomy in experience here and this is predominantly why porn for women is hard to find - women are culturally not exposed and not taught how to discuss porn and sexuality. Without this knowledge, where are you to begin? Especially when all you know about porn is the porn centred around a man's pleasure? This is furthermore compounded by a woman's body politic - mensturation, societal stigma etc.

Of course this has changed a lot in the last decade due to people becoming more comfortable talking about sex in public, especially amongst the younger generations who have been more open to sexual trends. Also the rise of 5th feminism has played an important role in this sexual renaissance. However, women still aren't comfortable talking about porn. If they do watch porn, it's probably lesbian porn due to the fact it isn't aggressive and it's pretty softcore (the majority of women also don't cum on penetrative porn so watching women stimulate their clits is more appleaing). Tumblr was once a refuge and easy introduction into porn but now that's gone. There are some porn companies that specialise in "love-making" porn where they film real couples having sex and that is pretty successful in the female market. Additionally, women are more stimulated by sounds and yet there isn't really anything in that market.

But why should porn companies invest in this market when they have a very large and willing market segment who will forever spend? Could women become better customer? Sure, but that means reversing centuries of sexual stigma against women. That would mean investing in women's health and deconstructing language ecosystems focused on shaming women. That's a large undertaking for anyone and it won't be porn companies who will spearhead the massive social and systemic change.

Anyway, this is all to say that porn for women is hard to find due to the complicated politics of a woman body, the lack of linguistic infrastructure to accomadate how women discuss porn, societal stigma towards women and sexuality and the fundamnetal fact that there are very few options for women centric porn.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

I'd like to think that I understand how women think and that's why I would have written something similar to what Freddie wrote but it would not have been as eloquent or informative as her post is.

That said. There may be a yet to be discovered market of porn targeted at women but as Freddie said. Who has the language necessary to create something that will entice and excite women to watch it? I certainly don't know of anyone past or present but I suspect that whatever it will be. Few men will want to watch it with their significant other. Long live the Brown Coats.

Debatable.

Here is an article from 2017 that says women watch more porn than men.
It's based on 10 years of data from Pornhub.

Bustle
Women Actually Watch More Porn Than Men — Here's What It Is We're Watching
By Lea Rose Emery
June 12 2017
Ashley Batz/Bustle

Women watch porn. Alright? We watch it. And some of us watch a lot of it. In fact, recent research has shown that women watch more porn than men do— at least when length is considered. Pornhub and their Pornhub Insights have long broken down interesting facts and trends about all things porn. But now we have ten years of Pornhub data at our fingertips and looking at the information as a whole provides a whole new understanding. One things that the research found, according to The Cut, is that women, on average, spend 1:14 more minutes a day on the site than male viewers. Which means you're more likely to walk in on one of us flicking the bean than a guy doing... well, whatever it is they do to socks.

Anything that opens us up to discussing women and porn is a huge step forward. Because so many of us do it, but not enough of us talk about it. In fact, a Marie Claire survey found that almost a third of women watched porn every week and nearly 10 percent watch it every day. So it's great to have the conversation and fight the taboo head on.

Here are some other interesting tidbits the data found, because women are into some pretty kinky sh*t:

The most popular category for women? Lesbians. Straight, gay, or bi — women love women. Interestingly within lesbians searches, women were more likely to search for squirting and strap-ons than men were.
37 Percent Of Gay Male Porn Viewers Are Women

That's right, women love themselves some gay porn — it's the second most popular category for women overall. In fact, it was actually the most popular category when for women over 45. Try looking your mother in the eye now.
Some Women Really Like Rough Sex
Giphy

There were some big changes in what women were searching for between 2014 and 2015. Men performing cunnilingus skyrocketed by over 500 percent, but so did "f*cked hard and screaming". Romantic sex, meanwhile, only grew by 125 percent.
There's A Valentine's Day Drop
Giphy

After 6 p.m. on the big V-day, porn searches drop by 17 percent — but more so for women than men. Interestingly, men also show bigger jumps in searches for "love" and "passionate" than women do on Valentine's Day.
Women Are More Likely To Look For For Pregnancy Porn

They're actually 27 percent more likely to look for pregnancy porn and it's most popular in the 25 to 34 age range. It may be that women going through it are the ones most likely to want to watch. I guess it speaks to them.
Women Get Political
Giphy

The Women's March apparently caused a 20 percent drop in Pornhub traffic to New York, D.C., and L.A.. Interestingly, the drop was in both men and female viewers. Don't worry though, everyone logged back on at 8 pm.

Women are 16 percent more likely to watch porn on their phones. In fact, we don't like sitting still— we're 34 percent less likely to use our desktops than men are.

As you can see, women and porn go together like — well, women and porn. Ten years of research proves it: we love it and we're not slowing down.

The problem I have with "for women" sites is they are not for women. The porn industry heard women look for intimacy. They decided intimacy means soft kisses, spooning and lacy curtains blowing in the wind. The scenes themselves have not changed.

Sex Art makes a "love making" scene with a naked woman and naked man having sex. There is hugging, kissing, oral, missionary, possibly even anal and a cumshot.

Brazzers makes a "hardcore" scene with a naked woman and naked man having sex. There is oral, missionary, doggy, anal and a cumshot.

Both are filmed from the voyeuristic perspective.

There is nothing intimate about voyeurism. The sites filming scenes to appeal to females fail before the scene starts.

The reason I think women do not talk about porn is there is no porn made for straight women. Maybe a straight woman is willing to watch lesbian porn or gay men porn, but are they going to be willing to tell others they watch lesbian or gay men porn? Women watch gay men porn because it has men masturbating in it.

When you look at the differences between straight male options and straight female options it raises an important question.

If you put the shoe on the other foot it makes more sense. Women search for lesbians and gay men. If porn was aimed at women and men just had the porn aimed at women or aimed at LGBT would men's top two searches be "gay men" and "lesbians"? If it was would straight men talk about watching gay men porn?

In my mind, porn for women would be something like solo women for men. There would be a masculine man. He would say he saw the viewer at the store. He would then masturbate and say it is what he did after he saw her.

It wouldn't require the whole industry to change. If intimacy is what straight women want it would take the solo man site to do that. You are never going to feel intimacy for yourself through watching two strangers have sex.

It wouldn't be intended for women to watch with their husbands. It would be for her pleasure.

There are over 1,000 websites with solo models for men. There are 0 for women.

My belief is they don't think it will work because women will be worried their boyfriend or spouse would be upset with her for watching just a naked man masturbate. He would also be jealous. What man would be mad if his wife or girlfriend wanted to watch two hot college girls in a 69? The United States now believes women are okay with their husbands watching porn. She watches it with him to get the intimacy from him.

There is too much belief in the facade generation. Those that deny their nature and natural instincts to be like everyone else. Women will say in private, "He does not look at me like he does the porn models." Nothing has changed there. We are still -- as women -- naturally insecure and jealous.

If the porn industry does add solo straight men porn it will just be another problem for marriages, but because we continue to press for equality, it is easier to add solo men sites to make it fair, than it is to take away solo women sites for men.

We give too much credit to the way our society has adapted and forget we are much better at lying than adapting.

Human nature will never change. Only laws will restrict it, fears will repress it and the need to be a part of a group will put a facade over it.

The percentage of women watching porn has absolutely risen this decade, but in no way can women be watching more porn then men. It's just not possible.

Granted, I am basing this on anecdotal evidence along with our little sliver of the porn world, but even with the sites I speak with regularly, and they include Brazzers, RK, Blacked...you know the sites...NONE of them have female-majority membership bases. Even if you take into account the possibility of fake names, using BFs/Hubby's credit card, there's not enough women lying about this info simply to get a porn membership.

And the article references when length of scene is considered; that simply means they're watching scenes longer than men. Which makes sense. It's not uncommon for men to stop a scene and jump to something else, along with watching multiple scenes at once.

I agree strongly with Freddie's asssesment, but I can also tell you that many of the sites (some of which are owned and operated by women) WANT to know more about how to bring women into the fold. They're the untapped market.

Men ARE visual. It is about the gaze (for the most part), so it's simply easier to provide content that triggers their imagination. This is a gross generalization, mind you, but the things that can stimulate a woman sexually are not things that can be easily displayed on a screen. You know how many women masturbate and are not actually fantasizing about anything or anyone in particular? How do you sell porn, a mostly visual medium, to that market?

And we are seeing the growing impact of women viewers on the industry; the increase of story and narrative-driven sites and scenes I believe is a result of more women watching.

"For Women" porn has always been a contentious debate in our office for many of the points expressed in this thread. It suggests that women wouldn't like rough content (which we all know is patently untrue - Kink.com has a higher than average % of female members). And Bree Mills work on Pure Taboo should be proof enough that women can have a mind every bit as dirty as a man. "For Women," to me, is a rather vague, abstract concept meant to slot sites that aren't agreesively male or presumed to not appeal to men. Even the very notion of "For Women" suggests everything not in that is "For Men?" Doesn't add up. Edited on Jul 24, 2019, 01:07pm

"In my mind, porn for women would be something like solo women for men. There would be a masculine man. He would say he saw the viewer at the store. He would then masturbate and say it is what he did after he saw her."

The only people who'd be interested in watching that are gay men! Women don't want to watch men masturbate. BORING! I don't know how many times my girlfriends have complained about dick pics - so the idea of women wanting to focus on the guy in the scene doesn't really jive with me.

You know what my problem is with Porn for Women? It says that the only thing that turns me on is sensual, slow lovemaking, as most sites in that category are glamcore sites, which do have merit. The quality is often higher and the lighting is better and the girl might actually have an orgasm and you can see her having an orgasm. Whaa?? Yes, but hey, I think women are probably having orgasms while in a 10-guy gangbang with DPs and all that jazz... You might not see it and they might not focus on it in the scene, but I'm sure those girls are cumming hard. You know why? Because THEY LIKE IT!

I don't think we give women enough credit for being able to be as horny, dirty and nasty as men are. I know a lot of women who like watching porn and have no problem talking about how much they like it, either.

There are many types of porn, just like there are many types of people. And we all have specific tastes and interests and things that turn us on and turn us off. I think women are just as likely to enjoy something their boyfriend does as they are something that's more "for them." For me, the category is a little sexist and just makes women feel more guilty about enjoying all the other For Men categories. It's like everything on the site is for guys and... oh, you're a woman, please come with me, we have a little something for you too. Edited on Jul 24, 2019, 02:58pm

I've had female friends complain about how boring some For Women porn has been. But as a man, I've enjoyed some hardcore that I think could fall into that category.

For me, it was like any other porn but with just much better production values. Yes, it had a bit more a glamcore vibe, but the couples weren't making love, they were just having mutually gratifying rough sex.

And the biggest difference otherwise was that more than just the dicks of the male performers were in the frame. No seemingly headless torsos pounding away in anonymity.

I guess for some people seeing men's faces would ruin the fantasy, but I think it's hotter to watch two fully visible human beings doing it. The chemistry feels real and more intense.

So ladies take heart - if you look long and hard enough, you can find some For Women porn that isn't playing into stereotypes about what turns a girl on.

Did I say something wrong? I'm not for sure what I did to deserve this reply. I thought maybe it had something to do with me talking about human nature. North Americans seem to be offended by human nature talk. It says you can only control so much of your life. Ask some of those gay men you spoke for.

My proposed solo man scene had nothing to do with his dick. It was showing an intimate experience where the straight woman viewer would feel like she is the center of his attention and the object of his desire. If you are a woman that does not like hearing that women like that, it is okay, but we are back to human nature again. It could be a gay man watching a gay man that makes him feel like the center of his attention. It could be a straight woman making a straight man feel like he is the center of her attention. I was creating an emotional and mental attraction. Something most porn does not have. Why you said gay men would be the only ones watching has to be because you believe to see the guy's dick? Which puts gay men backwards by about 35 years.

That is why I felt like I said something that upset you. You were very careless in this reply.

You correlated dick pics with a porn video. I guess because both have a dick in them? I was a member of a dating site last year and received a lot of unsolicited dick pics. I didn't complain about it. The part that makes me wonder is if these friends of yours were complaining about a boyfriend or husband sending them dick pics? If so, it shows how women are now repressing men sexually. It does sound like something a group of female friends would talk about. If it is not a husband or boyfriend, they are the ones that gave him their phone number or added him on social media. Maybe they should spend less time complaining and more time raising their standards?

A dick pic is randomly sent to your phone. It is not close to the same as signing in to a porn site and downloading a video.

You said that women are just as dirty and nasty as men. Yes, men have porn. Women have sex toys. I don't get the point you were making. If a man is masturbating watching a 19 year old girl young enough to be his granddaughter masturbate that probably isn't as nasty as the woman with the 16" double dong dildo stuck up both of her holes. I have heard the sex toy industry makes more money than the porn industry.

As all over the place as your post was. The worst part was when you said women being gangbanged by 10 men orgasm because "They like it". You combined liking something with having an orgasm. Everyday women are raped and experience orgasm during it. See how careless you are? You think they liked it? Or did something physiological, mental, emotional happen like they experienced extreme fear and it brought an orgasm on?

Your post sounds like it came from a man's brain. Edited on Jul 25, 2019, 04:44am

I'm not sure how we went from discussing For Women Porn to rape. I think it should go without saying that for this discussion everything is presumed consensual among all parties.

And to Zoey's point, there absolutely are women who fantasize, want and have had 10-man gangbangs in their lives. And some of them (fortunately for us) have even had it filmed. They

I think Alybator's point about being the center of attention is on the mark...there's a certain X factor that is very, very difficult to pin down in a porn film or on a site. But to Zoey's point (and she is speaking from years of experience here) there have been dozens of sites over the years that have tried to essentially flip the gaze and put the focus on the women and for one reason or another simply don't connect with a larger audience.

My comment was strictly about a woman getting gangbanged in a PORN scene, and how women can experience pleasure in porn from a gangbang scene as much as they can from a glamcore scene. To bring rape into the equation? That is definitely beyond the scope of my response.

It went there because Zoey said, "but I'm sure those girls are cumming hard. You know why? Because THEY LIKE IT!" It had nothing to do with the scenario. She posted something that is not true. Women can orgasm from extreme emotions, fear being a major one, emotional, mental and physiological changes all can cause orgasms. I brought rape in to show a situation where a woman possibly had an orgasm and DID NOT LIKE IT.

My experience comes from 21 years of living in the brutal repression of women in India. I moved to the United States 13 years ago and have been a Sex Therapist for 7 years, a Women's Psychotherapist for 3.

I had been enjoying my time here. I still don't understand why she picked my first post to reply and mock my opinion. She had 2 posts in the previous 4 years. You don't think it made me feel singled out? She disagreed with multiple things Freddie talked about, but didn't reply directly to Freddie. I will let it go.

There was no harm intended, I assure you. She was highlighting a point that I think we can agree on; that most (mainstream) porn is not particularly interested in the pleasure of the woman (fake moaning and animated facial expressions for the camera don't count). It's mostly framed and presented for the man's enjoyment, which looking at the market is totally understandable. I believe as a society, both publicly and privately, we have issues with the notion that a woman would A) WANT to be in such a scenario and B) derive pleasure from it. We have been taught to find that kind of thing vulgar and coarse (which leads into why many men enjoy those things - precisely because society deems it vulgar and coarse. The shame cycle and all that).

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the topic is one that has been had in this office for many, many years (Zoey, Freddie, myself and others who work in other departments)

I am very happy to hear you are enjoying your time on the boards. We all love porn here and I think I speak for everyone reading this that we look forward to your thoughts insights on this and a number of other topics discussed. Your background would illuminate the proceedings.

Yes, I also would like to add that there was no harm intented. And while I agree with you, Alybator, on the point you're trying to make in your last post, it was not the point of my post. What I wrote was in context - a porn context. I am well aware of the sexual trauma women can go through and in no way would I diminish that.

As to mocking or singling you out, that was not my intention. I was just trying to say that the scenario you described is not something I, also as a woman, would be interested in watching. As they say, different strokes for different folks. Edited on Jul 25, 2019, 02:59pm
