I've always hated headphones. I've never really worked out why but wearing them always makes me feel really claustrophobic. I would always go for a decent set of speakers but then I don't have a problem with neighbours being able to hear. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I realise that the topic of this thread is referring to new things from the surfer's point of view, but to offer a webmaster's perspective on 2012, I'm hoping that some confidence and stability returns to the adult market. A lot of the things surfers have been complaining about in 2011 are often due to adult sites having to slash their budget because of falling sales. If the market could recover a little in 2012 it would slowly enhance the content that's being produced as the producers would gradually have more money to spend. Licensed content or non-exclusive content is usually drastically cheaper than custom shot exclusive stuff. I originally opened AMOC using licensed content (it doesn't contain any now), and looking at what is available now it would cost me somewhere in the region on 10-15% as much as the exclusive stuff I shoot now. Bonus sites are one of those features that sound good in the tour. Webmasters like to appear to be offering more for your membership fee and don't forget that many customers are first-time purchasers and don't know any better. I've just turned 40 and I'm beginning to feel the same way, messmer. My daughter has just started highschool (11) so by the time I am fifty, a twenty year old model will literally be younger than my daughter. I don't feel at ease with that, and that's a turn off in itself. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

The sad thing is not only that botox removes the ability to have expressions, but that when people have used it once they usually seem to go on to have it used on more and more of their face until they don't look human anymore. I guess it all comes down to insecurity in the end. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I've never seen I Spy (Or even heard of it beyond the kids game of the same name), but I watched a repeat of the Saint recently and I have to say that it hasn't aged particularly well. It had Roger Moore playing the Saint, but I'm sure I remember a different guy playing that role. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I wish they would get around to remaking "Blake's 7". I remember watching it as a kid and it beat the pants of Star Trek (original Trek, not so much the newer incarnations). I bought the 1st two series on DVD recently and the script writing was excellent. Shame the special effects weren't so good. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I've never got the whole interracial idea. Over the past few years it seems to be more of a US "fetish" than European, but aren't mixed race couples just as much the norm in the US as over here? There just isn't much novelty in the "interracial" thing here I guess. I would rate it one the same level as the blonde or brunette thing. You're right messmer, it can be a form of racism. And I remember back at school that the guy with the smallest cock in the locker room was a black guy, so the assumed difference certainly isn't always true. Here in the UK the act of prostitution isn't illegal at all (and I don't believe it is across most of Europe either), but soliciting on the street is. Therefore you can be arrested for initiating the transaction if the prostitute is touting for business in a public place, but paying or being paid for sex is absolutely fine otherwise. I don't understand why prostitution would be illegal in the US, seems rather odd. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

The only time I use 1280 now is when e-mailing personal photos to family/friends. It's high enough res to give a good photo but small enough to be fast to work well via e-mail. Also if I send stuff which is too large to some of my older relatives they complain that they can't see the whole photo! For professional/work use, it just has to be 2000+. I would be weary of buying a second-hand or reconditioned harddrive. You've got to wonder why they are being resold? Maybe I'm being paranoid there, but datastorage isn't something I would take risks with. I'd consider a 2nd hand monitor, speakers or printer, but not HDD. In my experience most women actively care more about what other women think of their look than what men prefer. Most women seem to aim for no bottom, hidden nipple shape, no VPL and neat hair. Most men I talk to prefer a round bottom, visible nipple shapes, VPL and hair that looks more like it has seen a little action. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

Memberships are definitely better value, by a huge margin. What I find weird is that most of my sales on Clips4Sale seem to come from people visiting by website (StripGameCentral) and then following the links to Clips4Sale. I really don't know what is going on in their heads, but if they are happy doing that, I am happy to provide both options. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

I've never got a consistent response when it comes to picture size. I've been offering 2048 pixels as standard on my photo sites for a long time now. I've often held polls asking about preferred photo sizes but opinions vary massively. Personally I think less than 1280 isn't acceptable these days, but more than about 3000 gets impractical, so I guess a couple of variations between the two is the way to go. The funny scam I saw this year was am e-mail claiming to be from the Nigerian government, offering to pay compensation to those who had been scammed. All they have to do is send their identification and bank details... I guess the idea was if someone was daft enough to get scammed once, then they are more likely to fall for it again. I've had several copies of that New York speeding ticket. The scammers have been getting more and more adept at making themselves untraceable, and of course if they are based in a country which does not subscribe to international laws, or has extradition treaties with other countries, then what can authorities in the US or UK etc. actually do about it? My sites use CCBill so you always know you can reliably cancel with no problems, but I also offer single month non-recurring members too, so you don't even have to worry about cancelling. However because of a few dodgy sites the good guys can make all the assurances in the world and a proportion of visitors will not believe us, no matter what. It depresses me to think how many sales I probably miss out on because of a general distrust of adult sites. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

That would be good to find a UK equivalent. I used Clips4Sale currently to sell clips to those people who want to see my site's content but don't (for whatever reason) want to sign up for a membership. Because of C4S high minimum prices and the large cut they take it works out as a much more expensive way to get my videos, but lots of people still use it. I have all my videos there set to the minimum price but I would still prefer to cut the prices by another 40-45%. If there was a UK equivalent I would jump at the chance to use it (assuming its % and terms were reasonable. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity. I know some people like viewing porn on their phone because it's more private (or at least feels like it is). If you share your computer with your partner/spouse and don't want them to know it can be tricky to download and keep stuff like that without being discovered. However most couples will have a mobile phone each so the chance of that video collection being discovered feels much smaller. On top of that, with phones screens getting larger and higher res on average, and storage getting larger and larger viewing porn is getting easier on them. Most decent smartphones also have storage card slots - keep your porn on there and it disappears from your phone when you eject the card. It's easy to hide a mini/micro SD card in your wallet, leaving your phone totally porn clear. And then there's the versatility of it. I knew one guy a couple of years ago who used to go into the office toilets with porn of his phone to "relax" for a while when he was stressed - you can't do that with a 20+ inch monitor! I'm in the early stages of starting a new one that fulfils the first two, but C I miss. My girls are going to be in the 20-40 (mostly 20-35) age group. I'm just hoping there is enough demand out there. From my experience I'm not convinced it's a good idea putting photos and video on the same site. He is mid 80s, but I know of a few people in their 50s and 60s with tattoos that seem to have lost most of the red and blue shades and have lost definition. One guy is a bit of a fitness fanatic and in very good shape, but his tattoo (just above his elbow) is very faded and greenish. I spoke to him about it yesterday and he says he got it about 35 years ago. He reckoned that very few tattoos keep their clarity more than 20-30 years (but he's not an expert on such things). Most, if not all, the very old tattoos I see seem to fade to a slightly blurred dark green colour. Is that just a side effect of the inks they used decades ago, or do all tattoos go like that? CCbill always allows customers to cancel their own recurring subscriptions. Any attempt by the site to block/hide that would cause a suspension of their CCBill account. Obviously my backup is a business necessity so may be done somewhat more seriously than the average user, but I keep my duplicated HDDs at another address, in another town. One of the two archives is stored in a fire-resistant safe. I hope the chances of me losing anything is neglible. My biggest fear really is backup media deteriorating with age and failing with me knowing about it. Cloud storage worries me, and until upload speeds start to match download speeds I don't see it as viable yet anyway. My upload speed is only 1/8th of the download rate so uploading TBs of data just isn't viable. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

Hmm, whilst it does look fishy, I often link to any new reviews I get on any website and that will make many of my regulars go to take a look. If they disagree with the review quite a few of them get quite vocal and post comments, ratings or user reviews accordingly - often all appearing with a few hours. That's not my intention and as a webmaster I don't have control over that. I never give incentives. I would be worried that it would also look dodgy? Is encouraging (without incentives) members to write reviews actually dodgy? The other problem is the reviews could all be written by staff members of the site? I don't know where you could draw the line there? I suspect it will have to be up the readers to decide? I don't see how you can actually effectively police against that sort of thing without catching the innocent too? Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.

If only more people thought like that. As far as I know many of the online auction sites do pass details of dodgy traders on to trading standards or the Police, but those agencies simply do not have the resources to investigate all of the cases (or even most of them). They tend to go after the larger operations when they are within their jurisdiction, but most cases don't even get looked at. Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity.
