While I do not have a problem with a mosque at that location, I respect those who do have objections.

Too bad our politicians of both parties have turned this discussion into a partisan vote grab for this fall.

Building a mosque does not mean it will blast a call for prayer. A friend of mine recently lived in an apartment close to two Catholic churches that still rang their bells multiple times every day. There are noise laws in the U.S. applying to many Catholic churches silencing their bells, and those same laws will apply to the mosques.

While true there are 8 bits in a byte, because of various overhead in tcp/ip data packets, the conversion between mbps and the MB/sec we achieve is much closer to a factor of 10

Even if you don't give your email address out to anyone, they will find it and they will spam it.

They have scripts running all the time, they take a domain name and start hitting all possible letter combinations and see which doesn't return back as invalid.

They'll use scripts to hit an email server beginning with
a@mail.com
aa@mail.com
aaa@mail.com
aaaa@mail.com
b@mail.com
...
etc.

In other words, spam is unavoidable, and it's not worth trying to find someone to blame for it.

^^^ but the main point was, they did not "hack" the account, they're not seeing the email messages in there or whatever else.

Doubt it. More likely they sent out spam through their own systems and forged the header information to make it look like it came from your email account. Happens to everyone. It's all scripted.

hehehe - this forum should add some type of devil smiley in the collection

I think I have just read to much of the eurobabeindex forum, while the guys who run the site are cool, a lot of the users there need constant reality checks They believe porn's worth is defined by how wide the ass gets stretched

It's funny, over here I get accused of being a pro-porn insider, while over on that forum I get accused of being an anti-porn activist I love it!

But uh, yeah, no one should ever take me too seriously

I usually chime in if I think someone is not taking into consideration possible alternate views on a particular situation. I never claim to be right, just different

This is a porn forum, a gathering of individuals brought together by a shared interest in jerking off. How much acceptance does one wish to have?

Just kind of randomly talking to everyone, not necessarily you in particular. It's all good People like cheap. And honestly, I think most people watch porn less frequently than those here, which I have to imagine allows one to easily tolerate the things that many here have grown to hate... fake tits, tattoos, idiot males, etc.

This sums up the whole wall of text. You hate mainstream porn but can't get away from the most mainstream site in existence, because it is just so damn cheap.

Niche costs money. I last bought an 18min fetish clip priced at $1/min ($18 total). Fucking amazingly great scene. But how many of you would buy it, even if it were your favorite fetish starring your favorite girl? No one? Rather sign up to Videobox and set your download manager to grab 100 random gonzo dvds to sort through? Yea, ain't that how it always goes Edited on Aug 02, 2010, 04:45pm

Also there is a large archive to help identify European models here:
http://www.thenude.eu/cover_index.php

Doesn't help much for this one who you're looking for, though is still a very good resource for model lookups.

Was reading about some things elsewhere, pretty interesting, I'll try to recall the link.

Watermarks on content not only redirect people from piracy sites to the content's creator - which I think only occurs for a very small percentage of people - but also allows the creators to register a trademark and go after the sites for improper use of that trademark. DMCA and copyright laws have been proven to be basically worthless, trademark lawsuits have had much better success fighting back.

Then, organized crime is getting in to the porn piracy business, pushing the tube sites. Their goal is specifically to break the porn industry. Everyone is going to surf porn and if the bulk of the global traffic of 100,000 porn sites can be reduced to a dozen or so mafia controlled sites, then somehow they will be able to make money on owning and rationing out the bandwidth to others at a very hefty markup. They lose money on the bandwidth eaten by the tube sites, while making up for it reselling portions of the finite resource. Not sure on the specifics but that is the gist of it.

Eh, I generally separate the two by, any scene that is gentle to the girl is softcore, any scene that is abusive to the girl is hardcore Then there is no need for "midcore"

The main draw to Clips4Sale is niche or fetish content not supplied by a mega-porn site. And with the prices and setup, it's not possible for the pirates to make $$ off redistributing the content either.

So, have a desirable niche that's not competing against a mega site, nor against the piracy world, then the store will succeed even at those prices. If someone wants the content, he is going to pay for it. If someone doesn't really want the content, I doubt halving the price will triple the sales.

The site is what it is. And if it's not to your specific liking, then just go elsewhere.

Explicite-Art probably the closest.

Otherwise, the government of France decided some years ago to tax porn into oblivion, hence a void of French porn.

And more trivia, the bikini was designed by a Frenchman and named after the shock and awe of the Bikini Islands h-bomb tests

Looking at that site's join pages, I doubt they actually even used netbilling. Either way, I do not like netbilling, and would only use that payment processor using virtual credit card number.

ccbill, epoch, & vxsbill operate completely separate from the porn site, all subscriptions, payments, renewals, etc. you deal with the billing company directly, the porn site is completely out of the picture and they never have access to your payment information.

Netbilling operates together with the porn site and you are left with the decision of whether the porn site is honest or not. With Netbilling the porn site has greater options to upsell (place further charges on your card) and they can make it much more difficult to cancel.

Your best option is disputing the charge with your credit card company. Good chance they will just wipe the charge off and that will be the last you ever hear of it.

Call your credit card company and dispute the charge. Some let you start the dispute process through the bank website. Also check if your bank offers virtual card numbers, a little software application that lets you set up and use temporary numbers you can use for future purchases.

Also in the future, only subscribe if the site brings you to ccbill or epoch or vxsbill, these three billers have a long history of honest transactions. ccbill even refunded me recently for a site that went belly-up shortly into the subscription period.

But yea, resolving through the credit card company is often the easiest way.

Could just be a very busy site at times.

Say they have a 1gbps connection, if 100 people are downloading scenes you'll see a 1MB/sec download rate. If 1,000 are downloading, or 100 people are using download managers eating 10 connections each, then you'll see a 100KB/sec rate.

Everyone puts out so much fear about this case, big bad government trampling the porn industry. They act as if Stagliano has already lost.

What if Stagliano wins this court case? What if precedence is finally set saying what the porn industry is doing is legal? All it takes is one juror on the case finding him not guilty.

As for a site that offers this "midcore" (compliments to Capn) class we're looking for, well....I'm also open for some suggestions.
I might add that it wouldn't hurt seeing for a change sex that comliments the women being laid rather than humiliating her. To be blunt, Sex that looks natural. Scratch the anal, ass and tit-slappin', facials...or rough-housing in general, and lets have it just like normal couples do it in their bedrooms.

Laugh if you will, but some of us actually like this kind of fare.

Oh go for it and call it that "Hopey Changey Thing"

Beyond that, politics is best left off this site me thinks.

To this trial? All I'll say is I don't believe it has much at all to do with free speech rights. If Stagliano had created for sale an audio tape of himself describing the porn sex acts he visioned in his head, and he was prosecuted for selling such audio tape, then you have a free speech crisis.

But here the situation is about physical acts one person is performing on another person - it's a tad bit more than just an idea.

I was upgraded to a 3D capable dlp when my previous set went bad within the warranty period - and I have a few 3D porn vids on my pc, but to complete the setup is like from $300-$400 more and sure would be a nice novelty, but I don't want to drop the money on it, especially not knowing what the results would be. Seeing little bits of the vids using the crosseye method is very interesting & enticing (but not something you want to do for a whole scene).

I mean, I read over on another porn forum recently a user who was absolutely dead serious in asking a producer of extreme porn for a dvd focusing on anal prolapse I do believe there is a large percentage of porn addicts who have lost sight that it is a real person on the other side of the internet, something more than just pixels on a monitor.

These idiots are out there and are largely being satisfied by producers. It's all a matter of percentages - does the "good" porn outweigh the "bad" porn? Personally I think the good outweighs the bad, but that's just me

hehe

There is a video clip somewhere of a porn sex scene that should be taking place but instead Evan Stone is all cuddled up in a Snuggie on the couch reading a book, he doesn't want to give it up to go have sex. Ron Jeremy overhears them, offers to replace Evan in the sex scene, though Evan starts telling Ron how great the Snuggie feels "it's like being inside a vagina". Ends with Evan & Ron together under the Snuggie while the girl standing off to the side in disgust of both of them

Okay my descriptions are bad, the vid is better but don't know if it's out anywhere...

That is all a domain name is, a translation to an ip address.

Hold off on making your tin-foil hats until the governing body dictates a block of ip addresses for porn site hosting.

I agree that some of our statements are spur of the moment and that some of our criticisms are occasionally unjustified or too subjective .. but to see you consistently take the side of the site owners or their C/S is baffling in a forum like this, to say the least. I am not the confrontational type, so I don't want to start a war of words with you but your reactions do seem strange and out of place.

I love Devil's Advocate I don't always agree with site owners, like the latest comment on Simonscans is thorough and justified. I work for a web hosting company, though no adult hosting - ain't gonna touch that where I live (the admins here if they look they know I've always been on the same static ip address and looking that up will give my general location). I have experience building, maintaining, hosting websites, and dealing with customer service issues.

To go back to the main topic at hand, my own expectations are simple - I join a site because there is material there I want to have, and as long as I get access to that material within the subscription time I'm fine with that. I view it as I'm paying for the material, not the time. I know it does help that I have something specific to focus on when I browse and join sites.

As long as the billing is through a reputable billing processor (ccbill / epoch / vxsbill) you will not have to worry about canceling.

I would not sign on to a trial if the site used anyone else. I don't even like signing on for month subscriptions to sites that don't use one of the above. That is when you break out the virtual credit card numbers and cancel the number immediately after initial use.

But, if site uses one of the above mentioned processors, you have nothing to worry about.

Yea no problems there - use a virtual credit card number then cancel the number immediately after signing up.

You're good to go!

Once the number is canceled, no more charges are possible against the number, so they cannot tack on additional charges later on. This is what I did the one time I signed up with them. All was good.
