Sites where your email address ends up in spammers' hands

Ever since the What do you think about sites passing on/selling personal info? thread was started, I've been using email aliases hoping to catch sites that spam.

So far, only two of the one-time aliases have started to receive spam. Both of them are receiving the same kind of spam. It seems pretty well crafted since some of it has managed to creep into my inbox:

Bangbros Network (signed through Epoch) and Reality Kings (signed through Secure Billing Worldwide) are the two sites whose email aliases are being spammed. I regard them as reputable sites so I (naively) doubt they are wholesaling clients' email addresses to textbook spammers. But, since those email aliases are in spammers' hands there has to be some way (website security hole? rogue employees?) my email aliases left those sites.

I wonder if someone else has been using email aliases and has identified other sites where your email address ends up in spammers' hands.

I don't know how many PU members (or the general public) know about alias email addresses. I never heard of them until I read one of the posts here at PU. My way of dealing with spam is simply trying to delete it unopened whenever I see any email that has an unknown sender or porn-like subject or spam-like subject. But I must admit that starting this last week, my spam email has almost doubled, and I have no real idea why.
