Seeking help Dear PU Members, I subscribed to a porn website, FemmeFataleFilms.com, on January the 6th. I could access the website without any problem, browse, stream and download the content, etc.,... Since Sunday a little before noon the downloads were no longer working. If I want to visit the website I notice a blank page with a time out error. I tried to contact the website as well as CCBILL. The website claims that their website is up and running and that they daily access the website to add new content, etc.,... However I can't access the website anymore since Sunday. It is a very strange phenomena. Besides it is the only website giving me problems. Except ABP (an add blocker for Firefox) I don't use any other blocking software. The problem is not limited to Mozilla but also to MS Edge and Google Chrome. I tried to visit the website over the same connection but from two other devices (tablet and laptop) and it isn't working either. I don't think that my ISP is deliberately blocking this website. All other porn websites that I visit are working fine. I'm really puzzled. Never seen such a problem before. Edited on Jan 25, 2018, 06:14am | |

I suggest waiting a day or two. If the problems persist, contact CCBill and describe your problem (lack of service from Website you paid to access) and ask for a refund. You've tried to solve the problem, and got no help from the website. So you should be able to get a refund from CCBill. I hope you will let us know the outcome of your situation. with a reply to this comment. | |

You may also want to clear all your data using a program along the lines of CCleaner. I need to do that every once in a while as I sometimes have had the same problem. The problem is having to go back to each site and input all of my passwords again. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner I just have the free download of CCleaner and it does a good job when I need to clean my computer's junk files. Many sites add extra files when you visit them and they need to be cleaned as they may cause problems. "Dogs think people are Gods. @Ik2fireone. The problem occurred on Sunday. I waited 48 hrs before doing anything. Because I couldn't access the website I tried a number of standard E-Mail addresses like : info@, webmaster@ and support@ hoping that my message describing my problem would reach them. After sending the first two addresses seemed to be none existing. Not being sure that my message, describing the issue, would go through I also contacted CCBill via live Chat. The agent told me that the only thing they could do was to send a message to them regarding my issue. The same day FFF support E-Mailed me. First of all CCBill informed FFF that I had an account problem which isn't correct. They also informed me that the servers were up and running, that they access the site daily more than once for updates and in case that the server would be down that they get a message from their provider. I clearly informed FFF regarding my problem and even sent a print screen of the blank page and error message that I receive when I try to access their site. So far they were very understanding but indeed the problem isn't resolved yet. @merc77. Thanks for your advice. I used the free version of CCleaner in the past but haven't installed it on this PC yet. I was a bit tired of all the popups regarding new versions and the fact that CCleaner recommended me to clean my system. I will install it later on and try your solution. I'll keep you all up to date once I have more news. Thanks in advance. | |

Hi Merc77, I downloaded the latest free version of CCleaner 64-bit and installed it on my PC. I installed the application with the default settings and let the software analyze my system. After this step I removed whatever this program found. Unfortunately it didn't solve the issue. When I want to access femmefatalefilms.com I still get the time out error just as before. Never had this phenomena before with any website. Usually when cookies, history or whatever would be the problem it is noticeable on several websites which isn't the case. Only FemmeFataleFilms.com can't be accessed. Besides I used two other devices (a tablet and a laptop). Both devices never visited this site and they have the same problem. I could contact my ISP and ask them to check why this is happening but it is a bit of a delicate matter. In the worst case scenario I could also contact CCBill again and ask them for a refund if they are willing to do that. | |

I was told by a few reliable sources that was the case with sites and certain files. I use CCleaner just to be on the safe side. (Then again, it was a long time ago I was given that advice. Hi Onyx, Thanks for your advice. I'm an ICT sys admin for many years now and I did try a number of well known commands including the flushdns command among others. None of these commands resolved the issue. FemmeFataleFilms.com is the only website that is giving me this issue. I can visit any other website without any problem. However I have very good news to tell you. FFF Support found the issue in cooperation with their server company. For some reason, yet to be determined, my IP address got blocked on their server. They unlocked my IP address and everything works like a charm for the moment. | |

Many years ago, I was a member of some website. One day, I opened my computer and found a text message on my desktop that came from a website I was a member of. I never knowingly gave the website any control or access to my computer, desktop, whatever. It scared me that a website I was using was able to send me a text message on my desktop. This was not an email sent to my email account. The message appeared on my desktop. I never realized a website had that ability, that control. I was thinking, that maybe they could examine my computer's contents. I have no idea whether that was true or not. This was years ago. It only happened once. But I would assume that websites can do many things, that most of us never know about. And that is only about the legal things. Hackers can do more, I believer. And NASA and other spy agencies can also do more. Anything on your computer or any other electronic device is fair game to spy agencies, law enforcement, and hackers. (The FBI believes in strong encryption, but also believes it has the moral and legal right to access any device it wants to examine. My take is that the FBI is speaking out both sides of its mouth. You have the right of privacy, until the FBI or any law enforcement agency wants to examine your history and files. At which time it becomes the property of the FBI.)
