Yes, it does require a certain skill set & even mind set to get it right, both in video & stills.

As a side issue, these two media do require different skills.
It still surprises me how many websites attempt to do both video & stills.
IMO very few carry off both well.

This might make a good poll topic too.

We are in an age of instant gratification.
Virtually anything hardcore is readily accessible, pretty much on demand.
I can't help feeling though that, apart from innocence, a lot of eroticism has been lost.
Time was that a glimpse of nylon covered thigh was an arousing erotic experience.
These days though you either get the juxtaposition of prim and proper elegance suddenly diving into intimate gynaecology or at the other end of the spectrum non-nude material.

What has happened to the middle course?...

Right or wrong is a perception decided by that society's values.

Not solely for porn, but also because I had a young family & didn't want to disturb the kiddies when listening to (loud) music & gaming.

I would add a word of caution with wireless headphones.

Libido & arousal has always been around, promoted by pornography in various forms down the ages.
Even Rubens' portraits were pornography in their day, sponsored by the rich elite who could indulge themselves.

The first big step was the invention of photography.
For the first time you had a real person there as opposed to a purely artistic representation.

The next big step was the Instamatic. That released the amateur photographer from the potential embarrassment of having his naked main squeeze ogled by the technician at the developing shop.

There was a sonic boom with the invention of digital photography.

The big bang was the internet. It opened a whole new world of possiblities, which are still being discovered and exploited as technology expands ever onwards.

The generic term 'coloured' can be regarded as a PC euphemism.

A lot of black folk I have met have no issue with being referred to as black, but do take exception to the generic 'coloured' description.

'We're all coloured, I'm black, you're white.'

FWIW I have no issue with it.
