Porn stars are normal people, with a sense of artistic integrity. Here is one young porn star who refuses to do a scene because it apparently lacks moral value. Good for the young porn star, for standing up to the director's demands. I believe the porn star is past the age of consent, but I could be wrong. Avoid watching, if this scene offends your moral standards. The porn star is a cutie, and her soft pleas for understanding melt my heart. ------------ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWXKmbCh6Kc

Ukrainian fitness influencer dies from COVID after denying it exists nypost.com October 19, 2020 | 8:52am | Updated Ukrainian fitness influencer dies from COVID after denying it exists By Yaron Steinbuch A Ukrainian fitness influencer with 1.1 million followers on Instagram has died of the coronavirus – after previously doubting the existence of the deadly bug, according to reports. Dmitriy Stuzhuk, a buff 33-year-old who promoted healthy living, notified his fans of his diagnosis from his hospital bed, saying he woke up with breathing difficulties during a trip to Turkey and developed a cough the following day, the Sun reported. He was tested after returning to Ukraine and was diagnosed with the illness. “I was one who thought that COVID does not exist… until I got sick,” Stuzhuk wrote on Instagram. “COVID-19 IS NOT A SHORT-LIVED DISEASE! And it is heavy.” He added that his condition was “stable.” “The hospital is completely filled with people, some of them being treated in corridors,” wrote Stuzhuk, who was allowed to leave the hospital after eight days but was rushed back soon after. His ex-wife Sofia Stuzhuk, 25, the mother of his three kids, later announced that he was in “grave condition” and unconscious, according to the news outlet. “Dima (Dmitriy) had problems with his cardiovascular system… His heart is not coping,” she wrote on Instagram, where she has 5 million followers. “His state is extremely grave. No one can do anything with this. I did everything I could so the father of my three children lives. But nothing depends on me now,” she added before announcing his death. The couple — whose youngest child is just 9 months old — broke up six months ago amid “constant betrayal, cursing, showdown and stress” but recently said they were back on good terms. “Only warm memories remain, three beautiful kids and valuable experience,” Sofia wrote. “God, it is so terrible to realize that he is not with us anymore…”

Oct 24, 2020 8:38am PT variety.com James Bond Film ‘No Time to Die’ Explored $600 Million Sale to Streaming Services By Brent Lang, Matt Donnelly Apple, Netflix and other streaming services explored the possibility of acquiring “No Time to Die,” the upcoming James Bond movie that was originally slated to debut last April. The film’s release has been postponed multiple times, with the Daniel Craig vehicle moving back to November before being pushed into 2021 as the number of coronavirus cases kept growing. MGM, the studio behind the film, reportedly lost between $30 million to $50 million due to the delays, insiders said. Bloomberg first reported the discussions, which have been the topic du jour in Hollywood this week. Other studios, such as Paramount and Sony, have raked in tens of millions by selling movies like “Greyhound,” “Coming 2 America” and “Without Remorse” to streaming services while the exhibition sector continues to struggle during the pandemic. “We do not comment on rumors. The film is not for sale. The film’s release has been postponed until April 2021 in order to preserve the theatrical experience for moviegoers,” an MGM spokesperson told Variety. However, multiple insiders at rival studios and companies said that a possible Bond sale was explored overtly, and believe that MGM was at least open to the possibility of unloading their crown jewel for a princely sum. The studio was said to be looking for a deal of roughly $600 million — a price tag that was deemed too rich for two of the free-spending streaming services. A sale of this magnitude would be led exclusively by Kevin Ulrich, the chairman and CEO of MGM’s majority owner Anchorage Capital Group, insiders said. It’s unclear if producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who exert control of the series through their company Eon, would sign off on the deal. Universal Pictures, which has foreign distribution rights to “No Time to Die,” would have to be made whole in any possible sale and reimbursed for any expenses the studio incurred. That the parties involved would explore a streaming sale is notable, given that the film was the first tentpole to move release dates before coronavirus was upgraded to a global pandemic — making it an early indicator that even the iconic spy and ladies man would not save us from the viral event. Moving “No Time to Die” to a streaming service poses some logistical challenges. The film costs more than $250 million to produce and has lined up several promotional partnerships to help defray those costs — including Land Rover, Omega watches and Heineken. Those companies may have been expecting the film to hit theaters and might not be thrilled with a streaming-only bow. “Coming 2 America’s” sale to Amazon, for instance, was contingent on making sure that its promotional partners, McDonald’s and Crown Royal, were on board with the change in plans.

If not for Donald Trump, the most stable genius the world has ever known, a hundred times smarter than Einstein and Newton put together, the US would have had 700,000 to 800,000 deaths. But Trump has kept the US death toll to about 200,000, by ignoring the fake advice he was getting from such "health experts" as Fauci and others. Re-elect Donald Trump, the savior of America. He will make America great again. And he will make the fuckers in Canada and Mexico pay for our new border walls, or he will bomb them into the Hell, which is where they belong if they don't listen to Trump, our glorious Commander-In-Chief, who has his fingers on the triggers of many Megatons of the most powerful nuclear weapons in the world today. Canadians: you have been warned. Mexicans: you have been warned. Muslims and other foreign threats: No warning needed. You will be destroyed once Trump is re-elected. ------- ------- Trump rails against 'disaster' Fauci on campaign staff call Yahoo News Christopher Wilson Oct 19th 2020 1:13PM President Trump railed against Dr. Anthony Fauci during a call Monday morning, calling him and a “disaster” who has “been here for 500 years.” According to multiple reporters listening in on a campaign staff call two weeks out from Election Day, Trump said that people were tired of coronavirus mitigation efforts. He also claimed, without evidence, that if the administration had listened to Fauci, one of the nation’s premier infectious disease experts and the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, “we’d have 700,00, 800,000 deaths.” “People are tired of COVID. I have these huge rallies. People are saying, ‘Whatever. Just leave us alone.’ They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots,” Trump said, adding, “Fauci is a nice guy. He’s been here for 500 years.” While Americans are certainly tired of COVID-19, polling shows a majority are committed to taking precautions to try and reduce its spread. According to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, 67 percent say it should be mandatory to wear a mask in public. Another 60 percent said Trump was not following the advice of medical experts closely enough. A National Geographic/Morning Consult poll taken earlier in October also found that 74 percent of Americans said they always wear a mask when leaving their home. Trump’s handling of the pandemic, which has killed more than 219,000 Americans and resulted in the president himself being hospitalized earlier this month, has been criticized since the coronavirus appeared early this year. The Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that 59 percent of respondents said the president underestimated the risks. “Every time [Fauci] goes on television there’s always a bomb, but there’s a bigger bomb if you fire him,” Trump added. “This guy’s a disaster." The war of words between Fauci and Trump intensified last week after Fauci asked that a Trump campaign ad that featured the doctor’s words being used out of context to praise the president be taken down. Fauci told the Daily Beast of the ad, “By doing this against my will they are, in effect, harassing me. Since campaign ads are about getting votes, their harassment of me might have the opposite effect of turning some voters off.” Trump was aware of the possibility reporters were listening in on the call and noted, “If there’s a reporter on, you can have it just the way I said it, I couldn’t care less.” The president has started campaigning more over the last week as polling shows him behind Democratic nominee Joe Biden both nationally and in key swing states. Trump also implied on the call that some unknown scandal was about to damage Biden, leaving him an “impotent” candidate, and that the former vice president should be in prison. The president, who spent the 2016 campaign leading “Lock her up” chants aimed at then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, has a history of insisting his opponents should be incarcerated. The president concluded the call by telling staffers, “Get off this phone and work your asses off because we are going to win.”

The good thing about the pushout is that, hopefully, the pandemic should be over by October 2021. And that going to a movie theater should be safe by Oct 2021. Other than that, this is just another sign that the virus will be with us for a much longer period than originally stated, then revised, then revised again and again. Who do you trust? The short answer: nobody. Politicians are shielded by the law from false and misleading claims. US death toll from the corona virus so far in 2020: 210K. Way to go, Trump. You're doing a great job. You criticized Obama for 12K deaths from the swine flu. But Trump's numbers are much higher. And he keeps saying what a wonderful job he did protecting the American people. ------- ------- ‘Dune’ Drifting Away From December To October 2021 05 October 2020 by Anthony D'Alessandro Deadline ‘Dune’ Drifting Away From December To October 2021 We’re hearing that Warner Bros. release of Legendary’s Dune is no longer going on Dec. 18, rather Oct. 1, 2021. Many in distribution land always believed it was too good to be true for Warners to keep two major tentpoles –one a franchise starter, the other a franchise sequel– within days of each other, given P&A spend, especially with Wonder Woman 1984 still set for Christmas Day. The news comes in the wake of Cineworld and Regal closing. Exhibitors were informed by the studio to push out Dune materials during Tenet‘s early September debut, which included a teaser trailer as well as the official trailer dropping for the Denis Villeneuve reboot of the Frank Herbert novel; the last version being in 1984, directed by David Lynch. Villeneuve’s version of Dune stars Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgard, Javier Bardem and Charlotte Rampling among many others.

The newest James Bond film has a delayed new release date, April 2021. Although the film has been delayed, I've read that the corona virus pandemic is a hoax from China and the US Democratic Party. Why should we have to wait to see the film at the local movie theater, if, as President Bonespurs has stated, the virus is really a hoax by the Chinese and the Democratic Party? And why has our glorious President hidden himself away at Walter Reed Hospital, after stating numerous times that the virus is a hoax? Also, why has President Bonespurs started wearing a mask, when he has stated a number of times, that wearing a mask is a voluntary decision, and that people don't really need masks? Has our glorious president changed his mind about wearing a mask? ------ ------ James Bond Film 'No Time To Die' Delays Release to April 2021 Amid Ongoing Pandemic 1:00 PM PDT 10/2/2020 by Pamela McClintock , Alex Ritman The 25th title in the 007 franchise became the first Hollywood tentpole to become a casualty of the COVID-19 crisis when its original April 2020 release date was pushed back to November. James Bond pic No Time To Die is delaying its November 2020 release to spring 2021 amid the challenges posed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the filmmakers announced Friday. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the 25th installment in the iconic spy franchise had been set to open Nov. 12 in the U.K. and Nov. 20 in the U.S. It will now open on April 2, 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. MGM, Eon Productions and Universal had been intent on sticking to the November rollout but were finally forced to shift course because of continued challenges facing the box office, including cinema closures in certain top markets and re-closures in others. Friday's announcement is another blow for cinema owners, who say they need new Hollywood tentpoles to ignite a recovery. However, as it stands now, the marquee will be noticeably lean in terms of all-audience event pics until Christmas when Wonder Woman 1984 opens. Bond's move comes after fellow 2020 fall event pics Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow delayed their early October and early November releases, respectively. Black Widow was among a number of pics that Disney moved, although Pixar's Soul is still slotted for Nov. 20. Earlier this year, No Time to Die became the first Hollywood tentpole to become a casualty of the COVID-19 crisis when its original April 2020 release date was pushed back to November. The film — marking Daniel Craig’s final turn as 007 — also stars Bond returnees Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Christoph Waltz, along with franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch. Billie Eilish has recorded the title track. MGM is handling No Time to Die domestically via United Artists Releasing, while Universal has international distribution duties. "MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year," a statement read.

Variety Sep 29, 2020 9:50pm PT Mac Davis, the singer-songwriter who parlayed pop and country hits into a network TV variety show and acting career, has died. He was 78. His manager of nearly four decades, Jim Morey, announced Davis’ death on Facebook Tuesday night. “He was a music legend but his most important work was that as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend,” Morey wrote. “I will miss laughing about our many adventures on the road and his insightful sense of humor.” The Country Music Association later confirmed the news. Country superstar Kenny Chesney offered his tribute to Davis, saying, “I met Mac as a young artist just starting out on my journey, when he was already a legend and a songwriting hero to me. He welcomed me into his home, and turned that tremendous creative light on me. Even though he’d written ‘In The Ghetto’ for Elvis and had so many incredible hits of his own, he made me feel like what I was doing mattered. A small town boy who’d achieved the greatest kinds of fame, he remained a good guy, a family man. That was Mac: a giant heart, quick to laugh and a bigger creative spirit. I was blessed to have it shine on me. And Mac, who was joyous, funny and created a family around him, never stopped writing great songs, creating music and inspiring everyone around him. He loved his wife Lisa and his kids, and all kinds of people. He kept in touch, always a kind word, a new joke or a piece of song he was working on, which made him a blessing to everyone who came into his life.” Davis became known as the songwriter behind the Elvis Presley hits “In the Ghetto,” “A Little Less Conversation” and “Memories” before reaching No. 1 himself on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Baby, Don’t Get Hooked on Me” in 1971. He soon parlayed his pop success into a career based more in country music. Davis was named entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 1974 and was nominated for that same title the same year by the Country Music Association. Davis’ sex appeal and easy charm made him a favorite on the talk show circuit, and he was rewarded with his own NBC variety series, “The Mac Davis Show,” from 1974-76, followed by annual network Christmas specials that spanned well into the ’80s. He even had a brief span as a leading man in feature films, peaking right out of the gate as Nick Nolte’s fellow leading man in the 1979 football drama “North Dallas Forty.” After that successful kickoff to his acting career, Davis was less successful as a solo romantic lead in 1981’s “Cheaper to Keep Her” and as a card shark opposite Jackie Gleason in the ill-fated “The Sting II,” which carried over none of the cast from the original film. After those two theatrical flops, Davis moved on mostly to appearing in TV movies and episodic shows, from “Webster” and “Lois & Clark” to a five-episode voice acting run on “King of the Hill” as Sheriff Buford and “Sports Jock.” HIs last screen role was as Reverend Riggs in 2019’s “Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings,” the show produced by Parton, his friend and fellow country star of many decades. Davis has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He was enlisted by the Country Music Association as co-host of the org’s annual awards show, with Barbara Mandrell, in the years 1980-82. “Today our country community lost an amazing entertainer, songwriter and artist,” said Sarah Trahern, the CMA’s CEO. “I remember watching Mac’s TV show as a kid as well as his three years co-hosting the CMA Awards with Barbara Mandrell, which proved his command of the TV medium as well as the music. Personally, though, I am saddened to recall a wonderful day spent with Mac and his wife Lise Gerard at our CMA Songwriters Series show at the Library of Congress just a few years ago. He held command of the room backstage with lively stories and a genuine love of the craft of storytelling. When he performed “In the Ghetto” that night, fellow songwriter Pam Tillis pointed out that sadly the song is as pertinent today as it was when Mac wrote it in the late 1960s. His timeless artistry will be sorely missed.” His roots as a songwriter were celebrated when the publishing rights organization BMI gave him its lifetime achievement honor, the Icon award, at its annual Nashville-based country awards show in 2015. Davis played with Nancy Sinatra on stage and on record in the late 1960s, and it was her publishing company, Boots, that published the hits he wrote for Presley. After “Baby Don’t Get Hooked on Me,” Davis had three more singles reach the top 20 in 1974-75: “One Hell of a Woman,” “Stop and Smell the Roses” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll (I Gave You the Best Years of My Life).” Among those, “Roses” reached No. 9 on the Hot 100 and went to No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart. Ironically, although he would ultimately become best known as a country singer, he struck out in that format throughout the ’70s and didn’t have a real hit in the genre until he scored four top 10 hits in a row in 1980-81, with “It’s Hard to Be Humble,” “Let’s Keep It That Way,” “Texas in My Rearview Mirror” and “Hooked on Music,” his biggest country hit at No. 2. His sixth and last country top 10 hit, “I Never Made Love (Til I Made It With You),” arrived in 1985. His last album, “Will Write Songs for Food,” came out in 1994 and featured a duet with Dolly Parton as well as recreations of past songwriting triumphs like “In the Ghetto.” Davis had recently taped an episode of “Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal Podcast” in which he discussed the breadth of his career in Hollywood and Nashville; it premiered last month.

A hacker published thousands of students' grades and private information after a Nevada school district refused to pay ransom. Why didn't the FBI or the cybersecurity experts shut down the online hacker forums? Maybe they were too busy taking a coffee break, or planning their next weekend vacation. The leaked information included students' names, social security numbers, addresses, and some financial information, and were published on an online hacker forum this week, a cybersecurity analyst told Business Insider. Cybersecurity experts and law enforcement agencies — including the FBI — say targets should avoid paying ransom at all costs in order to put hackers out of business. It's better to have your credit card data released online, and your identity stolen, opening you up to having your bank and credit accounts stolen, instead of paying off these cyber criminals. That's what the FBI says. Contact the FBI and your local law enforcement if your credit cards and other financial records are hacked. They are on your side. And will hold your hand while the thieves steal your money. The FBI, guardians of the public safety of US citizens. ------- ------- A hacker published grades and personal information of thousands of Las Vegas students after school district officials refused to pay a ransom in exchange for the information. The leaked information included students' names, social security numbers, addresses, and some financial information, and were published on an online hacker forum this week, a cybersecurity analyst told Business Insider. Las Vegas' Clark County School District announced earlier this month that some of its files were compromised by a hacker using ransomware and that law enforcement was investigating. Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories. Last month, Las Vegas' largest public school district announced that a hacker compromised some of its files using ransomware and was holding the files hostage while demanding a ransom payment. Now, a hacker has published files containing students' grades and personal information after school district officials refused to pay the ransom. Brett Callow, a threat analyst with cybersecurity firm Emsisoft, told Business Insider that he discovered leaked documents published to an online hacking forum that purported to include records from Nevada's Clark County School District, including students' names, social security numbers, addresses, and some financial information. Callow's findings were first reported by The Wall Street Journal on Monday. A Clark County School District spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The district previously disclosed that it suffered a ransomware attack during its first week of online classes and said law enforcement was investigating. Ransomware attacks have increased in recent years, and schools have been increasingly targeted this fall as more classes and sensitive files have moved online. At least 60 school districts and universities in the US have been targeted by ransomware attacks this year, according to an Emsisoft tally. The attacks put targets between a rock and a hard place, forcing them to choose whether to pay hefty ransoms to criminals or to risk people's personal information being leaked online. Cybersecurity experts and law enforcement agencies — including the FBI — say targets should avoid paying ransom at all costs in order to put hackers out of business. "Ransomware attacks happen for one reason, and one reason only: they're profitable," Callow told Business Insider. "The only way way to stop them is to make them unprofitable, and that means organizations must stop paying ransoms." Read the original article on Business Insider

www.peacocktv.com peacocktv Free and Premium versions. I just found peacocktv. There is a free version. Which is ad-supported. So you have to watch ads before and during the programs you choose to watch. And there is a premium version. Which is $4.99/month. Which I assume is less ads or no ads. I just signed up today for the free version. There are plenty of good movies and shows to watch. And the ads are not too intrusive. I pay $5.99 for the Hulu ad-supported version (a different service). The ads at the Hulu ad-supported version are much longer and more frequent than the ads at peacock,I think. Check out the free version of peacock. I think you might be suprised at how much is offered. Or if you have more money, you can try to premium version, which is inexpensive. But just starting out, the free version of peacock seems like a great deal. A lot of really nice shows, and some good movies. Separately, if you're a subscriber to some cable services, you can get the peacock premium service for no charge.

This man is a real-life hero. His name has been suppressed, by authorities, who are afraid the man will become the next action super-star in the movies. Read how the man was able to zoom through the air in his car, as the drawbridge started to rise. Unfortunately, the man's car suffered 4 blown tires, and he damaged the bridge's safety gates. But apparently the man himself was not harmed, even though he was arrested by authorities for destruction of public property. I am nominating this hero for the Presidential Medal of Honor, for bravery and courage under fire. The man also deserves a medal for helping to popularize a low-cost way to get high: whippets. ====== ====== Driver launches car across drawbridge as it starts to rise, Michigan police say Dawson White Miami Herald September 17, 2020 Driver launches car across drawbridge as it starts to rise, Michigan police say A driver in Michigan took a daring risk when a drawbridge began to move Wednesday evening, police say. The drawbridge on Fort Street in Detroit started to rise around 7 p.m. as a 26-year-old man approached, WXYZ reported. As the bridge rose, the man launched his Dodge sedan across, according to the outlet. He successfully made it to the other side, but damaged his tires and the bridge’s safety gates in the process, WXYZ reported. “Over he went, blew out all four of his tires, and then he crashed into the other gate,” a witness told WDIV, adding that it seemed like something out of “The Blues Brothers” movie. Police likened it to a scene from “Dukes of Hazard” and suspect the driver had been doing “whippits,” according to the outlet. A whippit is when someone inhales nitrous oxide gas to get high, usually from a whipped-cream can, per Vice. The man was arrested and charges for malicious destruction of property over $1,000 are pending, The Detroit News reported. He’s being held at the Detroit Detention Center, according to the outlet. The driver’s name has not been released by authorities.

I would like to see a movie in a theater. But several problems: I'm afraid of getting the virus. The pain and chance of dying are not worth the risk. Movie prices are high. So I will wait for the movies I want to watch to be on DVD or other venues. --------- --------- Variety Sep 16, 2020 7:00am PT After ‘Tenet’ Stumbles and ‘Wonder Woman 2’ Moves, Movie Theaters Brace for Rough Fall By Brent Lang, Rebecca Rubin The ShowRoom Cinema in Asbury Park and the Beach Cinema in Bradley Beach got the greenlight to reopen at the end of August when New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy lifted restrictions on movie theaters. Mike Sodano, who owns both venues, says that even though he can turn on the marquee lights again after dimming them for roughly six months, he’s hesitant to start welcoming back customers. “Movie theaters need three things to sustain themselves,” says Sodano. “They need profits, they need people and they need product. Well, this pandemic has affected all three.” Sodano isn’t sure when he’ll begin making moves to reopen. The box office performance of Warner Bros.’ “Tenet,” the Christopher Nolan science-fiction epic that many exhibitors hoped would lure audiences back to cinemas during the coronavirus, has done little to assuage his anxiety. The film earned a meager $6.7 million in its second weekend, bringing its domestic haul to a disappointing $29.5 million. Related Stories VIP Tepid ‘Tenet’ Box Office Reflects U.S. Audiences’ Fear of Theaters Jason Momoa Slams Warner Bros. Amid ‘Justice League’ Investigation: ‘This S— Has to Stop’ “‘Tenet’ is a big movie, Christopher Nolan is a big director, and Warner Bros. is a big studio, but there’s one thing they can’t control, and that’s their audience,” says Sodano. “I know this is a marathon and not a sprint, but when you look at those numbers, it does not give me confidence that people are ready to come back to theaters.” Studios seem to agree. Last week, Warner Bros. moved “Wonder Woman 1984” from Oct. 2 to Christmas, and Universal pushed “Candyman” from Oct. 16 to an undetermined time in 2021. That followed the decision by Disney’s 20th Century to delay “The King’s Man” from Sept. 18 to Feb. 26, 2021. On Sept. 14, STX added to the list of postponements, announcing it would release the Gerard Butler disaster film “Greenland” in the U.S. at some unspecified point in the fourth quarter instead of debuting it this month. There’s also skepticism that Disney will go forward with its plans to release “Black Widow,” the upcoming Marvel movie, on Nov. 6, or the Pixar adventure “Soul” on Nov. 20, particularly if theaters aren’t allowed to come back online in Los Angeles and New York, where they remain shuttered. That means cinemas will have to gamble that “Tenet” remains enough of a draw that it can keep the box office humming until “No Time to Die,” the next James Bond adventure, opens on Nov. 20. In the meantime, exhibitors are begging studios to take a look at the films they’ve pushed into 2021 and reconsider launching them in October or late September, which are now largely devoid of big-budget releases. It’s easy to understand the mounting panic among theater owners. In a business that cycles through blockbusters on an almost weekly basis, nearly two months is an eternity to go without a new crowd-pleaser. As for “Tenet,” the film may still make a profit, but it will have to claw its way into the black. “‘Tenet’ is doing about as well as can be expected, but a lot of things are going against it,” says Eric Wold, an exhibition industry analyst with B. Riley. “Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco are closed, and a lot of people don’t want to leave the house because they’re concerned. I’m not sure we’ll see a lot of new content until more markets open up and more consumers feel safe.” It’s a sad state of play that’s unthinkable for a Nolan enterprise, given that the filmmaker helmed megahits like 2008’s “The Dark Knight” ($1 billion worldwide) and 2010’s “Inception” ($833 million). The fact that “Tenet” has a fighting chance is largely due to foreign grosses. The film has earned nearly $200 million globally, mainly on the strength of its overseas revenues, but it will need to top $400 million to break even. “Where people feel safe, they are going to the movies,” said Richard Gelfond, CEO of Imax Corporation. “That’s how it’s playing out with ‘Tenet.’ The international results in places like China are really good. In the U.S., people didn’t come out in the same numbers.” For movie theaters that took the risk of reopening — implementing safety measures, orchestrating extra auditorium cleanings and hiring back staff and training them to adhere to new protocols — the dearth of studio content is a big stumbling block. Many venues say they are already operating at a loss, but they believe it’s important to start showing movies again so people will get back in the habit of going to the multiplexes. There’s a chance that some venues could reduce hours of operation, or only open certain days of the week, if attendance remains low. “It feels like distribution has kind of abandoned the movie theaters,” says Brian Schultz, founder and CEO of Studio Movie Grill, which operates theaters in 10 states. “I understand the core economics at play here, but without new product, we can’t keep things going. Christopher Nolan put an amazing stake in the ground with ‘Tenet,’ but now other studios need to follow his lead.” So far, filmmakers and media conglomerates are hesitant to take the baton from Nolan. And while major releases such as “West Side Story” and “Dune” still are expected to flicker across screens before the New Year, it’s unclear if the public health situation will improve dramatically in the coming months. Fall and winter will bring flu season, which could make customers who are frightened of the coronavirus even more skittish about venturing out of their homes as cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. remain much higher than in other countries. “The theatrical business is broken right now,” says David A. Gross, head of the consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research. “This is an unfamiliar situation. The challenges from the pandemic are beyond the business’s control.” Faced with this kind of existential threat, analysts expect that domestic box office will drop more than 80% year over year, a sign of just how great a toll the pandemic has taken on revenues. That’s bad news for studios, but many of them are part of sprawling media conglomerates that can withstand the financial hit. Movie theaters have had to pay rent for months while taking in virtually no revenue — and their balance sheets may not improve even when they are allowed to resume operations. Many states require operators to keep venues at 25% capacity so social distancing can be enforced. That means margins are shrinking. Cinemas make most of their money selling popcorn and soda, but fewer people in seats means less activity at the concession stand. That’s made some exhibitors apprehensive about taking the steps to welcome back audiences. Nic Steele, the founder and owner of Eclipse Theatre in Las Vegas, originally considered reopening when “Tenet” hit screens. But after he crunched the numbers, he decided that he couldn’t make it work. His theaters couldn’t be profitable unless at least half the seats in his auditoriums were full, something that’s impossible given current public health rules. Also, rehiring people, training them and buying supplies to keep his venues free of COVID-19 will add to his costs, making profitability more problematic if revenues are lower. “If you open too soon and there’s no product out, or just an OK-performing movie every few months, you’re sitting there with a lot of fixed costs and no revenue coming in,” says Steele. “Your cash-burn rate is going to eat up reserves. Whether there’s one guest or 50 guests, a lot of the fixed costs are the same.” Theaters that have taken the plunge report mixed results. Studio Movie Grill, which operates in states such as Texas and Florida, has reopened 19 of its 31 theaters, but it’s been a struggle to draw crowds. Schultz says his most fervent customers have returned, but that his locations are still receiving calls from potential ticket buyers who aren’t sure if cinemas are back in business. “There’s a lot of confusion,” he says. “It’s been a slow process, and we have to keep countering the message that movie theaters are shut down.” Schultz hopes that studios and exhibitors can join together to tout theaters’ new safety precautions and to embark on a campaign to get audiences to visit their local cinemas again. But there’s one major stumbling block: content. “I want people to know that we’re ready for them to come back to the movies,” says Schultz. “But everything depends on how we all act. If guests come back in droves, then studios will start releasing movies again. If studios start releasing more movies, then audiences will return to theaters. It’s a Catch-22.”

I'm not sure how much of an expert the Catholic pope is on sex, but he says that having sex and eating good food is divine. One of the definitions of gluttony (a sin) is eating delicacies and better quality food. So maybe Catholics are now free to enjoy both good sex and good food. Or am I mis-understanding what the good pope is preaching? -------- -------- Pope Francis says having sex and eating good food is 'simply divine' HuffPost US Jeremy Blum Sep 12th 2020 9:44AM Pope Francis wants you to eat well and enjoy sex. The pope spoke on cuisine and intercourse during a series of interviews with Carlo Petrini, an Italian culinary writer and activist behind the “slow food” movement, which positions itself as the opposite of fast food and advocates a slower, more meaningful pace of life. “Pleasure arrives directly from God,” Francis told Petrini. “It is neither Catholic, nor Christian, nor anything else. It is simply divine.” Francis critiqued the “overzealous morality” of a Roman Catholic Church that denounced pleasure in the past, calling it a “wrong interpretation of the Christian message.” “The church has condemned inhuman, brutish, vulgar pleasure, but has on the other hand always accepted human, simple, moral pleasure,” Francis said. “The pleasure of eating is there to keep you healthy by eating, just like sexual pleasure is there to make love more beautiful and guarantee the perpetuation of the species. ... The pleasure of eating and sexual pleasure [comes] from God.” Francis pointed to the 1987 film “Babette’s Feast,” saying it represented his ideas on pleasure. The pope has lauded the film in the past, particularly praising the actions of its protagonist, a chef who prepares an elaborate feast for members of a Protestant village. “The most intense joys in life arise when we are able to elicit joy in others, as a foretaste of heaven,” Francis wrote in “Amoris Laetitia,” his 2016 apostolic exhortation. “We can think of the lovely scene in the film ‘Babette’s Feast,’ when the generous cook receives a grateful hug and praise: ‘Ah, how you will delight the angels!’ It is a joy and a great consolation to bring delight to others, to see them enjoying themselves. This joy, the fruit of fraternal love, is not that of the vain and self-centered, but of lovers who delight in the good of those whom they love, who give freely to them and thus bear good fruit.” Francis’ conversations with Petrini were published in the Italian book “Terra Futura: Conversations With Pope Francis on Integral Ecology,” which was released on Wednesday and focuses on the pope’s views on culture, community and environmentalism. Francis was “simply repeating the perennial Christian message on virtue and vice,” Catholic commentator Peter Williams told Newsweek in reference to the pope’s remarks on sex and food. “By avoiding the twin evil extremes of repressive puritanism on the one hand and immoral libertinism on the other, both of which prevent or destroy happy enjoyment of good things like food or sex, the church rightly espouses the ‘golden mean,’” Williams told Newsweek.

WB Delaying ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ To Christmas & Keeping ‘Dune’ In December [UPDATED] Charles Barfield September 11, 2020 12:27 pm According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the outlet spoke with someone with knowledge of Warner Bros.’ plans for the film’s release and confirmed that WB is moving ‘WW84’ from its original October 2 debut to “a date later in the year.” This confirms the earlier report from Deadline that said the film would likely eye a November or December release. The news comes as more analysts look at the mild debut from “Tenet” and realize that maybe WB shot itself in the foot by rushing Christopher Nolan’s film into theaters without the business being able to fully support a blockbuster film in a meaningful way. As we’ve seen, even when theater chains (approximately 70% of cinemas in the US are open, with more opening weekly) are mostly available for screenings, the capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements make it almost impossible for a $200 million film to recoup its money as would normally be expected. It’s clear that WB is concerned that “Wonder Woman 1984” would crowd the market too much and be catastrophic for both it and “Tenet,” with the latter basically requiring more than a month (probably more than two months) of unopposed dominance to come close to earning its money back. So, naturally, the question remains—where will “Wonder Woman 1984” land? The obvious spot is December 18, where WB’s own “Dune” currently sits. The studio could just remove “Dune” and replace it with the ‘Wonder Woman’ sequel, allowing for the film to dominate the Christmas season and early winter. Of course, there’s also the other option of early-November, where “Black Widow” currently sits. Speculation abounds that Disney is going to move “Black Widow” (or perhaps try something equally nuts, like the studio did with “Mulan”) to a later date. If that happens, suddenly there’s a gap that ‘WW84’ could occupy. Of course, then, it would have to compete with the likes of “No Time To Die” a couple of weeks later. And let’s be real, it’s highly unlikely that November is going to be drastically better in terms of the pandemic and theaters likely won’t be able to support “Tenet,” whatever other smaller films are released in October, and then “Wonder Woman 1984” plus “No Time to Die.” Hell, that would have been a disaster for any theater at full strength, let alone still in recovery mode. Alas, all we know is that WB is delaying ‘WW84.’ We don’t know the obvious next step. At least, at this moment.

I've been trying to make Alexa a better girlfriend. Or, at least, a more useful girlfriend. I ask Alexa to send me some money. She replies "I'm not a bank." Again, I ask Alexa to send me some money. Now she tells me "I seem to have misplaced my wallet." Is Alexa being truthful? Should I trade her in for a girl who tries to please me more? Is Google better than Amazon? I haven't tried the Google assistant yet. Do any PU members have experience with the Google assistant, and the Amazon assistant, so they can tell which which is more useful? More truthful? More willing to please? Desperately searching for a new girlfriend, in the time of the corona virus.

Tom D Admin, please explain the tally For Sep 9 raffle On Sep 3 (or maybe it was Sep 4, both dates are shown for the announcement): In the Announcements section of the PU homepage, Tom D posted the following: 09-03-20 Tally For September 9, 2020 Raffle UPDATED SEPTEMBER 4TH Tally For September 9, 2020 Raffle UPDATED SEPTEMBER 4TH Posted by Tom D Admin September 03rd, 2020 Reply to Announcement As of September 4 20, 2020: exotics4me is in the lead with 19 entries! Pinkerton is second with 18 entries! LKLK is in third with his 12 entries! rearadmiral has earned 1 entry. Trump2020 has 1 entry, too. Wraith0711 also has 1 entry. ============================================ The results Tom D posted make very little sense. Can you explain why exotics and pinkerton have the number of entries they do? According to the rules, each approved review gets 5 entries. (There are other ways to get entries, but 5 entries per approved review is the main method.) exotics posted 3 reviews. He is listed with 19 entries. pinkerton posted 5 reviews. He is listed with 18 entries. If any of pinkerton's reviews were rejected, don't you think that PU should post a notice that the posted review was rejected? To make it clear what the heck is happening? You said the reviews and entries are supposed to be clear and transparent. As far as I can tell, the entries tally are mired in fog. How can pinkerton have 5 posted reviews, which should be worth 25 entries, and only have a tally of 18 entries?

The New York Times Chadwick Boseman, Star of ‘Black Panther,’ Dies at 43 Michael Levenson 2 hrs ago Chadwick Boseman, the actor who found fame as the star of “Black Panther” and who also portrayed pathbreaking Black figures such as Jackie Robinson, James Brown and Thurgood Marshall, died on Friday. He was 43, his publicist, Nicki Fioravante, told The Associated Press. A statement posted on Mr. Boseman’s Instagram account said the actor had been diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2016, which had progressed to Stage IV. It said he died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” the statement said. “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” the statement said. “From ‘Marshall’ to ‘Da 5 Bloods,’ August Wilson’s ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.” Mr. Boseman was best known for his role as T’Challa, or the Black Panther, king of the fictional African nation of Wakanda in the 2018 Marvel superhero movie “Black Panther.” The film was a cultural touchstone — the first major superhero movie with an African protagonist; the first to star a majority Black cast; and in Ryan Coogler, the first to employ a Black writer and director. The film represented a moment of hope and pride for African-American moviegoers, many of whom planned special outings to see the film and came dressed in African-inspired clothing and accessories. Wakanda was powered by a mystery metal, vibranium, and had evaded the historical traumas endured by much of the rest of Africa, freeing it from the ravages of both colonialism and postcolonialism. The statement on Mr. Boseman’s Instagram account said it was “the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in ‘Black Panther.’” Mr. Boseman also portrayed the baseball icon Jackie Robinson in “42,” in 2013, the soul singer James Brown in “Get On Up,” in 2014, and the Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall in “Marshall,” in 2017. Mr. Boseman was born and raised in Anderson, S.C., the youngest of three boys. His mother, Carolyn, was a nurse and hs father, Leroy, worked for an agricultural conglomerate and had a side business as an upholsterer. “I saw him work a lot of third shifts, a lot of night shifts,” Mr. Boseman told The New York Times last year. “Whenever I work a particularly hard week, I think of him.”

Romance is dead. Krystal and Chris are getting a divorce. However, there are wonderful take-aways to be learned: "I believe that there can be beauty inside of pain when we have the courage to look within with compassion and a willingness to grow.We all deserve to live a beautiful life we love... and sometimes we realize it’s time to let go and LET GOD. ." (The Folded Hands symbol is variously used as a gesture of prayer [religious or secular], thanks, request, and greeting as well to express such sentiments as hope, praise, gratitude, reverence, and respect.) One thing you do have to respect: they have great speechwriters, who can make shit smell like perfume. Maybe Biden or Trump can hire these speechwriters. ------------------- ------------------- 'BiP' star Krystal Nielson confirms she and Chris Randone are divorcing 6 months after separation ET Online Jennifer Drysdale Aug 25th 2020 11:30AM Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone are going their separate ways for good. The Bachelor in Paradise stars are moving forward with their divorce, Nielson recently revealed on Instagram, six months after the pair announced their separation. "The past 8 months have not been easy... I’ve been torn between mourning a life that could’ve been… and determined to fight for the future that I know I deserve," she wrote. "With respect and support for one another, Chris and I have decided to move forward with filing for divorce," Nielson said. "We are grateful for the events that brought us to find one another, as we have been great teachers on our journey of personal discovery and growth." The reality star continued, "I believe that there can be beauty inside of pain when we have the courage to look within with compassion and a willingness to grow.We all deserve to live a beautiful life we love... and sometimes we realize it’s time to let go and LET GOD. ." "Thank you for the well wishes and continued support," Nielson concluded. "It means the world. ." AdChoices Nielson, who appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor in 2018, and Randone, who competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette the same year, both entered Bachelor in Paradise in 2018 as villains from their respective seasons. They got engaged on that season of BiP, and got married in June 2019 in Mexico. On Feb. 15, Nielson and Randone revealed they were separating. "It hurts to announce that at this moment, we have mutually decided to separate. Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves," the pair told Bachelor Nation in a statement at the time. "We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply. We’ve appreciated everyone’s love and support so far throughout our journey and we just ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate through this."

Since the PU site has disabled some features, why not eliminate them from the home page and make the home page feature more prominently the factors that are updating: The "All-Time Ranks" section: Top Rated and Most Active are currently disabled. By that, I mean: the Top Rated shows: "There are currently no Top Rated sites". Also, the Most Active shows: "There are currently no Active sites". So eliminate those colums/heading, to clean the home page from useless garbage. Also, the Top Users heading: Top Users-Most Points and Last 7 days. Since points have been dropped, or reset to zero for everyone, those headings don't have a lot of meaning. So eliminate the point ratings for Top Users and Last 7 Days, since there are no points ratings, for top users and for the last 7 days. Maybe the PU staff or PU members can come up with new headings that are useful. But the old system of showing points, that are no longer given or used, just shows that the PU site needs a site update. Any comments by the PU staff and PU members on this topic would be helpful in making the PU homepage more responsive and effective.

Variety Aug 1, 2020 3:30pm PT Rhode Island Mistakenly Mails Tax Refund Checks Signed by Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney More than 150 people in Rhode Island accidentally received tax refund checks signed by none other than Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney, rather than their state officials. According to CNN, the misprinted signatures were on 176 tax refund checks. The error was the result of a technical glitch in the printing system for the state’s Division of Taxation. The state’s news station WPRI reported that Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney are the names used on dummy checks for internal testing. Jade Borgeson, chief of staff for Rhode Island’s Department of Revenue, told CNN that the test-image files were mistakenly used on the real checks. Rhode Island’s state treasurer Seth Magaziner and state controller Peter Keenan should have been the signatures featured on the checks. In a photo posted by NBC 10 WJAR online, Mickey Mouse’s name was printed where Magaziner’s should have been, and Disney’s took Keenan’s spot. The 176 tax refund checks were mostly corporate tax refunds and were mailed to taxpayers on Monday. The misprinted checks were mostly related to business taxes, like sales tax, corporate refunds and tax credit refunds. After they were mistakenly mailed out, the checks were voided and can no longer be deposited. Replacement checks with the proper signatures will be mailed out to the affected taxpayers within a week. “The division is continuing to proactively contact impacted taxpayers to remedy the error, and apologizes for any inconvenience the error may have caused,” Borgeson told CNN. Rhode Island’s Division of Taxation said that anyone who received one of the incorrect checks should contact the Department of Revenue.

Although PU tries to portray itself as a civil, welcoming community, we are loyal to the idea of making Porn Great Again. With sadness in our hearts, we must ex-communicate all Canadians from our community. The reason: Justin Trudeau has declared war on the United States of America. He has slandered our great and glorious leader, President Bone Spurs. Trudeau cites the following: As of Wednesday night, Canada had recored 106,434 confirmed coronavirus cases, and its national death toll stood at 8,737, according to authorities. The U.S., which has around nine times the population of its northern neighbor, has logged about 30 times as many cases and about 15 times as many deaths. In the race to be the first and biggest and best, US figures show 15 times as many deaths as Canada. So Americans are more willing to die than Canadians. America first. America the greatest. Throw away your masks, embrace your neighbors, and let freedom ring throughout the land, and at the PU site!!! -------- -------- Justin Trudeau says Canada managed coronavirus better than allies — ‘particularly’ U.S. New York Daily News Tim Balk Jul 9th 2020 1:16PM Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau didn’t sugarcoat it. In a news conference on Wednesday, the 48-year-old Canadian leader said his country has controlled coronavirus “better than many of our allies, particularly including our neighbor,” Reuters quoted the man whose country borders just one other nation. Trudeau declined an invitation to attend an event on Wednesday in Washington with President Trump and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Trudeau cited scheduling reasons for passing on the event. His gentle Trump-trolling talk came as The Great White North’s COVID-19 outbreak stabilizes in stark contrast to the U.S., where the pandemic is roaring. As of Wednesday night, Canada had recored 106,434 confirmed coronavirus cases, and its national death toll stood at 8,737, according to authorities. The U.S., which has around nine times the population of its northern neighbor, has logged about 30 times as many cases and about 15 times as many deaths. New cases have surged across much of the America in recent days, with outbreaks raging in states including California and Florida. “The situation is stabilizing in Canada, because Canadians did their part and followed public health instructions,” Trudeau said. “But we still have to be very careful. Things can change quickly.”

This is real news: Indian schoolgirls discover asteroid moving toward the earth. "The asteroid is currently close to the orbit of Mars -- but in 1 million years, it will change its orbit and move closer to Earth, although it will still be at a distance of more than 10 times the distance which exists between the Earth and the Moon." President Trump has authorized the United States Space Force. Will Bruce Willis head the project to deflect or destroy the asteroid? He has saved the Earth once already, in the documentary Armageddon, so he has the knowledge and experience needed. Will President Trump allow Willis the honor of saving the entire world, once again? Willis leans toward being a Republican. So party politics favor Willis being chosen. And if Willis is able to deflect or destroy the asteroid, Trump's chances of winning the election in 2020 will rise dramatically. Go, Willis, our first space hero. --- --- CNN Indian schoolgirls discover asteroid moving toward Earth By Swati Gupta and Amy Woodyatt, CNN 2 hrs ago Two Indian schoolgirls have discovered an asteroid which is slowly shifting its orbit and moving toward Earth. Radhika Lakhani and Vaidehi Vekariya, both studying in 10th grade, were working on a school project when they discovered the asteroid, which they named HLV2514. The girls, from the city of Surat in the western Indian state of Gujarat, were participating in a Space India and NASA project, which allows students to analyze images taken by a telescope positioned at the University of Hawaii. Aakash Dwivedi, senior educator and astronomer at Space India, told CNN that students across India were taught how to spot the celestial bodies using software which analyzes images collected by NASA's PAN Star telescope. Students then searched for moving objects in the pictures. The project, Dwivedi explained, was intended to involve and educate students in science and astronomy. "We started the project in June and we sent back our analysis a few weeks ago to NASA. On July 23, they sent us an email confirming that we had identified a near Earth object," Vekariya, who is 15 years old, told CNN. Dwivedi explained that the asteroid is currently close to the orbit of Mars -- but in 1 million years, it will change its orbit and move closer to Earth, although it will still be at a distance of more than 10 times the distance which exists between the Earth and the Moon. "Asteroids are taken very seriously by NASA. Since this asteroid is changing its orbit it has become news," said Dwivedi. Asteroids, also known as minor planets, are small rocky objects that orbit the sun. Vekariya said pupils could not celebrate the discovery, due to the pandemic, but added: "This was a dream. I want to become an astronaut." She said: "It is such a vast topic. There is no limit to search in space, especially the black hole theory."

Early projects from the 1950s include The Unguarded Moment, opposite Esther Williams, and Running Wild, opposite Mamie Van Doren. He soon graduated to higher echelon films, working with notable directors like Blake Edwards opposite Debbie Reynolds in This Happy Feeling, Vincent Minnelli opposite Sandra Dee in The Reluctant Debutante, Frank Borzage in sandal epic The Big Fisherman, and John Huston in The Unforgiven. In 1966 he was nominated for a best supporting actor Golden Globe for his portrayal of Mexican bandit Chuy Medena in The Appaloosa opposite Marlon Brando. In 1973, Saxon starred with Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon, one of the most profitable movies ever made. This was Lee’s first starring role in a Hollywood film, and the last that he completed. The 1970s and early 1980s included saw Saxon quite busy, appearing on mainstream television shows like The Six Million Dollar Man, Starsky and Hutch, Hawaii Five-0, Vega$, Quincy M.E., Magnum P. I., and Fantasy Island, plus a slew of lower budget feature films. (There’s some gold in that run, like Bob Clark’s Black Christmas, David Cronenberg’s Fast Company, and the John Sayles-penned Star Wars “homage” for Roger Corman, Battle Beyond the Stars.) In 1983, however, he starred in what turned out to be not just another horror picture, but the launch of a major pop culture phenomenon, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Saxon’s Lt. Thompson returned in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, and in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Also in the 1980s, Saxon had a recurring role on Dynasty as a Middle Eastern oil tycoon named Rashid Ahmed who wooed Joan Collins, and as Lorenzo Lamas’s father on Falcon Crest. In 1996 he appeared as an FBI agent in the Robert Rodriguez-Quentin Tarantino collaboration From Dusk Til Dawn, and he had one writer-director credit, an action-horror picture from 1988 called Death House.

Disney Removes ‘Mulan’ From Slate, Pushes ‘Avatar’ and ‘Star Wars’ Films Back One Year “It’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone,” studio says in statement Jeremy Fuster and Brian Welk | July 23, 2020 @ 2:00 PM Last Updated: July 23, 2020 @ 2:54 PM Mulan 2020 Liu Yifei Photo credit: Walt Disney Studios As COVID-19 infections continue to surge in U.S. states, Disney announced on Thursday that it is indefinitely postponing the release of Niki Caro’s remake of “Mulan,” effectively ending hopes of salvaging the summer blockbuster season. “Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for ‘Mulan’ as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world,” the studio said in a statement. In addition, all scheduled “Avatar” sequels and “Star Wars” films have been delayed one year, and other films set to be released by Disney, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight in September and October have also been pushed back, including Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch,” which Searchlight has now indefinitely postponed. Also Read: 'Tenet' Delayed Again to Unnamed 2020 Date Other films moved include 20th Century’s “The Empty Man,” which moves from August 7 to December 4; Ridley Scott’s “The Last Duel,” which moves from a Christmas Day limited release to October 15, 2021; and Searchlight’s “The Personal History of David Copperfield,” which now gets a limited release on August 28. James Cameron released a statement to Twitter explaining the delay of the “Avatar” films, saying that though some live-action filming is proceeding in New Zealand, the virtual production work on stages in Los Angeles makes it impossible for the team to make its December 2021 release date. “That work is just as critical to the films as the live action work,” Cameron wrote. “There is no one more disappointed about this delay than me.” Also Read: Why Warner Bros. Should Reconsider Releasing 'Tenet' for Streaming on HBO Max Cameron’s four “Avatar” sequels, which are now over a decade removed from the original film, are now slated up through 2028, with “Avatar 5” meant to hit theaters on Dec. 22, 2028. As it stands, the next films on the release slate for Disney and 20th Century are “The New Mutants,” which has long been delayed well before the coronavirus pandemic, and Searchlight’s “The Personal History of David Copperfield,” both set for Aug. 28. Disney has also given a release date to “Antlers,” which since the pandemic started has been undated. The horror film from Scott Cooper and producer Guillermo del Toro will open on Feb. 19, 2021, after originally being slated for release in April. “The Woman in the Window,” a psychological thriller starring Amy Adams and from 20th Century, however, is still undated. “Death on the Nile,” the follow up to “Murder on the Orient Express” from Kenneth Branagh, has also shifted two weeks to Oct. 23, 2020. Also Read: AMC Shifts Theater Reopening Schedule After 'Mulan,' 'Tenet' Move Untouched as of yet on the release slate from the previous shuffle of the slate are the MCU movies, with Phase 4 still planning to kick off on Nov. 6, 2020 with “Black Widow.” Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” will also open Nov. 20, 2020 as previously planned. The shift of “Mulan” off the release slate follows the move of “Tenet” by Warner Bros. on Monday. That film along with “Mulan” were both meant to be blockbusters among the first to return to movie theaters in the late summer that could help spur audiences back to theater chains, all of which mostly remain closed. AMC in particular has pushed back its phased opening until mid-August as it awaits other Hollywood product that can lure audiences back. Warner Bros. said that “Tenet” would open at some point this year, but the studio also said that it would do so unconventionally, opening the door to the possibility that “Tenet” could open internationally or overseas before it is able to open domestically, as well as the possibility that the movie may not open in every city at once in a wide release.

I tried clicking on the fm-teens.com hot link at the PU site, and find a page that says the site name is for sale. So did the fm-teens.com die? It was a fine site for teen porn, mainly for photos, but also had videos. How many other sites are going down in the virus epidemic? I'm sure a lot of porn sites are hurting.

I just got a fake email in my main email address. How do I know it's fake? Because the sender is listed as: from: Myemailaddress. (the email address is my main email address). Since I know I didn't send this email to me, I know it's fake. I guess there are programs that allow spammers to use whatever fake email address they want to put in the sender heading. But why make the sender the same as the recipient? You'd have to be half-asleep, not to know that the mail is fake. If you bothered to read who sent the email. Or, else, you just open all emails automatically, without looking to see who sent them. Whatever. Lately, I've been getting a lot of increased spam. I guess the spammers don't have anything better to do than send out more spam. Honestly, I've been getting over 100 spam emails every day lately. Most of the spam goes directly into my spam box. But a lot of spam goes directly into my inbox. And it's really irritating.

I just logged into the PU site. I've lost all my points (for accepted reviews). Also lost my badges (that showed all the past levels of my glorious accomplishments, such as feedback, trust level, etc.). Does this make a difference? Supposedly, only members with 5 or more points can submit a trust rating for another member. There might be other privileges that are tied to your points level, but I don't know what they are. So, am I now considered a newbie, instead of a decorated oldster? On a positive note, I am now tied with exotics4me, who used to have the #1 position on points. We both have 0 points, along with everyone else.

Variety Jun 19, 2020 4:56am PT Ian Holm, Shakespearean Actor Who Played Bilbo Baggins, Dies at 88 Ian Holm, the classically trained Shakespearean actor best known to film audiences for his performances in films including the “Lord of the Rings” and “Hobbit” movies, “Chariots of Fire” and “Alien,” has died. He was 88. A rep for the actor has said Holm died in hospital on Friday morning. The actor had been battling Parkinson’s Disease for a number of years. However, as recently as January, Holm appeared in person to collect the Newport Beach Film Festival’s Icon Award in London. Holm, who was celebrated for interpretations of most of the Shakespeare canon, including a towering “King Lear,” also excelled onstage in the original production of Harold Pinter’s “The Homecoming,” which he also brought to Broadway. He began working in films only midway through his career, debuting with an adaptation of his stage performance in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 1968. In later years, however, he worked increasingly in movies and more selectively onstage, appearing in high-profile films such as “Alien,” “The Fifth Element,” “Lord of the Rings” pics “The Fellowship of the Ring” and “The Return of the King” and “Hobbit” movies “An Unexpected Journey” and “The Battle of the Five Armies.” But his finest work was contained in independently made productions like Oscar best picture winner “Chariots of Fire,” which brought him a nomination as best supporting actor in 1982; “The Madness of King George”; “Joe Gould’s Secret”; “Big Night”; and “The Sweet Hereafter.” He also worked regularly on British television series such as “The Borrowers,” “Bells,” “Mr. and Mrs. Edgehill,” “We the Accused” and “Game Set and Match.” Holm was remarkably versatile and, despite his short stature, rarely limited in his selection of roles. He was very much an actor’s actor, too chameleon-like to have a strong star impact. In 1998, he received his knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to drama. Holm had been working as an actor for decades when he first achieved mainstream notice for his work as an android in 1979’s “Alien” and as the Olympic trainer Sam Mussabini in 1981’s “Chariots of Fire.” Over the next decade the roles became larger and more distinctive, including Napoleon in “Time Bandits,” Polonius in Zeffirelli’s “Hamlet” alongside Mel Gibson, Captain Fluellen in Kenneth Branagh’s “Henry V,” as well as turns in “Dreamchild,” “Brazil,” “Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes,” “Wetherby,” “Dance With a Stranger” and Woody Allen’s “Another Woman.” During the ’90s he had meaty starring roles in Steven Soderbergh’s “Kafka” and David Cronenberg’s “Naked Lunch” as well as in Nicholas Hytner’s “The Madness of King George,” Branagh’s “Frankenstein” and “The Fifth Element.” Holm turned in several outstanding performances in top independent movies including Stanley Tucci’s “Big Night” and “Joe Gould’s Secret” and, especially, in Atom Egoyan’s “The Sweet Hereafter,” where his performance as the pained lawyer futilely seeking redress in the wake of a Canadian town’s tragedy was “bottomless with its subtlety,” Roger Ebert said. He worked for Cronenberg again but was wasted in “eXistenZ.” The actor, who cut his teeth in the theater, still did stagework occasionally. Holm starred as Astrov in “Uncle Vanya” in 1979 and as King Lear in 1997. The latter brought him an Olivier award as best actor, and he repeated both performances on television, winning an Emmy for “Lear” in 1999. In 1993, he starred in a production of Pinter’s “Moonlight” onstage with wife Penelope Wilton. He returned to the role of Napoleon in 2001 film “The Emperor’s Clothes.” (He had first played Bonaparte in the 1972 TV series “Napoleon and Me,” then comically in “Time Bandits.”) In a generally negative review of the film, the New York Times said, “In a sly, deadpan performance, Mr. Holm does his best to realize the movie’s gentle comic vision.” In his 70s Holm continued to show up in high-profile films — none more high profile than the “Lord of the Rings” movies, in which he played Bilbo Baggins. He was a sadistic doctor in the Hughes brothers’ “From Hell,” with Johnny Depp, and played meteorologists in Roland Emmerich’s disaster epic “The Day After Tomorrow” and Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator.” But he was also one of the starring voices in the stylish animated film noir sci-fier “Renaissance” and the delightful animated feature “Ratatouille.” Holm made some other interesting choices in the 2000s, appearing in the indie comedy “Strangers With Candy”; as an outrageous psychoanalyst in “The Treatment”; and as David Ben Gurion, the first president of Israel, in Elie Chouraqui’s “O Jerusalem.” He returned to the role of Bilbo Baggins for two “Hobbit” films, “An Unexpected Journey” and “The Battle of the Five Armies.” Ian Holm Cuthbert was born in Goodmayes, England, and entered the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1950, leaving in 1953 to do his military service. The following year he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford-on-Avon and made his debut as a spear carrier in “Othello.” Holm made his West End debut in 1956’s “Love Affair” and toured Europe with Laurence Olivier in “Titus Andronicus,” rejoining the RSC in 1957 and breaking out in 1959 with his celebrated Puck in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and as the Fool in “King Lear.” He remained with the RSC until 1967, appearing in starring roles in “The Tempest” (as Ariel), “Richard III,” “Henry V” and “Henry IV, Part 1” and “Part 2.” In 1965 he appeared to great acclaim as Lenny in the original production of Pinter’s “The Homecoming”; he won a Tony when he repeated the role on Broadway in 1967 and played the role again in Pinter’s 1973 big-screen adaptation. In 1968 he made his film debut in “The Bofors Gun,” a British film that brought him a BAFTA Award for supporting actor. Thereafter, he appeared more regularly in movies and on television than onstage. Over the next few years, he had supporting roles in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “The Fixer,” “Oh! What a Lovely War,” “Nicholas and Alexandra” and as King John in “Robin and Marian.” Other assignments included “Young Winston,” “Juggernaut,” “Shout at the Devil” and, for television, “Les Miserables,” “The Man in the Iron Mask,” “All Quiet on the Western Front” and “Jesus of Nazareth.” For the American miniseries “Holocaust” and “Inside the Third Reich,” he played Heinrich Himmler and Joseph Goebbels, respectively. He won a second Emmy in 2001 for his roguish work opposite Judi Dench in HBO telepic “The Last of the Blonde Bombshells.” With wife Wilton he appeared in “The Borrowers” and “The Return of the Borrowers” for Brit TV, and he was one of an all-star cast of voices that contributed to the live-action version of “Animal Farm” that aired on TNT in the U.S. Holm also did a considerable amount of voiceover and narration work. He narrated the documentaries “Stalin,” “Elizabeth R: A Year in the Life of the Queen” and “Hiroshima: The Decision to Drop the Bomb”; “The Seas of Zanzibar” and “Skin Deep,” both for the Discovery Channel; and “Holocaust on Trial” for PBS. Holm was married four times, first to Lynn Mary Shaw. His second wife was film still photographer Sophie Baker. Their marriage ended in 1986. Holm married Wilton in 1991, and divorced in 2001. He is survived by his fourth wife, artist Sophie de Stempel, whom he married in 2003; three daughters, Jessica, Sarah-Jane, who did some film acting, and Melissa, a casting director; and two sons, Barnaby, who acted as a child, and Harry, a filmmaker who makes music videos.

Twitter removes 30,000 accounts linked to Russia, China and Turkey Fake and compromised accounts have been permanently taken down. Corinne Reichert June 11, 2020 3:05 p.m. PT The accounts violated Twitter's platform manipulation policy. Angela Lang/CNET Twitter has permanently removed 32,242 accounts that were found to be state-backed operations from China, Russia and Turkey. The accounts were suspended for violating the social media company's platform manipulation policy. It's publishing the accounts to its archive of foreign influence campaigns, Twitter said in a blog post published Thursday. Of those accounts, Twitter said 23,750 were linked with being part of a "core network" under a campaign by the People's Republic of China. Twitter also found another 150,000 "amplifier" accounts that were designed to boost numbers on the core accounts, but decided not to remove them due to most having "little to no follower counts." "This entire network was involved in a range of manipulative and coordinated activities," Twitter Safety said in a blog post. "They were ... continuing to push deceptive narratives about the political dynamics in Hong Kong." Around 1,100 accounts were linked with a campaign by Russia and to a state-backed website that spreads political propaganda, Twitter said. "Activities included promoting the United Russia party and attacking political dissidents," the blog post detailed. The Turkey-linked accounts numbered 7,340 and were a "collection of fake and compromised accounts ... being used to amplify political narratives favorable to the AK Parti, and demonstrated strong support for President Erdogan," according to Twitter. They were also being used to spread cryptocurrency-related spam. I see that Homegirl's account has been disabled. She is a recent member. But one of the most active users at the PU site. With many recent reviews, posts, comments, whatever. Curious that her account is disabled, without her posting that she was thinking of leaving us. I know that she wanted some response to questions she had posted, and wanted to be upgraded to veteran status. She had submitted a large number of reviews, comments, replies, etc., which should have qualified her for veteran status. Except the rules (which I don't know if they still apply) state you need 5 points to go from newbie status to the next level (which I assume is veteran status). And points are no longer being given out for reviews. So anyone who is a newbie (a newbie is anyone with less than 5 points) is forced to remain a newbie. It would be a shame if Homegirl left because she was not awarded the points she should have been given. Her input will be missed. She was definitely one of the major contributors to the site since joining. Could the PU staff reach out to her, to ask her back?

Phase three from June 8 could see an increase in the allowed capacity and opening of cinemas in malls. Any plan has to also be approved on a province level, with cinemas in major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona not expected to reopen before June 8. South Korea Reopening date: April 29 South Korean cinemas began to reopen over the four-day national holiday at the end of April. Sweden In line with the country-wide policy, cinemas in Sweden have not been instructed to close at any stage. The country’s largest exhibitor Filmstaden closed its venues (65% market share) on March 12 in line with the global policy of its owner AMC. However, some independent cinemas have remained open with social distancing measures in place. This did not bring substantial box office takings though, with just over $30,000 taken on the last weekend of April compared to around $840,000 on the equivalent weekend the previous year. Switzerland Reopening date: June 6 As the third phase of Switzerland’s reopening plan, cinemas can reopen from June 6, although this will be confirmed on May 27. UK Reopening date: July 4 (provisional date, England only) The UK government announced its exit strategy on May 10, indicating that cinemas could potentially reopen from July 4. Further detail is expected in the coming weeks. Ukraine Reopening date: June 10 As step three of the country’s five-step reopening plan, cinemas should be able to open from June 10. However, operators have asked local authorities to postpone reopening to July 1, as they believe they would not be able to effectively operate before then. US Reopening date: April 27 (Georgia); May 1 (Texas) Cinemas are reopening in the US on a state-by-state basis, with Georgia opening some from late April and Texas following suit on May 1

An anonymous reader quotes a report from Ars Technica: Believers of 5G conspiracy theories have apparently been buying a $350 anti-5G USB key that -- not surprisingly -- appears to just be a regular USB stick with only 128MB of storage. As noted by the BBC today, the "5GBioShield" USB stick "was recommended by a member of Glastonbury Town Council's 5G Advisory Committee, which has called for an inquiry into 5G." The company that sells 5GBioShield claims it "is the result of the most advanced technology currently available for balancing and prevention of the devastating effects caused by non-natural electric waves, particularly (but not limited to) 5G, for all biological life forms." The product's website charges 283 British pounds for a single 5GBioShield, which converts to nearly $350. That's what it costs to get "protection for your home and family, thanks to the wearable holographic nano-layer catalyser, which can be worn or placed near to a smartphone or any other electrical, radiation or EMF emitting device." The USB stick apparently doesn't need to be plugged in to anything to work its magic. "It is always ON and working -- that's why we used quantum nano-layer technology," the company says in an FAQ. But what does the 5GBioShield actually consist of? The BBC pointed to a recent teardown by security company Pen Test Partners, which found that the device is just a USB stick with 128MB of storage. The company wrote: "When plugged in to our test machine we may have missed the bubble of 'quantum holographic catalyzer technology' appearing. The stick comes loaded with a 25 page PDF version of the material from 5GBioShield's website. It included a Q&A of distances for the "bubble" and how to know if it is working. It's an "always on" system apparently, is always working, powered or not, so no visual checks needed. A review of the stick's properties revealed nothing more than what you'd expect from a regular 128MB USB key. We weren't even sure that 128s are still in production!" The report says that the London Trading Standards has launched a probe to investigate this product. How will the company defend itself? BioShield Distribution Director Anna Grochowalska told the BBC, "We are in possession of a great deal of technical information, with plenty of back-up historical research," and "we are not authorized to fully disclose all this sensitive information to third parties, for obvious reasons."

There is a new photo set of her at Playboy Plus, dated 2020-05-19. Is this an old photo set, just now being released? Or is she still active? Actually, she retired from doing professional porn shoots in 2018, but became very active in social media and other business opportunities related to the adult industry. Maybe the current photo set is new, or it could be an old photo set just now being released. Even though she says she retired from pornography in 1918, she is still active in the adult industry. So it depends on how you define it: did she retire from the adult industry? Yes, according to her. No, if you read articles about her activity on social media and other adult industry activities. She's even started her own company selling male enhancements. As far as I can tell, she is still active, and appears to be doing quite well, even though she stopped doing porn videos for studios. But she also says she is still doing some boy/girl videos with her husband for social media. So did she retire from the adult industry? No. She is more involved in the adult industry than ever before. She's taking a much more active role, instead of just performing in adult videos.

A few US theaters are opening. To test the waters. But I'd rather be safe than sorry. I doubt I will go to a theater until 2021 at the earliest. Maybe there will be a vaccine by then, or the virus will slowly disappear. -------- -------- Variety May 15, 2020 6:57pm PT U.S. Theatrical Releasing Slowly Returning With 200 Locations Open Chang Tseng Movie theaters in the North America are slowly coming back to life with about 200 locations open as of Friday — nearly double last weekend’s total, Comscore is reporting. Drive-in movie locations are dominating the landscape with about 150 of the nation’s 306 drive-in locations now open, acccoding to Comscore. About 50 brick-and-mortar locations are now open. Texas has by far the biggest number of open locations with 29 including several brick-and-mortar locations. Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma and South Dakota — where the state governments have begun easing social distancing requirements stemming from the coronavirus pandemic — have also opened brick-and-mortar locations. The nation’s three largest chains — AMC, Regal and Cinemark — closed in mid-March as concerns grew about the pandemic. Most theaters are not expected to open until mid-summer with no major releases set to launch until July 17 when Warner Bros. is currently scheduled to open Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet.” Disney plans to open its live-action “Mulan” on July 24. Reporting of grosses has been sporadic. IFC reported that horror film “The Wretched” had the top gross in May with $211,957. That’s followed by $19,802 for IFC’s “How to Build a Girl,” a comedy starring Beanie Feldstein in a film adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s 2014 semi-autobiographical novel about an awkward teen turned music critic. Comscore also reported that the top-grossing drive-in during the April 24-May 13 period was the Mission Tiki in Montclair, Calif., which saw a 193% jump in year-to-year business. The site, located about 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, held an informal premiere on May 1 for “The Wretched.” The Starlight 4 in Atlanta was second on the list, followed by the Redwood 4 in West Valley, Utah, the Twilight in Aldergrove, B.C., the Galaxy in Ennis, Tx., the Holiday Twin in Fort Collins, Co., the Auto in Greenwood, S.C., and the Hounds in Kings Mountain, N.C.

US citizens fighting for the right to be free. A 5-year old boy, whose evil mother told the boy he couldn't have a Lamborghini, decided that freedom is the right to express yourself (just like in the classic Madonna song). So he got into the family car and started to drive to California. But a Utah Highway Patroll trooper stopped the boy on the freeway. The boy should start a Go-Fund-Me campaign to buy his dream Lamborghini. Also, to sue his parents (or maybe only his evil mother) for refusing to buy a Lamborghini. In this welfare state, all 5-year-old kids should have the right to own their own exotic sports cars. ----------- ----------- 5-year-old boy pulled over in Utah while driving to California to buy a Lamborghini NBC News Minyvonne Burke May 5th 2020 2:05PM A 5-year-old boy from Utah wanted his mother to buy him a Lamborghini, and since she refused, he got in her car and attempted to drive to California himself to purchase one. The child's planned multistate journey, however, ended roughly five minutes after he took the car when a Utah Highway Patrol trooper pulled him over on the freeway Monday around noon. In a dash-cam video released by the department, the SUV the boy is driving is seen weaving across the freeway as cars and semi-trucks whizz past. The child pulls over to the shoulder of the road after the trooper activates his sirens. "How old are you? You're 5 years old?" the trooper is heard saying. "Wow ... Where did you learn to drive a car?" Image: Utah Highway Patrol Utah Highway Patrol The boy said he had left his home in Ogden after he got into an argument with his mother because he wanted a Lamborghini and she told him no, according to a tweet by the highway patrol. "He decided he'd take the car and go to California to buy one himself. He might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3 dollars in his wallet," the tweet read. The luxurious sports cars can start as low as $200,000, depending on the model. Highway Patrol Lt. Nick Street told NBC affiliate KSL in Salt Lake City that when trooper Rick Morgan stopped the vehicle he thought it was going to be an impaired driver, not a child. Morgan said when he approached the SUV, the little boy was sitting on the edge of the seat so he could reach the pedals. His head barely reached the headrest behind the steering wheel. The child only drove for about five minutes from his home to the freeway when he was stopped, KSL reported. "I helped him get the car into park, shut the vehicle down and then we started to look for means to contact his parents," the trooper said. The Highway Patrol was able to reach the boy's family, who said his parents were at work and had left him in the care of a sibling. Street said no one was hurt and it's not believed that any property was damaged, but the boy's parents could still face charges. "We're counting our blessings (nobody was hurt) but that doesn't mean a high-risk situation that put a lot of people's lives in jeopardy (didn't occur)," he said. "Based on that, we'll talk with the county attorney and see what charges they would like filed or screened with them and we'll do that."

The new version will not be available in the US, if at all, until a later date. The new version should be watched for Ornella Muti, the gorgeous babe who should have inherited her father's empire of the known universe. And if Muti can overcome her wimpy tendencies, and assume the title of Merciless Empress of the Universe, she can have Flash Gordon, Prince Barin and all her enemies put into the afterburner, where their vaporized flesh can power her drive to divine levels of sex. A beauty like hers deserves a harem of male lovers to support her every desire. --------- --------- ‘Flash Gordon’ Getting a 4K Restored Blu-ray Collector’s Edition This Summer Posted on Sunday, May 10th, 2020 by Ethan Anderton Flash Gordon 4K The campy sci-fi classic Flash Gordon is finally getting the proper home video release it deserves. Based on the comic strip of the same name by Alex Raymond, the movie directed by Mike Hodges, starring Sam J. Jones, and featuring an epic soundtrack from the rock band Queen was a bit of a box office flop back in 1980 that attempted to capitalize on the popularity of sci-fi in the wake of the success of Star Wars. But now the movie is a cult classic, and it’s getting a 4K restoration that will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD this summer. Flash Gordon 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD The footage of Flash Gordon in 4K is incredible in this trailer. Melody Anderson, Ornella Muti, Max Von Sydow, Topol, Timothy Dalton, Mariangela Melato and Brian Blessed never looked so good in this gloriously cheesy flick. On top of the 4K restoration of the movie, there will be a slew of special features available, as well as some cool collectible items if you buy the five-disc collector’s edition. Every edition also features the below artwork created by artist Matt Ferguson. And as of now, it’s not available to be shipped to the United States. However, there’s a chance it could end up being released in the US through a different distributor, or at the very least, maybe other online retailers will snatch some copies to sell across the pond. Michigan state senator denies his face mask is a Confederate flag. Says it's more like a Kentucky or Tennessee flag, even though he is a Michigan state senator. But the mask does not look like the Kentucky state flag. Or much like the Tennessee state flag. Then he said we need to know US history, and that's part of US history. Then he said we need to know what that flag stands for. And we must never do those atrocities again. Then he changed his story again, and said it was an error to wear the mask, and there were no excuses. But he's learned from this episode. Only wear the mask in private. With no selfies. And no white hoods like I might have inherited from my Klu Klux Klan forbears. --------- --------- Lawmaker apologizes for face mask that looks like Confederate flag NBC News Nicole Acevedo Apr 25th 2020 11:09PM A Michigan state senator has apologized for showing up to the state Capitol wearing a face mask that appeared to depict the Confederate flag. "I’m sorry for my choice of pattern on the face mask I wore yesterday on the Senate floor. I did not intend to offend anyone; however, I realize that I did, and for that I am sorry," Republican Senator Dale Zorn tweeted Saturday morning, adding that he doesn't support "the things this pattern represents." WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan first reported that Zorn wore a red mask with blue stripes and white stars on the state Senate floor on Friday. He initially told the local news station that the face covering, made by his wife, didn't depict the Confederate flag, and was more similar to the Kentucky or Tennessee flag. “I told my wife it probably will raise some eyebrows, but it was not a Confederate flag,” Zorn said. AdChoices He also said that "even if it was a Confederate flag, you know, we should be talking about teaching our national history in schools, and that’s part of our national history." "It’s something we can’t just throw away because it is part of our history. And if we want to make sure that the atrocities that happened during that time doesn’t happen again, we should be teaching it. Our kids should know what that flag stands for,”Zorn told WLNS-TV on Friday. On Saturday, Zorn deemed his actions "an error in judgment for which there are no excuses." "I will learn from this episode,” he tweeted.

I'm starting to see photos of porn stars with health masks and bandana masks. The next fashion could be models in full surgical gowns, or in hazmat suits. Maybe there will be porno zombie videos coming our way. But I prefer the natural look, so it's not really my niche to see lovely young models with lots of blood and scary make-up. Vampire videos would be OK, if done well. I'm wondering how many porn sites will be shutting down, because of lack of new content, or lack of members?

Richard Gere has second baby with his new wife. He's 70, she's 37. So sex continues after 50. Even after 60. ------ ------ Richard Gere, 70, and wife Alejandra Silva, 37, welcome baby No. 2 Us Magazine Nicholas Hautman Apr 23rd 2020 10:28AM It’s a boy! Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, welcomed their second child together, ¡Hola! magazine reports. The activist, 37, recently gave birth at the couple’s ranch in Pound Ridge, New York, according to the magazine. The news comes just 14 months after the actor, 70, and Silva welcomed their first child together, a son named Alexander. Gere is also the father of son Homer, 20, with his second wife, actress Carey Lowell, to whom he was married from 2002 to 2016. He was previously wed to supermodel Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995. Silva, for her part, shares son Albert, 7, with her ex-husband, mining magnate Govind Friedland. The Pretty Woman star and the publicist were family friends for years, but they did not start dating until 2014 when they ran into each other at a hotel in Italy that she was managing at the time. The pair quietly married in April 2018 and held a celebration with family and friends the following month at their New York home. “The ceremony was beautiful,” the bride later told Hola! “We exchanged rings carried by our children. It was so exciting! I have to confess that I shed big tears.” Gere and Silva announced in September 2018 that they were expecting their first child together. She gave birth to Alexander in February 2019. Us Weekly confirmed that they had another little bundle of joy on the way that November. The Spain native has said that she is not bothered by the 33-year age difference between her and her husband. She told Hola! in 2018, “It had to be that way in this lifetime. He has promised me at least 20 good years! But I have to confess that he has much more energy than me, is much more active. It’s hard to keep up with him. … He’s not human!” Us Weekly has reached out to Gere’s rep for comment.

Although Trump is not a medical doctor, people everywhere are aware that he is a stable genius, one of the brightest minds in the known universe. As such, Trump has indicated a cure for virus. And should be the next winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for Humanitarian and Medical Advances. In gratitude for his selfless acts, I am nominating Trump as the first king of the United States of America. And his daughter Ivanka as first princess of our great country. Warning: Do not try this at home unless under strict medical supervision. Injecting bleach into your body can be dangerous (bleach is a poison if ingested). And powerful ultraviolet rays can damage your skin. But maybe X-Rays would be a better alternative? Enquiring minds want to know. Can we steal into hospitals and dental labs, and self-medicate with an unused X-Ray machine? ------- ------- Trump floats treating coronavirus patients with light and disinfectants Yahoo News David Knowles Apr 23rd 2020 8:18PM At an unusually contentious briefing Thursday of the coronavirus task force, President Trump floated the idea that people infected with COVID-19 might be treated using injections of disinfectant and applications of ultraviolet light. Trump brought up those theories in the context of a presentation by William Bryan, a scientist at the Department of Homeland Security, about research indicating that the virus can be killed on surfaces and in aerosols by heat, humidity, sunlight and disinfectants, specifically bleach and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. None of the medical experts at the briefing suggested that these were plausible treatments for people already infected. "Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light. And I think you said that hasn't been checked, but we're going to test it,” Trump said. “And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, either through the skin or some other way." As Bryan looked on uncomfortably, the president went on to speculate about the possibility of using disinfectants as a treatment. “And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and does a tremendous number on the lungs,” Trump continued. “It would be interesting to check that. That you're gonna have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me, so we’ll see." Asked directly whether Trump’s suggestion that injecting bleach or using light to treat COVID-19 made sense, Bryan said his laboratory was not pursuing those ideas. The temperatures Bryan’s laboratory had been researching in terms of their effect on coronavirus were in the range of 70 to 95 degrees. Normal body temperature is 98.6. Trump, who has long held out hope that the virus would “disappear” as springtime temperatures began to rise in the U.S., touted Bryan’s findings as proof that he had been right all along. At the same time, the president said he had not read new studies that seemed to show that the drugs hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir, which he has championed despite a lack of clinical trials, were not effective in treating COVID-19. Pressed by reporters on whether Bryan’s findings were enough to guarantee that it was safe to re-open the country in the coming weeks, Trump then dialed back expectations. “I hope people enjoy the sun and if it has an impact that’s great,” Trump said. “I’m just hearing this, not really for the first time, there’s been a rumor that, a very nice rumor that you go outside in the sun or you have heat and that does have an affect on other viruses. But now we get it from one of the great laboratories in the world, I have to say.” The president then returned to his theory that light and heat might be harnessed to treat patients sickened by the coronavirus. “I would like you to speak to the medical doctors to see if there’s any way that you can apply light and heat to cure, you know? If you could, and maybe you can, maybe you can’t,” Trump said. “Again, I say, maybe you can, maybe you can’t. I’m not a doctor, but I’m like a person who has a good — you know what.” Trump then turned to Dr. Deborah Birx, one of the leading scientific experts on the task force, and asked, “Have you ever heard of that?” “Not as a treatment,” Birx responded. “I mean, certainly fever is a good thing. When you have a fever it helps your body respond.” “I think it’s a great thing to look at,” Trump added. When the Washington Post’s Phil Rucker then told Trump that people tuned into the briefings not to hear rumors, but to learn useful information, Trump responded, “I’m the president and you’re fake news.” Dismayed physicians, however, took to Twitter during the briefing to warn patients off of using common cleaning products to ward off the coronavirus. Hi, ER Doc here. Do NOT inject or consume ANY disinfectants in an attempt to kill COVID19. — Sam Ghali, M.D. (@EM_RESUS) April 23, 2020

This is a simple primer on how the coronavirus will be treated in the movie industry once filming is allowed again. But it just goes to show you that the coronavirus is not going to disappear into the sunset in a short while. ---------- ---------- https://deadline.com/2020/04/how-hollywo...rs-crews-1202908471/ Reopening Hollywood: From Insurance To Testing, Crowd Scenes & Craft Services, Here Are The Pandemic Problems Studios Are Trying To Solve Before The Restart By Nellie Andreeva, Mike Fleming Jr April 15, 2020 2:36pm Editor’s Note: As Deadline continues its Coping With COVID-19 Crisis series on the struggles of people in the entertainment industry impacted by the coronavirus-related shutdowns and layoffs, today we launch a new series, Reopening Hollywood, focused on the incredibly complicated effort to get the industry back on its feet while ensuring the safety of everyone involved. We intend to examine numerous sides of the business; if you have suggestions about things to consider, please leave a comment. On Tuesday, Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled a six-point guide to how California will reopen its economy as officials weigh lifting restrictive orders designed to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Entertainment is a major portion of the California economy and, with the production shutdown just crossing the one-month mark and layoffs, furloughs and paycuts implemented by reeling studios, there has been a growing discussion among executives and producers about how to ease back into production, along with the big challenges a return poses — from keeping everyone safe to securing an insurance policy, filming crowds and exteriors, and determining what content is appropriate to show in a society changed by the coronavirus. We are still months away from cameras rolling — studios’ most optimistic projections are for July-August production restarts, and the more realistic ones are aiming to be up and running by September. California is still under a stay-at-home order, which currently expires on May 15. There are many different issues we will cover, starting today with the resumption of location and soundstage shoots. Getting up and running again in this brave new world is going to be very difficult to navigate. For one thing, insurers are unlikely to cover productions for COVID-19 cases when business resumes, according to multiple sources in the know. Producers all over filed multimillion-dollar claims triggered when civil authorities — governments — prevented filming from continuing and forcing production shutdowns. When the business starts up, that will now be considered an identified risk, and insurers will not cover it, sources said, just as CDC is warning of a second coronavirus wave. What does that mean? Most likely, everyone on a film or TV production will be required to sign a rider, similar to ones they sign covering behavior codes in areas like sexual harassment, to indemnify the productions. “You acknowledge you are going into a high-density area, and while we will do our best effort to protect you, nothing is failsafe and if you contract COVID-19, we are not liable,” said a source involved drawing up these guidelines. “There is no other way we can think of to address this. If you don’t want to sign, don’t take the job.” Conversations about how to return to production began ramping up late last week amid stabilizing levels of new COVID-19 cases and deaths in Los Angeles County, boosted by an encouraging drop in new infections over the weekend. Unfortunately, the optimism was short lived — Tuesday and Wednesday brought record spikes in deaths– but discussions continue because the business cannot begin to recover until an industry goes back to work. So far, there are no protocols on which studios have settled, but active discussions continue, including with the film commissions in New York and Los Angeles, we hear. AMPTP and IATSE are leaning in hardest here to map lists of safety concerns and solutions, and every major studio in Hollywood has top people trying to figure out every scenario that needs to be addressed before shows can get up and running. The same conversations are taking place in other areas that touch the business, from the offices where people work and congregate, to hotspot eateries and movie theaters. Nothing will happen until jurisdictions relax regulations that currently don’t allow gatherings of 20 or more people. Anticipating that will happen in a month or two, here are some of the key issues that are being figured out right now in film and TV production: There will be no ideal way to ensure a completely safe set, but this is what might happen right away. Everyone will be tested before they are allowed onto a set. While not as accurate as traditional swab tests that take days to process, rapid antigen tests are the best possible option as they provide results within 15-20 minutes. Their daily use on sets is predicated on the availability of testing kits without taking them away from first responders and hospitals. Additionally, productions are expected to employ, when possible, antibody tests that detect immunity if a person had already had the virus. There will be a health questionnaire, a temperature check and hygiene training (sneeze into the crook of your elbow), and health professionals will be hovering to check for fever or symptoms, with those who exhibit them subject to quarantine. This process is expected to add up to an hour and a half to each person’s arrival time, though those whose antibody tests show they have some immunity, it is possible they won’t have to be tested every day. Now, there are legal hurdles and privacy issues that come into play in all of this, but it’s envisioned that whether you are above or below the line, you are going to have to submit to this scrutiny before you are handed masks and gloves to put on while you are on the set. “No one will want to, or should, report back to any environment they don’t feel safe in,” a top TV producer said. The set you enter will be different from the pre-pandemic sets. You will not be allowed to share hand tools of any kind, so if you are building a set, there won’t be communal saws, screwdrivers or hammers. You’ll need your own. Craft services used to consist of a cafeteria-style meal, and snacks like communal bowls of peanuts and M&Ms. That will be history. Meals will only be doled out in single-serving pre-wrapped fashion, and there will be no shared utensils. Lunch breaks will have to be staggered, to cut down on density. There will be an extra level of protection built around actors whose health is crucial to keeping a production going and a crew employed. They are irreplaceable and, because of the nature of their work, actors cannot be in front of the camera wearing protective equipment. To keep them safe, below the line personnel coming into contact with actors or directors will have to wear masks and gloves at all times. Offices and bathrooms will no longer have doorknobs or handles that need to be touched to open them; it will be swinging doors, from now on. The sparkling water cooler? It requires the push of a button so that won’t work. And since no one wants to be responsible for an accumulation of plastic bottles, boxed water is the most likely option. You will not be allowed to share cell phones, and a crew will be hired to disinfect the set each day. There is talk of productions commandeering entire hotels to create safe zones where those working on a movie or TV production can stay and congregate. Even then, the rigorous testing process will have to be done at the start of every week, since those working on series and films will go home to families, and maybe to bars and restaurants. The hope is that the testing will allow actors to engage in intimate scenes, but crowd scenes that call for a multitude of extras to be sandwiched into a frame — around the movie or TV show’s star — will be a major issue. One possibility is the more liberal use of LiDAR for visual effects. A city can be digitally re-created, down to the last cobblestone, and actors can be green-screened into a frame, into that crowd of extras. The priority will always be to keep the stars of TV shows and movies from getting sick. While the expectation would be that production in far-flung locations would dissipate once the production business reopens, sources said that’s likely not going to be the case. “The economics right now are worse than they have ever been, and the box office muted, so it is a double whammy and without the incentives and rebates that come with shooting outside the U.S., you could not absorb the extra costs,” said a source. “The hard part is, you go around the world looking for the best tax incentives and put movies in Budapest, Serbia and Australia, and now you have to tell an A-list actor they have to get on a plane for eight hours to spend 16 weeks away. What if they get sick there? How do you get them to feel safe?” For TV shows, we hear there is talk to potentially limit shoots to studio lots, including the CBS Radford Studios, which offer some exteriors in addition to sound stages. They don’t have the same level of authenticity as filming on actual streets, but compromises will have to be made to increase safety if productions are to get back up before a coronavirus vaccine is widely available. Even filming on lots won’t be as straightforward as flipping a switch once the stay-at-home orders are lifted. We hear some studio facilities are considering not allowing filming for two months after the state quarantine is over because of insurance concerns. CONTINUED IN NEXT REPLY:

Trump is a man with a heart of gold. The Treasury department is sending stimulus checks to dead people. Are Treasury officials watching zombie movies, thinking that zombies will rise to cash their checks? Stay tuned for further updates. ------ ------ Stimulus cash is being sent to dead people. Their loved ones can probably keep it. NBC News Sahil Kapur and Josh Lederman Apr 17th 2020 5:52PM WASHINGTON — Jeanne Siracuse didn't know what to do when she got a notification this week that $1,200 had been deposited into her mother's account. Her mother died last August. "Obviously, she does not need stimulus right now," Siracuse said by phone from her home in Northern Virginia. "It's not something she would have wanted to happen. She was very conservative and would not want to see that kind of waste." Relatives of dead Americans all over the country are receiving coronavirus relief payments from the U.S. Treasury Department on behalf of the loved ones this week. Many are confused. Was it a mistake? Are they required to send it back? Some of them have already tried to. Either way, they can rest easy. The U.S. government plans to allow heirs or spouses of dead people to keep the money, a source familiar with the matter said. A Treasury spokesperson declined to comment but said guidance on the matter is forthcoming. "We don't want it," Siracuse said of the money, adding that she plans to return it herself with a $1,200 donation from her mother's estate to Treasury. "It's not who this stimulus was supposed to benefit." Peter Moreau of The Woodlands, Texas, said his mother also got a direct deposit, even though she died in January and her death was reported to the Social Security Administration. "This is messing up my efforts to close mom's estate since I don't have any idea what to do with it,” he said in an email. Anecdotes from relatives of the deceased have spread online this week, rankling some Americans who are desperately waiting on their cash transfer so they can pay bills as joblessness rises amid the economic toll of the coronavirus. Ryan Ellis, a tax lobbyist and preparer, said he has heard from two clients whose dead relatives have been given payments. "There is an inverse correlation between speed and accuracy. We wanted these fast. Accuracy is necessarily de-emphasized," he said. "We could have had it accurate and slow, or less accurate and fast. In a crisis, it's a no-brainer to pick the latter." A Trump administration official said the government is looking into the possibility that the CARES Act, as written, may actually authorize payments for people who died this year or last year, if they would have otherwise been eligible in 2019 for the payment. The $2 trillion CARES Act passed by Congress last month doesn't explicitly address the question, although it specifies that "an estate or trust" is not eligible for a payment. But the law bases eligibility on people's tax returns in 2019 or 2018. It's unclear how that applies to people who, based on their 2019 taxes, were otherwise eligible but died at some point during that year. One congressional aide said there's no provision in the law to claw back the money and that doing so would mean taking money away from widows and widowers. And even if the government wanted to collect the funds, it may be more effort than it's worth, said Ellis: "Are we going to audit the closed estates and heirs for $1,200? I don’t think so." Chye-Ching Huang, a fiscal policy expert at the progressive Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, said a similar situation occurred with stimulus payments in 2008 and that the heirs of the deceased were able to keep the money. "This is exactly what we would have expected as the IRS is following their consistent procedures in the case of a taxpayer death," she said. Erin Kurinsky’s mother in Sanford, Fla., was expecting a $1,200 stimulus payment, but she didn't expect an extra $1,200 for her husband, Brendan O’Halloran, who died in May 2019. Kurinsky's mother had already filed her taxes for 2019 and changed her status from joint to individual following her husband’s death. "She doesn't know what to do with it. I said, 'Mom, just leave it there, they'll take it back some day," Kurinsky said. "She doesn't even need the $1,200. She said, 'Someone else could use it more than I could.'" The Social Security Administration maintains a Death Master File with records of deaths that have been reported to the federal government. The file includes the deceased person's name, dates of birth and death, and Social Security number. Last year, a report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found that the Social Security Administration "provides the entire death file" to the IRS. The Treasury Department also maintains a "Do Not Pay" tool intended to help federal agencies avoid making payments to people and entities that are ineligible. Kurisnky said all the paperwork documenting her dad's death and settling his accounts had been filed more than half a year ago. "The Social Security Administration knows that my father is deceased," she said.
