Tom D Admin: mbaya's cut and paste reviews

The last 3 reviews by mbaya seem to be cut and paste.
mbaya complained my review barely said anything about a site.
Let's look at how mbaya writes his reviews:

How much original content is there in the pros and cons of the 3 sites from New Sensations network,
or is it one review, repeated 3 times?

Can you tell me if these reviews meet the requirements for an eligible review?

mbaya
Hot Wife XXX
Pros: -Part of New Sensations Network of 25 Sites
-Decent size archive of 124 videos on the site
-No download limits
-Updates once a week
-Discount through PU
Cons: -There is a prechecked cross sale
-Advertising on member’s pages
-Many scenes were on DVDS first.
-The biller is Epoch, reliable but I don’t like them

mbaya
Stretched Out Snatch
Pros: -Part of New Sensations Network of 25 Sites
-Large archive of 288 videos
-No download limits
-Discount through PU
Cons: -There is a prechecked cross sale
-Mostly remastered videos so the specs say one thing and what you see is of lesser quality.
-Scenes are taken from DVDs. They may not be exclusive.
-Advertising on member’s pages
-Mostly low quality videos
-The biller is Epoch, reliable but I don’t like them.

mbaya
Fresh Outta High School
Pros: -Part of New Sensations Network of 25 Sites
-Large archive of 346 videos
-No download limits
-Works well a couples porn
-Discount through PU
Cons: -There is a prechecked cross sale
-Mostly remastered videos so the specs say one thing and what you see is lesser quality.
-Scenes are taken from DVDs
-Advertising on member’s pages
-No updates from September of 2018
to one scene in February 2020.
-The biller is Epoch, not one of my personal favorites, but reliable.

I belong to a recovery group that works on self improvement. That means if you are focused on someone else, then who is focused on you. Stop complaining about others and start focusing on yourself or you will end up a miserable old fool that only lives to inflict it on others. That is a sad existence my friend. Warning Will Robinson

The problem is that mbaya has questioned the eligibility of several reviews I've written.
That he states or implies that my reviews should be declined.
The reasons for decline can be ambiguous.
The last case, where he says the review has only 2 facts on the site I wrote about, seems to be flawed.
I read what I wrote, and it seems to me to be a review about a site.
mbaya says that's wrong: the review is not about the site, but the network.
And since I wrote a review about the same network 7 months ago, the current review should be rejected.

If he is going to push for my reviews to be rejected on such flimsy grounds, then I need to ask or demand that mbaya be rejected on any and all technicalities that he breaks.

In the current instance, mbaya's last 3 reviews are clear examples of cut and paste.
Which is illegal. It breaks the rules.

So am I complaining? Yes, I am.
I'm complaining that he doesn't like my reviews, and wants them to be rejected.
And the specific reasons he uses for rejection can be flimsy.

He has accused me of fraud, because I changed my alias when I had a problem logging in to PU.
The site (or my computer) would not bring up my account. I don't know what the reason for the problem was.

But mbaya said, that because my alias was new, that I had an unfair advantage about submitting reviews, because the PU server recognized me as a different account, and did not hold me to the 1-year limit about submitting a new re-review of a site.

That wasn't why I asked for a new alias. I clearly explained the PU site was rejecting me from logging in to my account, and that's why I wanted a new alias.

But mbaya said that was fraud.
Because it allowed me to submit re-reviews without the time limit.

In theory, the site explains somewhere that "After 6 months, a fresh re-review can be written to replace the old." In practice, the PU server seems to use a 1-year limit before it will accept a re-review on a site.

I did submit a re-review of a site a few days before the 6 month limit, one time.
Which he pointed out, and stated he was sending an email to Freddie to protest the review.
I think the re-review was maybe 3 or 4 days before the 6-month re-review limit; but because the re-review was submitted under a different alias, the review was accepted by the PU server.

I hadn't realized I was submitting the re-review under the 6-month limit, and publicly posted the review could be rejected, or applied to the next week's raffle, or whatever decision Freddie made.

But Freddie accepted the review as it was.

Sorry for the minor details.

But if mbaya is going to complain to PU staff and demand that my reviews follow rules that he seems to make up in his head, then I need to complain and demand that he follow every rule exactly, or be rejected as well.

Do I like complaining? No.
But I am getting hit by complaints about my reviews, saying they are illegal and should be rejected.
So what should I do?
Thank mbaya for his complaints, some of which I think are ridiculous.

No, thank you, mbaya. No thanks.

And that is up to the admin, not you. If you don't like complaining, stop. Warning Will Robinson

The PU staff runs the site.
True.
But if mbaya complains about my reviews, I don't have the right to defend myself?
I'm supposed to take it and say nothing?
Let's put it another way:
I'm not complaining when I see mbaya breaking the rules:
I'm helping the PU site enforce the rules:
which makes for a better site.

mbaya went through channels. You bypassed them and went public instead of dealing with your complaint through the Admins. That is childish and immature. You're not helping anybody and that includes yourself. Warning Will Robinson

I also let it drop when the decision was made by management.

You can be sure that management is reading all the posts here and may have opinions about how members handle themselves too.

biker, I disagree.

mbaya posted a public reply to my review, stating it was not a review of a site, but of the network it belongs to.
And that I previously submitted a review on that site less than a year earlier.

So, that's going through channels?
And keeping it private, when it's a public comment on my review?

Why am I being childish, when I publicly post that I disagree with mbaya?

He publicly posts replies to my reviews, stating they are faulty.
And he sometimes publicly posts in those replies that he is informing the PU staff about his criticism, in a private email to the PU staff.
Or else he asks the PU staff their opinion about my review, in his public reply.

So how is he being adult, while I am being childish?

I'm being childish by exposing my thoughts on a PU thread?
And mbaya is an adult, because he uses public comments to report that my reviews should be denied?

mbaya says he lets it drop when the PU admin makes a decision.
Except he keeps coming up with reasons why newer reviews should be denied.

So, it's not a one-time event. Or a two-time event. He's a adult who likes to jab me whenever he feels like it.

You don't believe criticism is helpful.
Who started the criticism?
mbaya.
And he keeps doing it.

So that's an adult?
Who keeps it private, by using public replies that my reviews are faulty, and states that he is asking for the PU staff to study my reviews, to see if they should be denied.

I will agree with you (biker) that these disagreements are not constructive.
I wish they never happened.
If I make a mistake in a review, I try to correct or improve it.
But I don't believe mbaya is helping me, or the PU site, by his criticisms of my reviews.

While I don't think the posts are helpful to the PU site, or community, I would rather they were not deleted.
Because I believe they establish a record of the debate between mbaya and myself.
Which is a fairer, better record than a self-serving remark that mbaya is an adult who behaves like a gentleman.

End of story (until mbaya starts another complaint).

You know the old saying about academia: The battles in academia are so fierce because the stakes are so small? Same thing here.

I don't like seeing the forums turn into a site for flame wars and airing of private grievances. "A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself."

I have always been more into the reviews side of PU than being active on the forum. So I may not remember, but I don't recall ever seeing a thread or multiple threads with the sole purpose of member to member friction.

I do remember sometimes seeing friction of course, and also remember threads about obnoxious webmasters.

Member to member? We at PU have always prided ourselves on a level of civility that is rare.

Tom?

LKLK brought it here and I tried to tell him how foolish it is, but he won't listen so I'm leaving him to his self-righteous behavior. He can wallow in it. Warning Will Robinson

For me, I made it clear that I had the final word on what gets approved or what doesn't get approved. PERIOD!

You're free to make constructive comments about what you might like to see added to someone else's review.

But accusations and overly negative comments - however, strongly held your convictions may be - are best left unsaid.

If you need some perspective to keep yourself in check, read the news - it generally gives helps me realize what counts.

Porn sites reviews are not life and death - and that's coming from someone whose earning a living because of them.

Please be kind to one another and let this matter drop because it isn't going anywhere - for me the subject is closed. Hello, I'm Tom, your PU admin today. Would you like to hear about our specials?
