Two Raffle Questions There are two things I would like to see an answer posted. I am serious and don't want to come across as sarcastic or with a negative attitude. One is about the raffle that just ended. The only times I remember that a week was skipped was at the end of the year, Christmas time. Every year the next raffle is for double the amount and all reviews posted since the last raffle are eligible. LK wrote a review that would have been eligible the week before, when we did not have a raffle. I don't see it mentioned as one he wrote in the winning announcement. The second week is the only one listed. None of the reviews for the missing week won. Is this a mistake? Should there be another drawing for that week? Question two I have wondered for a long time. If a reviewer posts multiple reviews in the same week do their chances of winning go up proportionately? The reason I ask it doesn't appear to be the case and never has. My guess is that the PU staff is either still snowed in or sick. Or both. It would be really nice if the PU staff dropped by more often to answer questions.  | |

I want to make something very clear. I won a raffle on 1/28 and wasn't eligible on the 2/4 raffle, which was the lost raffle. I just think it's unfair to those that were eligible. I was not upset about who won, which was no one, but was upset by the raffle not being done right and fair. The only ones who were eligible on the lost raffle were Exotics with 2 reviews, AlyBator with 5, LKLK with 1 and Umba8 with 1. | |

If any Amazon gift cards are going to be handed out for the Feb 4 lost raffle, which seems doubtful, the gift cards should be awarded to: exotics4me, Alybator, and UMBA8. LKLK won a gift card in the Feb 11 raffle, which, in theory, would make him ineligible retroactively for the Feb 4 raffle So the drawing would have 3 entrants: exotics4me Alybator UMBA8. But that is an issue that the PU staff would have to decide. Whether to have a drawing for the Feb 4 lost raffle, or not. | |

I agree with you that it seems doubtful. But it should be a certainty. I would expect that the raffle money is budgeted well in advance. It is up to management to spend money that on paper is already spent. This is a perfect opportunity for the site to show that the raffle is completely fair and above board. Both LK and I have no stake in the outcome. There is also my second question. Should anyone post more than one review for the week we are eligible? I have five for this week. That involves hours of work. Was this a waste of time and effort? I cannot assume I will win. I do hope it proportionately increases my chances though. We have seen many cases of reviews that took ten minutes or less win. PU can and should be better than that. All I ask is that rewards be balanced in favor of better reviews regarding both quantity and quality. Edited on Feb 15, 2020, 09:47pm | |
