The PU forum is now emoji-powered! Hi everyone!  Back in May we came up with an idea to create a fresh emoji set (after seeking a solution for myporn’s forum), since there were no licensed options for web use. I had been working with a talented artist who I thought would be perfect. 4 months later we had finished a complete set of emoji icons (over 800 total) and built a web-site to showcase them along with tools for developers to implement them. They’re completely open source, and something we wanted to contribute for the love of it. Visit either of the new sites: Emoji One: http://www.emojione.com/ (learn more and demo) Emoji Codes: http://emoji.codes/ (browse all emoji, and the corresponding shortnames) They’re fully compatible with unicode standards which means that if you insert an emoji from, say your mobile device, into the pornusers message box it’ll convert properly. More importantly though, it enables the use of a massive library of graphics for desktop users as well. This is how to insert an emoji into your message: 1. In the message box, type a “:” to bring up the emoji selector. 2. Start typing a keyword for an emoji you wish to find. 3. Select the emoji you’d like to use and it’ll insert the corresponding code. 4. To view all the codes and emoji available, visit: http://www.emoji.codes Here’s what the emoji panel looks like…  Hope you all enjoy them!  ----------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ: Did this impact the myporn launch date? To some extent, yes. By about 1-2 months, but the overall reward has been priceless. We’re still on track for Q2. Will the former animated emoticons still work? Definitely. They’re still available from the message panel. Note a few code names had to be changed to avoid conflicts. BTW, browse all will bring up the page at http://www.emoji.codes/ Click on the emoji you want and it'll be placed in your clipboard so you can bring it back to paste (ctrl-v) in your post (or type in the short-code).
