Question for PU's porn gurus I'm in over my head on this one, so I'll bounce this question to you guys and girls here at PU. So I have information that a JAV site will be closing in a matter days. Of all their videos, they have 180 pee videos that I plan to download. I downloaded my first 11 today but then ran into a download limit at 6 GB. I want to do everything possible to download those files while I can. Here is my question - do you think opening up a second membership would allow me to double my daily download limit? Or do you think it would potentially cause problems? I would normally just ask support, but I can tell you they are not going to be answering emails in this case. I know it seems excessive, two memberships at one site, but it would definitely be worth it to me. I often download from clip stores at $5-20 per video, so a second $30 membership is not much money for a last chance at many videos. Please let me know what you think. Okay, I tried it, and apparently you can open a second membership as long as you use a different credit card, and it has a separate download limit. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

The only thing I would worry a little about is if you reach the DL limit again, they block your IP address. Some systems are automatic like that. | |

^I'll second Amanda's comment. Mind you since they are closing then I can't see why they would care all that much. Especially since they are getting the same person to pay twice for the same content. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

So far so good. Hitting the download limit multiple times doesn't seem to be a problem, so I think I got lucky. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

Forgive me if I am wrong, because I generally suck at math. However, assuming the ones you already downloaded were representative of the file sizes of all the rest, if you could have downloaded 11 a day, it should have taken only 16 days to download all 180 videos. Anyway, it seems like the second subscription worked for you and it should give you some leeway. Because even though I think that you could have downloaded it all in just over two weeks, I can imagine that it might get annoying to have to keep checking to see when you the download limit block had lifted. Also, you might not have time on certain days to download anything or if you're like me, you might even forget on a hectic one! At any rate, I hope you get/got all those videos that you wanted! | |

You are right about the math. I just don't know exactly how much longer this site will stay online. There is a crackdown underway on uncensored JAV, and the company that produces content for this site just got caught up in it. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

^It's strange that you say a Japanese company was caught with uncensored porn and somehow they are in the wrong. The law may have changed recently but if it hasn't then as far as I know it is quite legal to produce uncensored porn in Japan as long as it's only available outside of the Country. Now this being a website than all they have to do is make sure that no ISP from Japan can access the site and voila no problems anymore. Of course there problem might be something different. ^Owner was arrested for "digital distribution of obscene content" in Japan. Authorities in Japan are paying a lot of attention to JAV companies right now, and people are not getting away with things they have in the past. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

I wrote a longer reply but it got deleted once I clicked to post it - it's a shame this happened, I assumed uncensored JAV sites were okay as long as they didn't operate servers/etc inside Japan, or advertise to Japanese customers specifically...curious as to what happened in this case. It's some kind of a time=out glitch. I've lost posts to the forum before due to this issue. My recommendation, which I have never followed myself - if you have any kind of lengthy post, write it out in a word document. That way if this forum does the time-out glitch, the only time you have really lost is the time to copy and paste it a second time. | |
