CCbill payment I was looking at some handjob sites and I noticed that on some cases they don't accept Mastercard (the card I use). For example, handjobcafe.com does not accept mastercard but theartofhandjobs.com does. But they're both from CCBill. I've seen this with many other sites as well. Does anyone know why this is the case? | |

CCBill and other processors only deal with the cards the sites wish to accept. I don't know why some don't accept Mastercard as that is the card I deal with myself. I think Mastercard charges them an annual fee to accept payments from their card holders. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

That may be it. Well, guess I will be looking into one of those pre-paid creditcards then. Cause having 2 creditcards just for joining the occasional site is a bit too much. | |

I tried that once with a prepaid online VISA for this very reason. The transaction got rejected on both ends by both CCBill and the credit card company. I had to talk with support on both ends just to get it to go through. Now, I've had a VISA and a Mastercard for a while, and applying for a real VISA was a lot easier than putting up with that crap with the prepaid online VISA. Maybe I just got unlucky though, I'm sure there are better prepaid VISAs out there. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. Edited on May 27, 2016, 05:24pm | |

Many banks now offer prepaid type cards for their customers with no fees to them. Unfortunately, mine offers only Mastercard as both debit and prepaid. I don't know why they do not accept Mastercard as all credit cards charge those fees.
