Yes, the blame for that is yours. It is your post I quoted.

You don't even read your own posts, it seems.

That post, as with all your posts, it seems, are aggressive, abusive & provocative.

It certainly was a civil place until recent times.

Rather than start yet another thread about it, I'll put my here.

With the lack of activity & the lack of information, I have less & less reason to come back here.

Currently the only activity around here seems to revolve around one thread of very doubtful taste.

Outta here now.

In the days of the Wild West, there was a young cowboy who wanted more than anything to be the Greatest Gunfighter in the world.
He practiced every minute of his spare time, but he knew that he wasn't first-rate yet, thinking there must be something he was doing wrong.

Sitting in a saloon one Saturday night, he recognized an elderly man seated at the bar who had the reputation of being the fastest gun in the West in his day.
The young cowboy took the seat next to the old-timer,
bought him a drink, and told him the story of his great ambition.
"Do you think you could give me some tips?" he asked.

The old man looked him up and down and said, "well, for one thing you're wearing your gun too high, tie the holster a little lower down on your leg."
The young man did as he was told, stood up, whipped out his 44 and shot the bow tie off the piano player.

That's terrific!" said the cowboy,
"Got any more tips for me?"
"Yep," said the old man, "cut a notch out of your holster where the hammer hits it.That'll give you a smoother draw."
The young man took out his knife, cut the notch, stood up, drew his gun in a blur, and shot a cuff link off the piano
player.

"Wow!" said the cowboy, "I'm learnin' somethin' here! Got anymore tips?" The old man pointed to a large can in a corner of the saloon.
"See that grease over there? Coat your gun with it." The young man went over to the can and smeared some of the grease on the barrel of his gun.
"No," said the old-timer, "I mean smear it all over the gun, handle and all."
"Will that make me a better gunfighter?" asked the young man.
"No," said the old timer, "But when Wyatt Earp gets done playin' the piano, he's going to shove that gun up your ass, and it won't hurt as much."

A lot of people do a lot of things that, when asked, they would deny.

This is a prime example of such a potentially embarassing question.

My gut feeling is, the actual figure would really be nearer to 60-70%.

I know it might seem crazy, but talk to them.

We had & still have quite a few in our old Victorian house.
One of them wasn't too keen on us, but calmed down when addressed politely.
By chance, we discovered that this presence was attached to an old Edwardian mangle we had in the out house.
When it went, so did he.
The atmosphere is a lot calmer now.

You have to remember, it was their home before it was yours.

I think the crux of it is, we all need some regular update on the state of play to maintain interest.

Nothing in depth is necessary, just along the lines of:

'We have been working on this or that & will post a teaser of xxxxx soon.'

CT.

Everyone is an individual & labels do suck.

There seems to be an apparent need to categorise everyone & everything.
There are obvious ways & more obscure ways.
I think 'liberals' do have a lot to answer for in the politically correct arena.
Whilst striving to offend none, they end up offending many.

For instance, the term 'colored' or 'coloured'.
A Jamaican friend of mine once said:
'What is it with this 'coloured'?
It means nothing, we are all coloured. I'm black you are white!'

On a related note.

I have never understood why it is perfectly acceptable to watch films depicting mass violence blood, murder, gore & horror; yet it is frowned upon if as much as one naked female breast is shown.

Now that is one totally bizarre concept, that seldom seems to raise an eyebrow!

If I come across a known favourite performer & she is doing something I don't care for, I stop looking & put it out of my mind.

That way I can still enjoy the good on topic material of her.

G, my friend, you really ought to write a book, even if you have to use a ghostwriter.
I am sure many would be only too keen to take it on.
You may have enough material for a trilogy!

If you did go that route, it might be painful therapy, but if you are strong enough, it would allow your demons to be faced & put to rest.

In the shorter term, although your doctor may have misplaced the cause, the effect remains the same.
Try the prescribed medication, I am sure it will help you.

Best regards.

If I were you, my friend, I would try the medication.

Side effects, if any, are variable from individual to individual.

I do hope the benefits in peace of mind & quality of life will more than make up for any possible side effect.

They certainly did for me.

I think a lot of the damage that might be done to our little community is already upon us.

The longer the sites are in hiatus only makes the situation worse IMO.

Even if a few of us won't like the new format, at least it would be something more to provoke discussion.

Not much around here for me these days,

except the company of course.

And a follow up to Question #3:
Does it bother you when a niche site starts to wander into other niches? So a solo girl site starts adding hardcore b/g, such as Twistys as Cybertoad mentioned. Or a straight b/g hardcore site starts into threesome/orgy, if it means less updates of the original intent, due to having the new niche updates? Or does it matter as long as the content is good. Hope that makes sense, haha.

My advice.

Stick to a chosen niche & do it to the best of your ability.

The internet graveyard is littered with sites that started off with a good idea & then tried to be all things to everybody.

You can please some folk all ( most ) of the time, but you can't please all the folk ever!

I think that was just standard internet trolling.

Pay it no mind.

Show me someone who claims never to have made a mistake & I will show you a fool & a liar.

There have been a few webmasters who have been active here in the past. Some were overtly drumming up business, usually along with crony shills, others, like yourself Simarimas, were doing more detailed market research.

In recent times, most of the Webmanager input has tailed off of late, along with general traffic in the forum, until you appeared & gave the forum the shot in the arm it needed, by generating some constructive discussion!

I shall save my more detailed feedback for email but for now I shall just answer the direct questions posed.

I am very much a photo guy.

Quality of content.

Availability of content ( Zip file, preferably user defined custom zip)

Quantity of content.

Update frequency.

Billing Company. ( I have found Zombaiao fine in the past & have no problem with them).

Whilst CCBill is almost the industry standard I REALLY dislike its regional pricing scam, which has more recently been copied by Epoch....Much to my annoyance.

Fans of this genre will likely not be short of suggestions, both for content & method of delivery.

I think you have come to the right place to ask!

Quite the opposite.

It is very refreshing to have a Webmanager show a genuine interest in what their potential customer needs & preferences are.

Even more so if they are prepared to act on it.

There have been others, but they are few & far between & should be actively encouraged.

Indeed.

This forum is just about unique on the internet for being adult about adult concerns.

Which is why I hope at least the forum carries over to any imminent revision of this site.

Consequently my sites usually get listed under different, often inaccurate, categories. Often the closest I can get is "Softcore", but that's rather vague!

That is rich considering all the obscure & bizarre things they do categorise.

I can only hope that the moral support engendered by sharing this with your virtual friends, goes someway to mitigate the suffering & raise your mood.

You have many friends here, G.

Oh and congrats on your millennium!

Good to get some more input from you, Rick & it is pleasing to note that this site is going to be 'archived' rather than deleted.

On a personal level I have doubts about my future level of participation; not so much from the perspective of changes hereabouts; but primarily the dearth of regularly updated on topic websites in my niche.

That said I fully intend to be around for the company.
