Fire up the ornithopters Dune: Part Two will begin shooting in July 2022, producer confirms I was disappointed when watching Dune Part 0ne. I thought the movie ended abruptly. I knew, beforehand, that the movie was only 1/2 of the book. But still, I was left hanging, waiting for more. I've read that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". But still, why didn't the movie stop at step 2, instead of moving to step 1/2 way? So I was disappointed with Dune Part One, and am more than willing to wait to see Dune Part Two, which will probably come out late 2022 or sometime in 2023. I might even wait to watch it on cable TV. I did not think the movie was worth all the hype, after seeing it in a movie theater. | |

It was bitter sweet news when they announced that they were shooting a new Dune movie because it was only part one and while I am thrilled that they will shoot part two. Sadly we won't see part two until late 2023 or likely 2024 and worse is that we may not even see the extended version of part one until then or later. An extended 3hr or longer version of part one would go a long way in helping us wait for part two. Long live the Brown Coats. | |
