AQUAMAN SEQUEL PLANNED. AQUAMAN SEQUEL PLANNED. EVEN THOUGH AQUAMAN SANK AT THE BOX OFFICE, BARELY BREAKING $1 BILLION DOLLARS (US), WARNER BROS WILL BE TRYING AGAIN TO MAKE A SEQUEL THAT DOES BETTER. THERE IS EVEN TALK OF BRINGING BACK JASON MOMOA AS AQUAMAN, BUT THE STUDIO VOWS TO BRING IN PHOTOSHOP EXPERTS TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF MOMOA'S MUSCLES TO MAKE HIM A TRULY IMPRESSIVE FIGURE .

Okay so I'm no comic book fan but I feel like the DC universe movies are distinctly worse than Marvel films. Marvel films are at least fun! The DC ones are just so...boring and bloated.

^In many ways not being a comic book fan is probably the better option because fans come into these movies with a preconceived idea of what the characters should look and act like and that's almost guaranteed to clash with the final product. It's even worse when you consider that most of these characters have had multiple reincarnation through their long history and each reincarnation is different from the last so that being a fan or Batman or Superman can mean a different thing depending on which one you're thinking of. That said the biggest issue with all of the DC comic book movies except maybe Wonder Woman is that the characters all appear to be very flawed and often unlikable. It's takes a lot of balls to take (Superman) the most iconic superhero of all time and make him look like a brooding homicidal freak. I liked Man of Steele to a certain point but it's not a feel good movie like most Marvel movies are. Long live the Brown Coats.

Aquaman was fun which is why it made so much money. Shazam is tracking well as it is both colorful and looks like a great popcorn flick. If anything, DC is getting its act together and letting the directors do what they want to do instead of worrying about a shared universe. "Dogs think people are Gods. ^I may be wrong but somehow I think that Shazam is going to have some box office issues because the main character is a 14 year old teenager but the market you are trying to reach is young men between 18 and 25. it also doesn't help that Shazam is not really a current superhorse so the people who know him are likely much older than 25 and they probably won't want to watch a teenager. I'd like to point out that if the trailers are what we will get tone wise then there seems to be a significant amount of humour and not actually funny humour. Long live the Brown Coats.

I'M TOO OLD FOR SHAZAM. BUT ALITA MIGHT BE GOOD. EVEN PAYING FOR THE 3D VERSION. I THINK I ONLY SAW ONE 3D MOVIE IN THE LAST 10 YEARS, DON'T REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS, IT GAVE ME A HEADACHE FROM WATCHING IT. BUT THINKING ABOUT SEEING ALITA IN A THEATER.

I think Shazam received a push back when I was very young, would have been around the early 80s. I have an old picture with me as a 3-4 year old wearing a Shazam lightning bolt shirt. Also remember having a Shazam beach towel back then too. He was my favorite back then but I only had a couple of his comic books. My older brother was Superman and our neighbor was Batman. So, I played as Shazam when we would play at the local playground. I mostly remember the character's name being an acronym for six immortals and always arguing with my brother that Shazam was superior to Superman. When I saw the trailer for Shazam, I shook my head in disbelief and knew I wouldn't be watching it. I'm now wondering if Shazam's early 80s push had something to do with Clash of the Titans since it had mythological beings in it and Shazam's name meant Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury. I'm still holding out on the Iron Fist movie or series. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

SO NO INTEREST IN THE ALITA OR THE BRIE LARSON CAPTAIN MARVEL MOVIES? SEEMS LIKE PU MEMBERS HAVE GIVEN UP ON SEEING A MOVIE IN A THEATER. OR ELSE COMMENTING ON THEM. I KNOW IT'S CHEAPER TO WAIT TO WATCH IN CABLE, OR DVD, AND THAT SEEMS TO BE WHAT PU MEMBERS PREFER. OR ELSE THEY DON'T HAVE ANY INTEREST IN WATCHING A LOT OF MOVIES, ANYWAY. WHEN OR WHAT WERE THE LAST GOOD MOVIES ANYONE SAW? I THOUGHT WONDER WOMAN WAS PRETTY GOOD. ALSO, BOTH SICARIO MOVIES WERE GOOD. ALSO, WIND RIVER (THE MOVIE DIRECTED BY THE SICARIO WRITER) WAS GOOD, TOO.

The trailer has a lot of excitement among adult comic book fans. It might even outdo Marvel's Captain Woke at the worldwide box office. Aquaman wasn't exactly a top tier hero and his movie pulled in over $1 billion worldwide. I have seen the trailers and love the look of the movie. It also isn't dark and dreary like the Superman V Batman movie. "Dogs think people are Gods. Cats don't as they know better." - Kedi (2016) Dogs have masters; Cats have staff.

I got to the movies all the time. I used to work at a movie theatre and it was one of my favourite jobs! Actually, my favourite right now in theatres is definitely The Favourite. Plus, lesbian scenes! Win!!!!
