Isn't the simplest thing not to make porn in Western Virginia?

Or is that likely to be US National Legislation?

If it is, that might well have dramatic repercussions for the US porn industry.

As we don't own or moderate the site, there is really relatively little effective we can do.

Those that enjoy a debate that gets somewhat out of hand respond in a hopefully controlled manner.
Kudos to those that can do that.
I can't trust myself to do that, and I don't want to get banned from here if I 'lose it.'
So I usually take the opposite approach, not biting.
It is tricky when you are being goaded, I know.
If they are left with no-one to argue with they get bored and wander off to cause trouble elsewhere.

I think the outcome was satisfactory, if a little protracted in getting there.

TBH I would suggest more attentive Moderation would be the best way forward, as the ground rules are already there.

The way I see it, folk of a certain age are often expected to be grouchy.

I have to admit I have come to enjoy a good rant myself.

That is both as Ranter & Rantee!

Rants are good for the soul & purge stress.

They often acheive nothing other than to make you feel better for having vented.
If they inform or entertain others that is a bonus.

That is good enough in itself for me!

Zeke is cleaning his rifle and accidentally shoots his wife.
He dials 911.

Zeke says "It's my wife, I've accidentally shot her.
I've killed her"

Operator "Please calm down sir. Can you first make
sure she really is dead?"

CLICK,BANG

Zeke "OK, done that, what next?" Admiral of the PU Hindenburg. 2009 PU Award

@ exotics

I think you handled it pretty well given the situation you were in.

As I posted earlier, I wouldn't have trusted myself to be polite, so largely I refrained from comment, much as I wanted to charge at some of the goading.
My hope was by ignoring it, they would give up & move on.

A HUSBAND IS AT HOME WATCHING A

FOOTBALL MATCH WHEN HIS WIFE INTERRUPTS,

'HONEY, COULD YOU FIX THE LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY?

IT'S BEEN FLICKERING FOR WEEKS NOW.'

HE LOOKS AT HER AND SAYS ANGRILY,

'FIX THE LIGHTS NOW? DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE 'POWERGEN' WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?

I DON'T THINK SO!'

'FINE!'

THEN THE WIFE ASKS,

'WELL THEN, COULD YOU FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?

IT WON'T CLOSE RIGHT'

TO WHICH HE REPLIED,

'FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?

DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE 'FRIDGIDAIRE'

WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?

I DON'T THINK SO!'

'FINE!' SHE SAYS

'THEN YOU COULD AT LEAST FIX THE STEPS

TO THE FRONT DOOR? THEY ARE ABOUT TO BREAK'

'I'M NOT A CARPENTER AND I DON'T

WANT TO FIX STEPS', HE SAYS, 'DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE 'TAYLOR WOODROW' WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?

I DON'T THINK SO! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS, I'M GOING TO THE PUB!!!!'

SO HE GOES TO THE PUB AND DRINKS FOR A

COUPLE OF HOURS................

HE STARTS TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT HOW

HE TREATED HIS WIFE, AND DECIDES

TO GO HOME

AS HE WALKS INTO THE HOUSE HE NOTICES

THAT THE STEPS ARE ALREADY FIXED.

AS HE ENTERS THE HOUSE , HE SEES THE

HALL LIGHT IS WORKING

AS HE GOES TO GET A BEER, HE NOTICES

THE FRIDGE DOOR IS FIXED.

HONEY, HE ASKS, 'HOW'D ALL THIS GET FIXED?'

SHE SAID, 'WELL, WHEN YOU LEFT I SAT

OUTSIDE AND CRIED. JUST THEN A NICE YOUNG MAN ASKED ME WHAT WAS WRONG, AND I TOLD HIM.

HE OFFERED TO DO ALL THE REPAIRS, AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS EITHER GO TO BED WITH HIM OR BAKE A CAKE.'

HE SAID,

'SO WHAT KIND OF CAKE DID YOU BAKE?'

SHE REPLIED, 'HELLOOOOO.., DO YOU SEE 'MR KIPLING' WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD? I DON'T THINK SO!' Admiral of the PU Hindenburg. 2009 PU Award

Well, I don't feel right recommending sites that I don't care for myself.

As I have never found one that consistently goes to full nude, I am still looking for one I really like.

With that said, I've instructed the reviewers to be more forgiving with image sites that are intended only as image sites.

Too many cons?...Possibly.

That was why I was suggesting it should be moved into the Bottom Line, as it were.

To be even handed, the other side of the coin would be to berate video sites for not providing decent photosets, which doesn't happen & nor should it IMO.

I am not saying the information shouldn't be supplied, of course it should.
I am just saying that the lack of either video or photoset being a plus or a minus should be more in the mind of the reader than the opinion of a reviewer.

Yes, but that doesn't alter the fact that 'No / Few videos' is not a 'con' to a photo lover & vice versa.

This is true, although I have seen 'No / few videos' regularly listed as a con in TBP reviews.

What I am putting forward is that a lack of video or photosets should not be put as a con per se, as that really should be left to the judgement of the reader.
I think the place for info like that is in the Bottom Line.

Hi Robin,

Well some good, some bad. Same as most things in life.

My experience is that there are two distinct types of webmaster.
Those that are focussed on making money & those that want to put out the best material they can.

If you have the former, you might as well move on.
If the latter, at least give them the opportunity to correct any error.

I may be wrong here, but I would put the latter at around 30% of Webmasters.....

Just a guesstimate. ;0)

I would add, don't list 'exclusively video' or 'exclusively pics' as a pro or a con.
Give the information, yes, but as to whether it comes out as a pro or a con is up to the reader.

I always thought it odd you weren't allowed to score a site at under 50.
It might as well start at zero & go up to fifty, it would probably make more sense.
That said I see no real benefit in changing the scoring system.
It is well enough defined.

So far as I am concerned, good natured banter or ribbing is OK.

This is a limited medium, as long as folk accept that there will be the occassional misunderstanding as a result of that, that is fine.
So it is always better to refrain from taking the piss until you 'know' the poster better.

I don't have any issue with Wittyguy's awards as any insults given are obviously tongue in cheek. I always find them well observed, well thought out, well crafted & amusing.

I have always rated this place as 'adult' both in subject & attitude.
It was both a surprise & a disappointment to see what is hopefully a 'blip' of flaming.

Whilst I love a good rant, both as Ranter & sometimes even Rantee ;0), serious flaming is only ever negative to all parties.

So far as I am concerned all constructive serious ( & trivial ) input is welcome from all parties.

Just leave all coshes at the door, please? ;0)

If economy & build quality are high on the list, consider the Audi / VW 3 cyl turbo diesels. I think the VW ones are referred to as Blue Motion.

I have a 2004 Audi A2 1.4 TDI
90 BHP & an all aluminium body make it quite nippy ;0)

It has done over 70,000 miles still returns 55mpg on short runs & no squeaks or rattles.

Still very happy with it.

Well, I may be in the minority, but I prefer photosets.

That is exactly what I find frustrating with OnlyTease.

They are the worst offenders for misusing the term 'nude' too! :0E

I don't want to put words into your mouth, mbaya, but what I think you are experiencing is an appreciation of the almost lost art of striptease! ;0)

Anticipation is the key....

That is why I even appreciate coy nudity as a prelude to more explicit shots.

OnlyTease would be excellent, IF they regularly continued the sets to full nudity...

...and I DO mean nude!

It would be nice if there were a site giving a softcore style of content with natural japanese models though.

Do you know of any?

As RB says, is very comprehensive.
I think that is important for it to be that way, although I doubt all users will find all of it relevant for them.
Different folk are going to find different data important.

Another thing I have seen recently on occasion, which I think is quite a nice variation, are shots of the model handing the clothing to the photographer ( / viewer ;0) )

I would agree that clothing adds colour, but it should be left discarded somewhere in shot, not spoiling our view of lovely nakedness! ;0)

I will let her have make-up on. LOL!

The removal of jewelry can be quite erotic though! ;0)
