I wondered when or if a thread like this would come up, and I'm happy it did.

Mine is a hand rendered version of the famous shot of Patrick McGoohan driving a Lotus 7 in the intro of "The Prisoner", a British television show from 1967-68. I simply didn't bother with the steering wheel as it didn't really apply. I drew it using my new-ish Wacom tablet in Photoshop. It is PNG format so I don't have to worry about what background the avatar is shown on.

Besides being a big fan the show, I also felt that its premise was particularly fitting to this industry and the challenges it faces. The slogan and oft repeated line in the show was "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!". Frankly, the message of the show is even more powerful today than it was 40 years ago - as more and more civil liberties seem to be falling to make way for legislation that will make safe from those evil terrorists hiding under our beds and in our closets. I say three cheers for Freedom and all the dangers it brings with it!

Lets hope porn remains uncensored for years to come :-)

Now, other users' avatars I'm curious about:
pat362 - that woman is sooo familiar, I know I've seen her before - but I can't place her. A 60's sci-fi show or movie I'm guessing.

nygiants03 - UFC? Is that Ultimate Fighting Championship?

JBDICK - that woman is quite curious looking, who is that?

I'm also curious as to why some people don't have an avatar. I'll extend my offer again - if you want assistance in creating an avatar, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to email me directly (through the site, just lick on my username) or make a post here. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Yea, mine is for the UFC ( Ultimate Fighting Championship). I am a huge fan. I watch all the PPV events, and the ultimate fighter shows! Cant wait for Saturday nights UFC 84 "ILL WILL" event.

Also there is some random hot woman next to it, so it fit well for me. Not sure who she is, possibly a ring girl...?

My avatar may change over time however, but for now, I like it.

Yea im also curious who some of the other members avatars are?

Mr Smut has a picture of what lady? Drooler is that your dog? witty guy, why a screaming monkey? exotics who is that lady, she looks familiar? Khan is that suppose to be you, or willy nelson?

Look forward to reading the answers?

No, not mine. I love dogs, but the one in the picture was simply the best droolin' dog shot I could find, and I'd looked through several, gauging both photo quality and the visibility of drool.

I made mine the maximum size allowed, 100 square. It works pretty nicely with the color scheme here at PU, too. It was a lucky find.

I didn't want a photo of a person drooling, or only of drool hanging out of someone's mouth. That's disgusting.

It's natural for a dog to drool. And they're animals. Sometimes when I look at porn, I feel like one myself. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

I suspected you might recognize my avatar simply by your choice of avatar. That's the actress Catherine Schell, but I prefer to think of her as Maya of the planet Psychon from the TV show "Space 1999". That is one show I've always wanted to see make a comeback. We could call it Space 2199. Long live the Brown Coats.

Ah! Maya from Psychon - of course :-) I think I've only seen a few episodes of Space 1999, but she has such a distinctive look that it would be hard to totally forget her. Thanks for the enlightenment :-) "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Mine is pretty lame. A model in an orange bikini -- get it? I don't even know who she is, I just searched Google for "orange bikini".

Mine is quite easy to guess as I explain it in my signature. Andie to me ist one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen and that's why I've chosen her to be my avatar.

I'm searching for photo shoots of her all the time. She appeared on donnysgirls.com, 30and40plus.com, 40somethingmag.com and allover30.com. The reason why I'm a member of AO30 for more than 1 year now is that she's a big star there and I don't want to miss anything related with her :).

If one of you should know about other appearances of her please let me know - thanks!

It's me, and a fairly good likeness imo.

When we were beta-testing the forum, I was actually using the photo (a slightly smaller version) as an avatar but Rick had it converted to a toon so it'd be consistent with the other TBP staff. I think the guy did a great job converting it.

Thanks for starting this thread. Maybe now I'll better understand why so many guys select chicks for avatars. That one has always left me scratching my head. :) Former PornUsers Senior Administrator

Hey Khan,

that's a real good avatar and it's as good as possible I'd say. "Sehr gut getroffen!" as I'd say in German.

As me and the wife are the happy owners of two German Shepherds - both male (4 and 6 years old) - those dogs are a big part of our life - man, I'd never get the exercise whitout the dogs - but that's another story.
Tried to find some good avatar of a fine looking dog, but fell for that wolf-photo - well, they're related, are they not?

I do hope that your dogs are healthy because breeding of this race was mislead in the near past. A "Deutscher Schäferhund" of pure breed is a real good companion for everyone. Not being aggressive but taking care of his horde that's what you can expect. You'll never ever end up with trouble because a good breed will deliver you with intelligent and loyal dogs.

My best fellow PU....
Yes, mr smut - these dogs come from different breedings and from some serious people in the Danish "Schaefer Hunde Club" - I'm very much aware of inbread - but we got good neighbours south of Denmark, namely: Deutchland! - and we have great coorporation with german breeders. The oldest is from the breeding of "Apoll vom Laacher-Haus" and the other from " Natz vom Steigerhof"/"Paola von der Murrenhtte".
And, mr smut: great and loyal dogs with a friendly mind - but nobody goes into our estate without permission from this owner, so yes, that's a fine comfort, too...and again it's another story.
But thanks for your reply - and take care down there in the good, old Deutchland......

Dear Denner,

I was not talking about inbreed but of the fact (Hell, I'm drunk right now!) that breeders made them doggies have bad hips. I do hope that your dogs don't suffer fom this.

That's great to hear - Hip dysplasia is a nasty thing for a dog to have to live with. That is the third reason that my family always gets mutts, since it is almost exclusively the pure bred dogs that get it. Reasons two and one would be cheapness and saving a dog from euthanasia, respectively.

Anyway - I agree with your choice, German Shepards are lovely dogs. Super trainable, friendly with kids, and nicely protective of your property. As a kid, my family had a German Shepard / Border Collie / something else, mutt thing - she was great - insanely trainable. She would actually do self training, oft called superstitious learning, so that she had specific routes that she decided she had to follow in various areas of the home. She weighed in at 45 lbs, she looked like a small German Shepard with normal size Shepard ears - quite goofy looking. Not the most stamina, but that dog was the fastest dog I've ever had contact with - ran across snow so quickly that she wouldn't leave tracks, just a shallow rut of disturbed snow. Also was a nervous wreck from any loud noise and not surprisingly died of a heart-attack.

My parents current dog is basically the antonym of that one - a Lab / Kangal (or Anatolian Shepard) mix (I think) - 90 lbs, and entirely energy conservative. I'm pretty sure there is a painting of her in some attic somewhere, as she looks almost the same as she did when she was 6 months old. I wish I had a residence that was suited for a dog, but an apartment just isn't a good place for a dog to be - they need roaming space. Be it to chase frisbees or dig holes or whatever. I tried several different avatars, but most didn't show enough of what I was going for. An exotic look to match my name. The model in mine, might be a surprise to some, is a well known model these days named Regina Ice. That picture is one of her very first sets, and she definitely defines exotic to me. Plus, I don't think she has gotten the attention she deserves, even with being a Twistys Treat of the Month.

She is one of the better solo masturbation models out now and her older hardcore material shows a very enthused woman at work!

Hey Toadsith
Your're right there: Mutts are just great - we once had a mix of Labrador/Border Collie/GS. Dammed sweetist dog ever seen...but that's what we all feel about our dogs, I guess.
And I agree: it's normally more safe regarding inbread - but not just that: The mutts - as you call them in english - are probably a pretty good choise for newer dog-owners - and man, that frisbee-game is just top!

Agreed :-) More likely than not, mutts will end up being a friendlyish, smartish dog - that's what made my parents current dog such a surprise. She is wildly smart, but insanely frustrating at times because she chooses what she wants to obey depending on her mood and whatnot. Exercise the hell out of her and she'll do whatever you want. But if she has a lot of energy, she gets very distracted and just wanders off to do her thing. Besides the fact that she looks incredibly similar to those Turkish dogs (and is in the proper weight range for the bitches, though on the small edge), that temperament is something they are known for. (That, and her aggressiveness and hole digging) Apparently they are considered difficult dogs and only for good trainers, which thankfully my father is, being a trained behavioral psychologist (though those guys spend more time with rats usually).

Though she doesn't fancy the game of fetch at all, which is annoying, because, as you said - the frisbee game really is wonderful, such an easy way to exercise a dog - and gets you very good at throwing them too - in the absence of wind (which can screw your shot) I could launch a frisbee the length a couple hundred yards with out much trouble. Usually could aim and hit a tree from that distance as well. I'm sure I'm no where near that good anymore. What they really need to make are Kevlar Aerobies, then you could send your dog out half a mile with one throw, lol "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

I think that stems from the same reason people in other forums choose Cars or Computers or whatever to represent them. In this forum people admire women, so they are choosing the woman they admire most as an example of their tastes.

I picked mine, because frankly I didn't feel like drawing a photo of myself, plus for the previous reasons mentioned and because Patrick McGoohan is a very cool dude in my opinion. Choice #2 would be Patrick McNee from the Avengers - but I decided I preferred McGoohan's serious expression better.

I must admit though, choosing a female as one's avatar when one is a male can make the gender identity thing quite confusing for the other users at first. To each's own, they say. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

Howler monkeys do rule, and if memory serves me right, they are the loudest land based animal in the world. Whales are louder.

Ah the Pilcrow - that stems from me researching special characters after Khan used a section sign (§) when referring to 18 U.S.C. § 2251. Via the research I found out that this symbol: is called the Pilcrow. I was so very amused by this that I decided to share my revelation in a rather ambiguous and mysterious way via the statement you've noticed in my signature. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

I gotta say, that quote of yours always cracks me up every time I accidentally read it. I usually try to ignore the signatures unless I'm bored. I'm horrible at doing two things at once, so if I get distracted, sometimes I forget where I was in the reading of the thread. Silly, but sadly true.

And thanks for the compliments - I may update him in the future, but I'm rather pleased with the McGoohan avatar for now :-) "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

I always found Sponge Bob quite disturbing... Sort of like R. Crumb was told to create a children's series about a sponge and under-the-sea life. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

At first I thought it was related to the Gonads & Strife video but then I realized that was a squirrel.

For those uninitiated in the worship of Gonads & Strife, see the video here:

Let's hear it from Monahan, himself - BTW: I like that penguin.. "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle"

My avatar reflects the impulsive nature of my porn site signup logic.

I see a site that gets my nad's rocking and I'll take the leap and start clicking in my Master Card number.

At least that's the way it used to be. Porn Users has saved me a bunch of bucks because I can get a complete feel for what I'm getting when I sign up.

I think mine would be pretty much the same, 'cept there'd be visible drool coming out of the penguin's beak. ;) I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

Recently changed mine to an even more rare picture of Regina Ice, love the red hair on her, and the over the shoulder look. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Are you sure that's Regina Ice? Honestly, I don't think it is. Regina has smaller eyes in overall proportion to her face. And this girl on the other hand has more in the way of almond eyes.

The girl you've chosen I identify as Wendy at ATK Exotics, also as Adrianna at KarupsHA (in 2005). She is a beautiful, sexy girl for sure!

Both Wendy and Regina Ice are at ATK Exotics, filed separately. Wendy looks more Asian, and Regina of course looks more European.

Actually, my initial reason to come over here to the "Avatar" thread was just to compliment you on your new choice! I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. Edited on Jul 27, 2008, 12:03pm

I had changed it, I had a redhead picture of Regina, but had found a really great one of Wendy, aka according to her, the real Cumisha Jones. Someone had asked in a review what Cumisha Jones looks like. I had found Wendy on her own site and FTV before realizing she was on ATK Exotics. From what she has said, she is Eskimo/Spanish. Who knows, her eyes are some of the best in porn. I have another set where she has an orange and white shirt on, tight jeans shorts, her eyes look a very dark green color in that set. Wendy used to reply to emails on her own site, but porn.com bought it out, and now has about 15 movies of her and several dozen exclusive picture sets, but no zips. Her biggest problem was that her overprotective boyfriend pretty much pushed her out of the business, if you've ever seen her sets on FTV, the note on the sets is that someone took the pictures for them. It was that overprotective boyfriend. Her porn.com content is pretty good, combined with them buying a Stracy Stone site as well, those two alone are worth the $9.95 price. A few of the Wendy videos are also on ATK Exotics though.

I just checked porn.com, she has 15 videos and 6,628 pictures on there. You can go on there as a preview, go the all pornstars, then C, last page of Cs where she is listed as Cumisha Jones and they give you a pretty good preview of those.

Stracy has 23 videos, 7070 pictures on there. Including what I assume are her earliest pictures with pretty short hair.

If they ever added zips, that site would be one of the best on the internet. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Porn.com. Now there's a domain name to covet. Funny, I'd never noticed it before.

I looked at the Cumisha Jones. I wonder if that's her jealous boyfriend doing the hardcore honors.

I was checking out the Carli Banks and noticed that quite a lot of it is also at Matrix Nudes. So I guess the site's a mix of the exclusive and non-exclusive.

Anyway, thanks for pointing me to it! I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

Just put mine up. For those in the states it might be easy to recognize, but perhaps not for others. It's for the Arizona Diamondbacks, the MLB team here in Arizona. I'm a big fan, so hence the logo.

Nice pick up on Adam Dunn. I'm a Dodgers fan, and hoping Manny can get done for us down the stretch. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk
