Most Viewed Forum Thread Some forum posts bring people to the site. I looked up the posts that have the most views to see what they are about. I hope looking at this list gives us an insight into what makes a useful forum post. As for me, when I see a new post I see it from the perspective of a contributor to the site. These are sites that those outside the small group of regulars has come to the site to read about. Of the 3381 forum threads, only nine have over 100,000 views. 1)The Assault & Rape of Lola Taylor Russian pornstar news story. Views-453,653. 2)Sites Not Listed On "The Best Porn" Views-303,539 Ran as an open thread for seven years, so this is to be expected. 3)OMGYes.com Non porn website that made the news. Views-276,483 4)Can anyone recommend any dirty talking american porn stars Views-231, 178. 5)Upcoming Movie Thread Views-212,642. The only one of these that is high up on the list of most replies. Number two with 1215 replies. We should do another thread like this again. 6)Site similar to x-art or joymii???? Views-162,391. 7)Tawnee Stone RIP - Car Accident Views-110,764 Erotica Sites Similar to X-Art? Views-108,401 9)Jb's Blog Interesting discussions about many porn topics.Views-101,066 Do you have any thoughts on why these were so successful? Can we learn anything here?

Tawnee Stone RIP - Car Accident Views-110,764 Tawnee Stone was a popular young porn model. But her death was a publicity stunt by the owner/operator of the site (not Tawnee Stone herself). I don't remember the details, but I think Tawnee Stone had retired, and the owner/operator of the site decided to create more interest in the site by announcing she had died. Turned out to be fake news. The owner/operator was not embarrased when the truth came out: he explained it was "only" a publicity stunt. A lot of fans were emotionally invested in the girl or their memories of her, and they felt ripped off. Just goes to show you there are all kinds of jerks in the world.

I think with the X-Art posts and the dirty-talking American pornstars, people are looking for specialized content that's not necessarily easily found by looking through the standard list of niches that sites have. For example, I think that "glamcore" is one of those niches that's becoming popular that you don't often see in a list of categories or tags - other than maybe on a glamcore site. It at least partially describe what it looks like X-Art has.
