Private messages for PU users I think would be very useful to allow users to send private messages to each other. What do you think guys? Don't forget to give me the Trust rating ;) | |

Well there's already the possibility to send mails to other users. To implement something like a PM system costs some $ and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Just my 2 ct. | |

PU already has a private message system where members can send emails to each other. To send a private email: 1. Go the the member's page you want to send a message to (by clicking on the hot link of the member's name). 2. Click the "Email [member's name]" hot link. 3. Fill out the subject heading, the message you want to send, check the "I understand Porn Users Staff has the right to review e-mails for rule enforcement purposes.", and then click the "send email" hot link. | |

An in-forum PM system might be nice for people who don't want unsolicited email from the site in their inbox. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. | |

I think e-mail it's different thing. As for me I don't want to use e-mail for "chatting" and usually don't like to use e-mail. May be I am not alone:) Don't forget to give me the Trust rating ;) | |

I wouldn't mind if we had one here, I'd probably use it. I'd be more likely to message people than I do now. If you ask me we'd need a bigger active community to justify the staff implementing a PM system. Email's will do for now. | |

You are right, if you send an email thru the PU system, it reveals your email address to the person you are sending the email to. | |
