Member lounge????? Hey guys, me again to pick your brain. I am looking to put together some sort of interaction feature on the ATKLounge site and I wanted to ask you guys what would you like to see on it or would like to be able to do on. it Does this sort of thing even interest anyone? I know our company has not been the best at communicating with our members but it is my main mission to change that. I thought it would be nice to have a place you could leave comments about our sites and know that they are being looked at. Since I started at the company 3 months ago I have been keeping my eye on your board and have been trying to help you feel like there is someone here behind this huge porn machine but I just feel like there is so much more I could do. Tell me if this is something that would be of interest to any of you. As always thanks for your comments. If you mean a member forum? Yes, I think it is a good idea, but not just one the one site. I think either one for each site or prefrably a combined one with different fora for different sites, accessible to members from any ATK site. A forum would be a great idea except-----most member forums don't truly allow for freedom in discussing sites' shortcomings. Many of us here have criticised sites, to have them yank the post. I hope your idea is to have a forum that is more than just another marketing tool. | |

Specific site forums mostly discuss over and over how great the site is, the scenes are, the pornstars are etc, etc. Then there is the constant slagging off of rival sites, even though the people doing the slagging are still paying to be members of the sites they are complaining about. Any criticism of the site itself though will be deleted or met by flames from the horde of loyal member keyboard commandos. Its as if people are getting brainwashed by the forum marketing into believing that particular site is the best thing since sliced bread. The help sections also get little or no responses. There is a definite tendancy for that to happen. Only a thick skinned webmaster is going to take criticism well.
