Porn shot on a smartphone? Is that a thing? I know there's plenty of amateur porn out there shot on iPhones, but I'm more curious to know if professional studios are getting in on the trend, trying to do something different. I'd be curious to see what an iPhone porn video, backed by an actual porn STUDIO might be like. You don't understand. A garage. I can't even pull in there. It's like going to a prostitute. I'm not aware of any full scenes but this is a style that Blacked Raw uses in most (if not all) of their videos. The scene setup and even the first part of the sex (usually just oral) is either shot on a smartphone camera or is at least made to look that way. Unfortunately the site doesn't seem to have scene previews available but it might be worth checking out. | |

I don't know if they still do it but the old content on I Know That Girl on the Mofos network had some scenes filmed using a cellphone. They also had the photos of the model taking selfies. I want to say Porn Pros tried something similar too. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I believe some commercial movies (movies that played in movie theaters) have been shot on smart phones. Cheaper to make, plus gives the movie the "auteur" flair, I guess. So, not just porn, but commercial movies as well. | |

With the quality of smartphones these days, you can definitely make some pretty good-looking movies. I don't know if major studios would really want to do that, especially since I'm sure real cameras would still be better and if people are paying, they want the best.
