I also prefer realism. Too much slick photography out there of the cookie-cutter variety. But everyone's taste is different. The bottom line here is that people look at porn to get aroused. I think the producers of pornography forget this simple fact and are too concerned with volume. The erotic element gets lost in the in-your-face stuff. You end up with tons of photos and videos that look the same, feel the same, and are pretty uninspiring. For me, 90% of the stuff out there is repetitive junk. I have subscribed to one site this year. I am not a heavy viewer of erotic stuff but I do enjoy it at times. I just don't like a lot of it because it is so extreme now. Hitting, spitting, all this junk. How can you get aroused by that? I don't get it but am nobody to tell anyone what is erotic. Also, my pet peeve is when a photographer has a beautiful model to work with and decides to do closeups of body parts. I know what a vagina looks like. I don't need to see it magnified a hundred times in fifty different photos. And I don't need to see repetitive close-ups of some guys hairy ass in a hardcore erotic scene featuring a beautiful model. I would just say be original, be yourself, and keep it real. Don't try to emulate something else. Offer something unique. Someone will like it and perhaps generate a new niche of fans. To put it bluntly, I would rather subscribe to a site with very small volume that gave me a raging boner rather than a site with a zillion photos and videos that are repetitive, airbrushed nonsense. I don't mind the occasional zoomed in shot, but really for nearly all the shots, I would prefer to see most / all of the model.  Cap'n. I agree with just about all of this. In answer to the spitting and abuse, it may well be linked to some of the abusive comments made by porn fans on some of the sites. Unfortunately I think it maybe about abuse and hatred of women, and dissatisfaction with their own lives. Simply put, some men get off on abuse of women. Possibly that's an extreme reaction from me. You could say all porn is about abuse of women, so maybe it's me being judgemental. All I know is I hate those things, and I hate gynaecological closeups too. Give me as much of the female as possible, the whole thing. We have to face the truth, most of us here are not average porn lovers. Not that I could tell you what the average porn lover is, all I know is we're not it, so maybe webmasters shouldn't be listening to us, or maybe they should be listening to us, and then doing the opposite. | |

I don't care too much if the performer is super model looking or she is the girl next door type but I do care about skin blemishes like pimples, razor burns, zits and the likes. Especially when they are in and around the genitals. Since so many girls now shave their bush then we have now had over a decade of girls with pimples and razor burns in areas that I never used to see. It's not a total turn off but I know that I cannot watch certain scenes simply because I do not enjoy looking at all those blemishes. I want the girls to look the best they can regardless of what they were born with. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I myself find the treatment of women in most porn these days revolting. I really don't understand what a guy finds erotic about it. But I guess to each his own. Thanks everyone for the answers. But something's better than nuttin'.  To answer your last inquiry ...... I Go after most video I've heard about from guys around this site. Lean more on what I like and want, if available. That entails erotically decent solo, and intercourse, preferably light-core and all done in the missionary position. However, will settle for about anything with devotion for motion having the ladies doing their stuff lying on their backs. Generally I found sites by seeing samples/trailers on tgp's, sometimes word of mouth or some days by following my favourite stars. I'll see a scene I like or see an actress I like appearing and be interested in seeing it but that won't sway me completely just get me over to the site. From there I'll look at the tour or how much is shown about the site's scenes. If I can see lots of content with regular updates I'll more than likely join. Sites like videobox,brazzers,naughtyamerica etc are easy to join because I can see the content I'm getting easily. I often go back to those sites. Other sites unfortunatly seem amazing but without reading through loads of reviews I don't know what I'm getting and even then unless the review is very favourable I shy away. Trailers aren't always necessary even just a couple of the most recent or a compolation trailer and then a few photos about each scene and the date is what I'd want to see as a minimum. To sum up if a site is transparent to what I'm getting then I'm more like to join and later rejoin. | |
