Nubiles Captain (webmaster at Nubiles, I believe) has been suspended. I think this is a mistake or computer error. He has been a source of information on the Nubiles site, with helpful, courteous replies. PU has the ability to suspend members, but sometimes, it appears that members are suspended from computer error. SelenaMetArt (webmaster, or works for MetArt) was suspended previously. She was always a helpful, courteous source of information on the MetArt sites. I'm guessing her suspension was due to computer error, but I never saw any explanation of why she was suspended. PU needs to encourage participation from webmasters, as a source of information for the PU members. That seems obvious. And maybe offer an apology or explanation when they are suspended. There was one webmaster who dis-respected PU members recently, and the PU staff did not suspend him: instead, they offered a defense that he was entitled to his opinions.

I saw an explanation awhile back about it having something to do with the person hadn't signed in or verified their email they signed up with or something like that. I could be wrong but I think the suspended is more like "not active". My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Considering Khan is listed as "suspended", I would also assume that inactivity is the reason. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

When we moved servers, a lot of users were suspended automatically. So yes, it was just a computer error. We can reverse suspension manually if people reach out, though.

In most cases where I'm aware of, a suspension is normally considered a punishment, because of some error or wrong-doing on the the part of the party suspended. But PU does not consider a suspension a punishment, merely a computer classification, which could be considered an computer error. Or not--if suspension means, according to PU, an inactive account. I think a better approach would be to have suspended accounts considered active, instead of suspended. Unless there is a reason for suspension. And if there is a reason for suspension, it would be nice if PU were open enough to inform or give the reason for the suspension. Better and more friendly. PU is trying to open the site to more members, to gain their trust and activity. Suspending a member for in-activity is within the rights of PU. Suspending a member for any reason, or for no reason, is within the rights of PU. But is that the community you are trying to create? Even Khan was suspended, according to RagingBuddhist, probably for inactive membership. A better solution would be to make him an honorary PU member, for services he did for the benefit of the PU site. Yes, he was paid for his services, but he put in long hours trying to make the site better. An honorary PU membership would be an acknowledgement of the time and dedication he gave to the site. Freddie, you talked about ways to make the PU site and community better. I'm suggesting that making Khan an honorary member of the PU site would be a nice gesture. You don't even have to send out a medal. But some people, at least, when they see a member has been suspended, will normally think the suspended member did something wrong, that caused the suspension. SelenaMetArt and Nubiles Captain were both suspended. They were both webmasters who spent time and effort at the PU site discussing reviews and potential problems at their sites, and did a useful service to the PU site and its members. Instead of being suspended, you need to create a system of gold stars (or the equivalent), to show their service has value. Read the replies those two members gave to the PU site, and decide whether the replies had value: were the replies helpful in explaining their sites, were the replies courteous in tone and friendly? Compare that to the replies of the webmaster of Asian Sex Diary, who did not behave in a professional or courteous manner, but attacked personally any PU members who did not praise his sites. Instead of chalking up suspensions to computer error, the tech team needs to change the code to stop suspensions for inactivity, or make a new label/classification that states the member has been inactive recently. Just my random thoughts. Feel free to ignore them. Edited on May 16, 2019, 06:10am

Note: I'm not saying I'm always courteous and helpful. Or professional. I try to help the PU site, to a degree. SelenaMetArt and Nubiles Captain contributed to the PU site with courteous, helpful information about their sites. That professionalism should be respected. Instead of being sloughed off as suspended, because the PU servers make a mistake, and who cares? The easiest and best solution would be to fire your tech team, and get someone who knows how to keep a site running smoothly, without these computer glitches. Or, at least, a reduced number of computer glitches. Then Freddie wouldn't have to keep apologizing for their incompetence, and, instead, spend her time on more worthwhile projects.

So, members are suspended if their email isn't verified or has been bounced and unfortunately that's the case for Khan. I'm really sorry about that - I know how much Khan was a beacon in this community. You guys are keeping his memory alive and it's really quite beautiful. I wish I could've met him. For SelenaMetArt, I just checked on the back end and she isn't suspended, so it should all be good on her end. Unfortunately, regarding any technical changes, as pointed out in our Updat thread, there aren't any in the pipeline. Of course, I'll keep you updated if any of this changes.
