Hmm which one. Teen Dreams , Or 1 By Day ? Hi Guys, I have read the reviews and can't make a choice. I plan on joining something Wed this week, Teen Dreams , Or 1 By Day, there are both close and the reviews are not cutting it. I need some pro-advice from those that have joined. I have joined sites in the past like Twistys, and Mac and Bumble, and few others that are like these. I would like some high quality video as basis. Or anyone know a better site ? I'll try to throw together a few comparisons, I actually have a membership to Teen Dreams right now, so that should help. Both sites have been around for a long time. 1byday is saying 10 years, Teen Dreams has a few sets here and there that say they were shot in the 90s. So you're getting a huge archive with both sites. 1byday has often had its claim to fame as its exclusivity. But if you've been to any of Denys other sites, Hot Legs and Feet, DDF Busty, etc...there is shared content. The exclusive tag means exclusive to their family of sites. But, as others, especially Drooler, Pink Panther and probably Denner could tell you, the ATK sites have 1byday content, so it definitely isn't as strong to its exclusive claims anymore. Teen Dreams is going to remind you of Twistys in a way. You're going to see some sets on Teen Dreams that Twistys has, but TD pictures are generally larger in resolution than Twistys are. Teen Dreams does have some exclusive content and also will have a good amount of models you won't see anywhere else. That can be hit or miss since the nature of amateur porn means some of the girls are just plain Jane. Newer 1byday videos, probably the last 2 years or so are better quality than anything on Teen Dreams. The newer content on 1byday has 1280 high end option. Teen Dreams pictures are slightly better quality than 1byday. Both sites are heavy on the Euro models. Eve, Sophie, Sandra Shine, Anetta Keys and newer ones like Cindy Hope, Black Angelica. Both have a few American models thrown in. 1byday has around 5-6 exclusive sets of Aria Giovanni, and those are, if I'm not mistaken her newest sets on the internet. Though she still isn't masturbating. Teen Dreams has a few like Georgia Jones and several amateur girls from the States. 1byday does have much better options on the videos. At least the ones over the last few years. They have multiple formats and multiple resolutions. Teen Dreams has almost no options, you get the highest quality version they have. Both sites have navigation issues. Though I just go on Teen Dreams and scroll through the pages of models. I think it lists 9 per page and it has a good sized picture of each model. 1byday's newer sets have the same model list, but when you go into the archive at 1byday, you better know who you're look for or you're going to spend hours literally trying to find the ones you want. On the bright side for TD, when you find a model you like, click her page, set DownThemAll to filter archived files (zip, rar) and movie files (wmv, avi) and it will download everything they have of the model. I find Teen Dreams to be faster. 1byday has some speed issues that come up, especially if you are online after midnight EST. The last differences, the price, you can get TD for about 1/2 the price of 1byday and TD has 6 updates per day M-F, while 1byday just has 1 update per day. 1byday does have a weekly update from the site ALS Scan, that is usually as good or better than the 1byday updates, but the pull one every Sunday and release a 20-40 picture "jokes" or bloopers set as a full update. TD gives you full access to download Viv Thomas videos, they are lesser quality than what you get from Viv's site, but for "bonus" content, I would call it the best bonus content on the internet. I think at one time, there was so many TD members downloading the Viv content that he pulled the plug and only allowed streaming, but after a week, he returned the download links and now everything is downloadable again. If you've never been to either, then you will really like 1byday, it does wear thin on you after a few months membership though. Teen Dreams gets my money more often because of the 120 updates per month. Hope that helps My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. My suggestion - after you give TD a spin, keep checking 1byDay every once in a while until they have one of their periodic enticing specials, then do a one-month join - OR - if you've never been a member of ALS Scan, try that site for a month if their preview is appealing. Their vids are absolutely fucking fantastic AND they have bonus postings of 1-by-Day material in addition to their usual postings once a week - so you get to check out both sites. 1-by-Day does the same thing, except that the ALS Scan material is posted at 1-by-Day in place of their usual posting of 1-by-Day material, rather than as a bonus posting. | |

Just here to say that exotics' comparison on the videos was spot on. The 1byday videos are really high in quality and exclusive, too. As long as you like the sort of things they do (e.g., the fucking machines), it's worth packing a good stretch of disk space for. Then, stay away from the other DDF sites. Avoid the frustration of duplicated content. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

Thanks. And I was playing along. Lucy is Lucie at FemJoy. Had to do some searching of my records, the FemJoy archive, and then some deductive thinking to make sure of THAT. My personal favorite of her there is called "Caught." She's also been at ALS Scans as Olivia, EroticDestinations as Sandra, at Errotica Archives as Leona, at InTheCrack as Jessica, and at Twistys, DigitalDesire, McNudes, TeenDreams, MetArt, MetModels, and ClubSandy, usually as Lucie or Lucy. I just joined Twistys and I will go on a limb and say that the videos are in a whole are bit disapointing when it comes to the videos. The newer ones as of late, are alright but appear to be a bit on the lower side when it comes to actual quality in the clarity of the videos with the beginning 2009 and lower videos. I am with Cybertoad in being interested with the videos of both of these sites when it comes to VIDEOS. I have been really getting in to sites as of late when it comes to mega sites with exclusive and non exclusive content of models from all around the world in both hardcore and solo content. These two sites seem to get brought up in terms of overall score and I have been prospecting them. Therefore, I am also interested in the quality and clarity of either of these sites as of late and how recent they have been updating their content with good videos. Drooler, thanks for the name of Lucy Stratilova used at Femjoy (Lucie). Because a model can often have more than one name at the same site, and then completely different names at other sites, I've almost given up trying to track the names of models. That makes it kind of hard to find their photos when I want to look at them. Especially with my memory going down the drain as I get older. I'm really waiting for the generation of computers that will let me speak the name of a model and she will appear onscreen. Or better yet, in my bedroom. Hopefully, I will still be around at that time. | |

Was planing a vast comparison and inputs - till I saw exotics4me - that "pretty much" tells it all - and more. Still if you've never been to any of them - start with the less expensive TeenDreams (though the later stuff miss a lot in new videos - but has some exclusive (I think) new photosets. But you have to try them both - again it's the somewhat earlier stuff at 1ByDay that takes the prize - it's gone downhill lately.... BTW, yes: Drooler has changed for sure - great ass - LOL. I first became a blogger in the sports world because the site/forum for sports, I was on had a staff member tell me that my posts were "really good but too long". That was back in the days of email accounts with 500 MB of space limits. I started humor towards myself so that it would let others know how to take my posts. Kind of a, "I don't always take myself very seriously, so you shouldn't you either!" It makes for pretty successful blogging, especially considering how serious sports blogging takes itself. I wanted to get back to this. A few things to remember when talking about clarity. It is very unlikely any of us have the same computer setup, some have more RAM, more advanced video cards, etc... About the only way to talk about the quality because of this difference from user to user is by the technical specs of the videos. As for the pre-2009 content, I could be wrong on this, but I remember the 1280 high end videos coming in around 2007-08. I believe 1byday has the option for 1280 high end videos back to August 2007. This is important because the super sites like Teen Dreams, Twistys, 1byday, Pix and Video all date back to the early 2000s. So the older content, lesser quality is going to be a problem on all of those sites. I did some searching of my hard drives to find old videos from the sites that have been mentioned here in this thread. Here is four of those. 1byday: Eve Angel solo 320x240, 768 bitrate Twistys: Eve Angel w/Puma Black, 480x360, 3629 bitrate Teen Dreams: Eve Angel solo 640x480, 2088 bitrate ATK Galleria: Eve Angel solo 320x240, 518 bitrate These are the earliest videos each site has of Eve. As you can see, Teen Dreams has the best resolution and Twistys has the best bitrate. What happened, 1byday jumped from I think 540 high end to 1280. So most everything before August 2007 is 540 high end or lower. Twistys has improved their quality a lot in the last year, but even before then, most of their videos were 640 high end. Teen Dreams has been the steadiest. I don't think they have more than a few videos over 720 high end, but they don't have many below 640 high end either. What it amounts to is that Teen Dreams has a more balanced resolution on their site. Their videos will range from 640 to 720 high end, where as 1byday ranges from 340 to 1280. Pink Panther mentioned ALS Scan and it is a very good high quality site. Their newer videos are 1920 high end and 5000-6000 bitrates, their older content is 640 high end, so there lowest quality content is still as good as most sites best quality content. I do have one problem with ALS Scan and it may or may not bother the rest of you. They have a sister site, ALS Angels. It is there to separate the models into body frame. I can understand that, but you have been around long enough now to know who Eve Angel is, maybe even Sandra Shine and Andi Valentino. They are on ALS Angels, a site that is supposed to be for "bigger, curvier" models. I really don't know by what standard Eve qualifies as a bigger model. I've always seen the split sites as a way to make more money. If you want all the models you have to join both sites, without discount $55 for both, $45 with discount. The other very high quality site that comes to mind is Give Me Pink, the videos there are 1920 high end, 9000+ bitrates, but they stopped updating in February and now are just pretty much an archive site with 200-225 videos. A note on the Give Me Pink videos and how the setup you have makes all the difference in how good the videos look. One movie file from Give Me Pink is 2 GB. If I put it on my average laptop, it takes 45 seconds to open. Then about 2 minutes into the video it becomes scrambled. If I put the same file on my high end desktop, it is crystal clear. Pretty much what you are running into is the age old porn question of quantity vs. quality. You could look into sites like Babelicious and Xisty. These are newer sites that are very similar to the four listed above. They even have some of the same sets. You will get a higher ratio of high quality videos, but you won't have near the selection to choose from. So far, I found the Twistys videos resolution to be wishy washy. While I have only been a member for about 2 weeks and have downloaded the majority of the 'top rated' models. The highest resolution I have found was 1024. Do not get me wrong, these videos are spectacular and well done in terms of clarity and quality of professionalism. But, when it comes to the 720, 640, and 480: I just found the clarity even with the higher bitrates to be way less clear. However, most of the 720 and 640 res are not completely bad (not bad enough for the average user), I find that getting these new res and quality videos so recent, viewing them, then getting the older ones maybe make me spoiled (plus the plenty of other sites I joined recently with videos at 1280). So of course, as they update more and more the site will only get better and better. But, as of 1 week ago, I basically have been skipping most videos in 2007 and pre 2007 even if I like the model a lot because I've found the videos clarity to be horrible :( As for the information above exotics4me, very well done and informative as usual. That information really does help me and I'm sure the others who were wondering the same thing. This gives me a nice time frame to consider how many and how well done the videos are for these sites. Spam is hard to avoid. Lately I've been getting more than usual. Don't know if there is a reason. Maybe it's because as time goes by, I sign up for more paysites, and my email address gets onto more lists. Or maybe it's just because "they" keep increasing the amounts of spam being sent out. Sometimes, by mistake, I might open a spam email, but I try to delete my spam without opening any of it. | |

There is another possibility, though I'm not tech savvy enough to be sure about it. Last year, a programmer at the corporation that I work under told me when I asked about spam emails, "You really don't want to know what all is seen when you click submit on a non-secure site, and you certainly don't want to know how many people can see it". I mention this because we had a poll awhile back that asked about stolen usernames and passwords and asked if we had ever had that happen. My very low-level understanding is that when you enter your email or username or password over a non-secure connection that is how spam email and stolen passwords and usernames originate. I would wonder if the page on Teen Dreams that asks for an email address, in case your account has problems is secure or not. I wouldn't expect most sites, especially major sites to risk the fines that they could/would face for spamming after the lawsuits Reality Kings and Bang Bros faced. EDIT: I just went by TD to remind myself of how it works and it still has the unsecure signup page where you have to put your desired username/pass and email address before going to the secure billing page. I honestly thought they had removed that since they had so many stolen usernames and passwords, but I guess not. I would suspect email lurkers more than Teen Dreams. TD really should change that signup page as should the other sites that use the unsecure pre-billing page. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. Cybertoad, you say that you are 100% certain that your email address was compromised because you supplied that address to teendreams. Whether it was teendreams itself, people working at the site, or anonymous lurkers, it doesn't really matter: in a real sense, teendreams is at least partly responsible for the spam you are getting. So it does make sense to mention that in your site review, and deduct at least a few points from the site score because of the problems the spam has caused for you. | |

I get spam messages in spurts, but when they come, boy do they come. I have a yahoo email account and it's strange because they all seem to be from other yahoo email accounts. Some weeks I'll get like 5-10 spam messages but then like one week (even in like 1 or 2 days) I'll get like 20-40 messages. I always wondered if it has something to do with joining sites but maybe I just get attacked randomly because I have a free email account. A few years ago I opened a free email account and continue to this day to use it for all porn joins. I am going to copy and paste the inbox numbers. I do not empty spam in it and rarely check it unless to find a membership number. Inbox (12,354) Spam (8,945) Of those 20,000+ emails, I'm guessing that less than 500 are non-spam. Keeping in mind that I've never used it for personal emails or business emails. It is for porn or anything that I think could lead to spam. The majority of them have subjects that refer to sex. You can send them an email at Teen Dreams. Andrea, their webmaster is very responsive or even better yet, try this. Go on their forum and post a thread about spam. Go about it in a non-confrontational way and say you are curious if other members have had a spam problem since joining. And add that you are just interested since you can't figure out where it is coming from. Their community in their forum is pretty civil and helpful. I can't really say if they spammed me since I use the one account for all sites and as you can see by the numbers up there, it would be nearly impossible to know even when the daily number increased. If it maybe has to do with the part where they ask for your email in case of problems, maybe they will go about that differently in the future. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. HEY GUYS: Now this is just weird. UMMMMMM ! They stopped. I mean dead cold stopped. No spam at all . Just went poof. Now whats weird its it stopped yesterday. No more spam at all . Ok which one of you were spamming me, I have a DoubleStripperXK3000 IP Progresser and stabilizer program that will track you SOB's. Ok I got nothin. Nor any idea why it stopped glad it did. Hi GCode. I agree 100%. We work very hard to please our members and have been listening to their feedback. We have a very active forum and it has helped a great deal. We've been running tests on the video sizes our members want to see and believe we have come up with a Low, Medium and High option that pleases them. I'm one of the dissenters that finds Twisty's videos hotter than the photo-sets, because I find the Twisty's photo-sets greatly over-treated (filtered, photo-shopped, whatever) to the point that I often feel like I'm not even getting a chance to see the model through all the photo treatment. The videos don't have that problem - The new one today of Gemma, the Twisty's Treat for the Month was criticized by a number of people in the comments for not being "harder" - eh, so what? is my perspective - for what it is, it's a great vid. | |
