Hi there used to be a regular active contributor to the site. Work and studying commitments have meant I've had little free time, but also so many of the sites I used to review no longer are listed, or new sites I find never seem to be. Hello Tom. I hope a new admin will give this place a bit of a lift as I'm afraid it's way less busy than it used to be and I get the feeling it's slowly dying, which I would hate as I used to love this site. If you could please take a look at the "Sites not listed" thread, virtually none of the suggested sites are available months or years after being suggested. Fair enough some couldn't be listed and we were told why, but other suggestions have been ignored or we've been told they're "looking into it" but nothing happens. | |

I appreciate that if a site is basically a channel on a wider network, it might seem fairer on the surface to score lower and/or not enter in the raffle. On the other hand, I usually join a site/network based on one specific site. The other sites might be nice bonuses but without the main site/channel I am reviewing I simply wouldn't join that network at all. I have joined a specific site which gave me bonus access to other sites which I haven't even looked at, because the content just doesn't interest me. Porn Users isn't for the casual porn user who will be going on free tube sites anyway and is pretty much content with any old porn. It's for people really into porn who have specific tastes and are willing to pay for quality content. Without this type of user the porn industry would collapse - we're the people who pay for the porn to be made that other people often get to watch free. If I'm considering joining a site which is just a channel of another site, it's still that specific site I am interested in. If I can't find a review of it, then reviews on the network in general or other channels aren't of any use to me. So if people are put off reviewing a site because they won't get any or much credit for it or a chance of winning a prize, they're less likely to review it and ultimately Porn Users will be the site which is worse of for it, as it will have less reviews and cover less sites. To be honst PU already has less reviews, less interaction and less content than it used to. It's lost a lot of users, traffic and community feel. So many sites that used to be listed here aren't anymore. This change in policy will only make that worse - and someone who is not aware of the policy and realises a review they worked hard on isn't got to get them any credit they are going to e upset and leave the site, especially if they are new members, and new members is what the site badly needs. I still like PU but it's not the site it was and as a result I come here less and review less. I have to say as well it isn't the staffs fault if the have lots of other sites to run but they often seem to have abandond the site, with comments and questions on the forum either ignored completely or taking weeks to be answered. So when I find a new topic open to discuss how the site is going to downgrade certain reviews, it feels kind of weird that the staff will open new threads to give bad news but not use that time to answer questions or give us positive news or ask for positive feedback or ideas. I hate to complain but I do find this thread depressing and I hate to see PU declining, and this policy will make things worse. Edited on Oct 19, 2019, 07:25am | |

Thank you for the update. I had to look up FOSTA/SESTA but I was surprised - if you look at boysforsale it's clearly just a standard porn site which has a fantasy aspect of sex workers. It doesn't actually feature escorts/prostitutes you can actually hire. I'm pretty sure you list lots of sites which refer to hookers etc. which are just standard porn fantasy sites. Still if you still think it could get the site into legal trouble, okay. Could I suggest a few more please? I mainly watch gay porn as a gay man though certain straight site salso appeal to me and I really enjoy being part of the PU community and reading all reviews. I've always been made very welcome by the users. I can only agree with MBaya here - I'm delighted if the site would like to encourage more gay members, but there are a lot of gay sites which aren't listed. I have contributed to the latest "sites not listed" thread and I hope more can be added, because I drifted away from PU when a lot of the gay sites I used to review seemed to disappear and suggestions for new sites were either not acknowledged at all but acknowledged and nothing came of it. The key to attracting and keeping members of any sexuality or sex is simply good communication from the site staff, and that has been variable in PU history from excellent to poor at different times. It would also be nice if some of the polls could acknowledge not all users are straight males. I appreciate the vast majority are and I have no issue at all with polls which reflect that, but for example the one on the page at the moment asking what age of female model you prefer could easily have just asked for an age of model without specifying that they had to be women. Where it's possible for polls to be inclusive of both sexes it would be good - though as I say of course the vast majority here are straight men and no issue with polls aimed at them which can't be adapted to include everyone. | |

I haven't reviewed for a while, but so many of the sites I wrote reviews for are sadly no longer listed, and I can't seem to get any that appeal to me listed. I love PU but the gay sites listed here generally are a little too mainstream and run-of-the-mill for me. | |

Hey guys I download from a lot of sites which release movies in short scenes, and lately they have been including trailers for other sites in the download too. Needless to say this drives me nuts, but the content is so good I stick with them. Is there a way I can edit my download videos to "stitch" the scenes together into one video? I don't want to breach copyright or anything, just get rid of the annoying trailers and put the scenes I have paid for into one movie so I don't have to keep opening seperate files all the time. I use Windows 7 and Windows 10 as I have two laptops. Any assistance/advice appreciated. | |

I've had a long e-mail conversation with a manager at the bill paying support site and I think we understand each other points of view better now. I think I was a little naive about how these things work, and I think they didn't understand that they were dealing with someone who has been buying porn for years and never had an issue like this before and so panicked. So I'm going to edit this thread to reflect that and I have also edited my comment on the site itself. Sorry to all here I guess I panicked and I knew I could get some advice from my friends at PU! I was going through my old DVD and VHS porn tapes the other day - I still have hundreds - and I found the VHS case but not the tape for a really hot movie, "Animus" by All Worlds Video. I've managed to find it on DVD on a site which supplies the UK market, but I wondered if I could legally download it instead and I have so many DVDs and even VHS already I don't want any more. Does anyone know of a legal site which allows you to download DVDs from mainstream studios for a fee to keep? I tried Googling but all it gives me is illegal download sites and I don't want to use them. It's quite an old movie so it might not be available for download but I'd like to try. | |
