Agree, Squirrel - another fine reply from the Khan. Also I agree: Why should Rick and his co. reveal their bussiness structure/model. They live by it, I guess - and besides, they made a fine deal for us PUs here in our never ending hunt for good PORN. This movie I've seen since my highschool days - then on VHS-tape and now DVD - I still enjoy speciel scenes and can see them over and over. Especially the scene where Steiger and Sidney Poitier first meet in Steigers office (and Steiger do not know Poitier is a policeman) - that dialog may be the best ever - Norman Jewison was a genious. Agree - Rod Steiger does a great job in that movie - I think Steiger here is at his top (remember him saying the "Okay" in that very special way?) I think it's interesting how a site like TBP makes a living - since I do not know anything about the economy-deals in this bussiness - is TBP willing to tell us? Is it sponsorship, is it income based on how many PUs join via TBP or what. I was also thinking about - sorry, this may be a typical scandinavian thing: Why is TBP so heavy into this and with the lot of work that the very special deal as PU also has to create? Not for our blue eyes. Of course TBP has to make money - it's not free to run a site like that and TBP is probably not a humanitarian deal -:) But compared to most - no all - the others similar sites Porninspector, Rabbits and so on, I've never seen such fast and regular respons to inputs from webmasters as here at PU. By all means, PU themselves (ourselves) has been bulding this up for quite some time. But give it to especially Khan - and Rick too - these guys are also making this place worth while, but just this one - I think rather innocent question: Appart from the fact that I think all of this also is fun for you: What is your foremost income here? Fellow PUs: - this could be a poll instead - but it's more realistic this way, so this question: PU or Pornsites? Which takes most of your time dealing with this matter (porn in general). The reason I ask is that more and more time from this user is spend with a lot of fun here at PU - whereas for - let's say half a year ago - the overwhelming majority of "porn-time" was spend at regular pornsites and/or browsing for it. Lately there's (normally) not a day without checking TBP/PU, whereas some of the sites that I'm a member of at this moment can be skipped for a day or two - at least... To both roseman and jd: When I deal with CCBill and my cancels, I always use the most easy way which (I)think is the creditcardnumber and your primary e-mail adress - then you do not have to remember which sites you've joined lately. I'm certainly with pat. Maybe I'm naive, but I believe most users here give an honest score, an honest review to the benefit of all - if NOT - we got an after all fine trust-system that says most (except the anonymous). But I'm also with TheSquirrel about the sometimes "strange" difference between TBP-reviews/scores and PU-scores. That do not mean I do not trust TBP - on the contrary - I still consider the TBP-scores as the first guideline in my search for new stuff/sites. And after that it's always great to wait for PUs - or come up with a review yourself. But bottomline: it's VERY rare that a TBP score is way-off - I got to hand that to our hosts. We all got different views for almost every site - exampel: see the latest from jd1961 for Sex Asian 18 - and all the replys. Another bottomline is that this user depend on new PUs and their reviews untill the opposite has been proved - But ok, good sceptisism is always at place... I've had this strange experience from CCBill lately. All here knows how to cancel via CCBill - it's easy and it's working - normally. BUT lately they have changed the order of which your status of a certain membership is placed at your CCBill account, like this: Before all your memberships were placed in order of the date for joining - that way you can always see what your latest membership/account is - at the top. But now I've experienced - several times - that I have to run through all my earlier memberships (at this point over 40) - and suddenly find the latest way down in the middle or futher back. Is this a scheme of luring - you forget what you signed up to when it's NOT at the top of your CCBill account. Well, Epoch is not that devious, yet... Not supprisingly to most here, I totally agree with the Drooler about TeenDreams. Over the years this site has delivered some of the best soft (and HC) videos (and photosets, by all means) of euro/easterneuro girls/models - even if most of it is not exclusive, but a "joint venture". I'd also say Babes.tv which have some very fine exclusive videos. Generally the tip-system is much different here - and certainly not as much as 15-20 % (it's not an importent income source, at all) - in bars or restaurants its fine and only "somewhat" expected that you "round up" a bit like say if the bill for a meal is: 575 kroner (in a restaurant) (about $ 110) you could tip another 25 kroner (about $5) - in bars a couple of $. Taxi-drivers do not expect any tip exept if they help large suitcases - it's normally about $5 extra, but no real tip... Both messmer and Wittyguy has come up with some views that kind of give me a point that I'm not entirely off the track - thanks for that. Of course it's a far fetched hope that these few views on the matter will have any influence on the porn-videos in the future. Been wondering about this for quite some time: WHY does almost every US pornvid (and even now a lot of euro ditto) has to end up with socalled facials. Off Topic: Well, your brother and sister-in-law have to look forward to a bit of a chilly period here in Scandinavia - about 5-8 degrees Celsius. But anyway Copenhagen is normally a peacefull and very safe place to visit: 1) They should take a stroll down Stroget - a great non-car street between Kongens Nytorv (The King Square) and Radhuspladsen (Town Hall Square) 2) They should visit Graabrodre Torv - a small a peacefull square with cosy bars and restaurants - and close to The Kings Castle "Amalienborg" down by the harbour. 3)Christiania - a very speciel "free community" where people since 1972 has lived for free with free hash and things like that - it's quite safe in the daytime 4) There are some great lunch-restaurants with exellent danish "smorebrod" where it's easy to get "a little drunk" from beer and snaps - they have to try it: These are the best: Tivolihallen Told og Snaps Cafe Petersborg (They all have web-sites) 5) When in Copenhagen they should take the train (fine ride along the coast) to the town of Helsingore (approx 1 hour) and visit Hamlets castle "Kronborg" and of course the old town here - also with good restaurants. 6) A place called Nyhavn - by the harbour is very popular with great walks along the harbour and some fine bars and restaurants. I'll get back when/if new ideas come up. Good luck to your familys visit. And tell them, most danes speak fine english...they will not have problems on that subject. First I like the "hit and run" thing mentioned by Toadsith. The reason is obvious: Join a site, pay and rip what they got - and then cancel. Is that not the meaning of it all - EXCEPT for some very fine sites, maybe. I started this thing - together with Pink Panther, by all means - and and still think it's importend from the users point of view. It's NOT a matter of: "Ask not what your website can do for you, but what you can do for your website" We're paying costumers! BTW: Got this reply from the webmaster at 21Sextury where he - damon21 - states that all will get access to 30+ sites with one subscription - well, that was certainly NOT the case when I first joined this socalled deal - ok, I do not remember the exact amount, but it was more likely 20 or less and NOT a matter of choise - I could not even choose the next site after the two or more months "Loyalty". First: Please see Pink Panthers input about Club Sandy and Pix and Video. And my reply - and others. Most PUs know about the socalled deal from the motherload-co.: 21 Sextury (based in Gibraltar, BTW). The first times I joined outside Pix and Video, I was almost astonished about all the stuff I'd get by joining one site. But when reality comes around the amout of sites you get access to is/seems much less than what they promiss - UNLESS you keep paying up.. Is that luring on false pretence or what? Every time I join a site where the billing-co. is not CCBill or Epoch, I make sure of ways to cancel - thoroughly.. Copy a link to cancel or write down the link... I like this thread - WHY? Because I've sometimes wondered myself - AND I think I remember we've been aorund this item before - somehow, anyway... I tend to collect too! And I'm fond of my collections - and, by golly - to visit these collections once in a while... But the best part of porn-search will always be: Finding something new and exiting!!! VLC is probably the best media player around (free or to buy)and this is totally free. It's dammed easy to use, always reliable and much faster to start up with than WMP... And yes, it's possible to ajust video-effects. BUT one thing though, Toadsith: I have not been able to locate any "file-assosiation" after installing - any idea?
