Cant download from idols69

Paid for 1 year but after 2 months I can only download for 6 minits before download restarts but with 90% less speed then the user session ends before the download completes rendering it unwatchable. Contacted support, they said to send them a tracerout wich I can do but cant work out how to save or copy the results. So I asked for a refund since not being able to download at all. Then the spam mail started poring in and support have not replied. So much for there 100% satisfaction or your money back claim.

You'd probably do better to post this on the listing page for Idols69 https://www.pornusers.com/review/idols69/

As far as getting the results of the tracert, you should be able to copy n paste using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V

BTW, welcome to PornUsers

PS. If the cut-n-paste doesn't work, you can try redirecting the output to a text file. From the DOS command prompt, try tracert {domain-name} >c:\{filename.txt} Former PornUsers Senior Administrator

I'm not having any downloading problem from a paysite, but I was curious to see how the DOS command works.

I have Windows 7.

I entered at the DOS command prompt:
tracert {domain-name} >c:\{filename.txt}

substituting the PU domain name, and the message I get after hitting the Enter key is:

Access is denied.

Does that DOS command still work for the DOS supplied with Windows 7?

If the DOS command does work for Windows 7, would you kindly type out a sample command that will work, using the tracert command?

I use DOS very infrequently, just curious to see what can be done with it. The advances in Windows, beyond DOS, make the computer so much easier to use.

Sorry, I don't have Windows 7 on any of the machines the wife or I use so I can't test how tracert works.

When you try tracert w/out the redirection, does it work ok?

If not, it's possible your firewall is blocking access for tracert.

If it works ok directly but not if you try to redirect the output, then I guess it's possible your system doesn't allow access (or writing a file) to the root directory (c:\)

So there's no confusion, the actual text you'd type at the command prompt is:
tracert pornusers.com >c:\test999.txt

... of course it should work with any domain and/or text file name. But again, can't say for Win7, sorry. Former PornUsers Senior Administrator

Thanks for the hint on using DOS in Win7, Khan.

Per your suggestion, I tried using tracert without redirection, and the tracert output was printed on my DOS screen.

tracert pornusers.com >c:\test999.txt
This gives me the: Access is denied message.

tracert pornusers.com > c:\users\owner\test999.txt
This redirects the output of the tracert command to the test999.txt file.

So for some reason, I can't redirect the output to a file that is on the root of the C: drive, but I can redirect the output to a file that is on a subdirectory of the C: drive.

My guess would be that my firewall is not blocking the tracert command, because the tracert command does work when I do not redirect it, and it also works when I redirect it to a text file that is in a subdirectory of the C: drive.

The tracert is blocked only when I redirect it to write to a text file that is directly on the root of the C: drive.

Looks like you've solved your problem.

Where you redirect the output (what directory) is immaterial. I just used the root directory in the example because its common to all users.

Just guessing here but ...
It's possible the command prompt box is launched using limited permissions and writing to the root directory needs administrator access.

And yes, if tracert runs then it's not a firewall issue.

So, for anyone coming to this thread later, here's the syntax that should work for you regardless of your Windows version ...
tracert {domain-name} >c:\{valid-subdirectory}\{filename.txt} Former PornUsers Senior Administrator

This is where reading the comments area might have saved you money, as I posted quite tart comments about how fucking shitty this site was in terms of getting access to it.

Oh, and the real laugh will be when they deign to respond to you and tell you that it was your fault.

The site sucks!
