I notice that some sites now, especially some of the arty-nude sides, are offering very high resolution images, eg Hegre Art has 8000px files - which I'm obviously missing the point of. I've got a large-ish 22" monitor which is 1920px wide; even my wife's obscene 27-inch iMac is 'only' 2560px. (Alas she disapproves of smut and so I don't get to look at pics on it  )Obviously, it means you can zoom in; and see more detail; but even then, you can still only see one screenful at a time, and have to pan/scroll around it. But my view is that, if the photographer is good, they should frame accordingly, and offer a good mix of full-body shots and close-ups, giving you enough detail in eg 2000px. The only other advantage I can think of is printing, where good large-format printers can render (and you can see) about 200 dpi; allowing you to print a pin-sharp 40-inch print from 8000px. Cant see that anyone would bother though  Anyway, feel free to enlighten me on what I'm not seeing! | |

From samples and clips I've seen, there are some UK sites that have some girls reasonably adept at dirty talk. Eg Vintage Flash, Pantyhosed4U, Suburban Amateurs. I agree wholeheartedly about the eyes! Of course I like to see (quite a bit) more, but a girl's eyes are what does it for me and a hint of what's to come in them (oo-eer) can make me harder than anything else. Am a big fan of modern pinups - eg models like Angela Ryan and Mosh - they could teach many a porn starlet the value of a sultry and seductive look! | |

Having built a number of ecommerce sites, I'd agree with the above - I generally have a merchant account (an account directly with the credit card company) so I'd do the billing directly - this is always cheaper since you only pay the card company. But for folk that can't get one (company credit history etc is required), they use an intermediary like that, who will charge a percentage on top of the standard card processing fee. Of course, most so-called mainstream businesses would use eg Paypal or WorldPay or something like that, that folk were familiar with; many might not have heard of CCBill, so regardless of jeans and plaid sweaters (which could easily be quite a turn-on for me) I suspect the bulk of their business is in adult sites. I do a lot of online shopping and have never come across them outside of porn, anyway! And even for large adult sites that could easily do their own billing, CCBill is well-known in our, er, area of interest, so just as other businesses might use PayPal, adult sites using CCBill put customers more at ease than just giving your card details directly to the site. messmer, thanks for the tip for Suburban Amateurs - looks like they have some models in common with Vintage Flash. And whereas I'm used to a British accent, it does seem that some of our girls here have a way with words Capn too, thanks for pointing me to more ideas; seems we are on roughly the same page, although I quite enjoy the masturbation as long as they take at least while to tease and get started. BabyGetReal has hit the nail on the head, at least for me. I find the Japanese girls very attractive, but in the majority of porn I've seen, once they get down to it, they just don't seem like they are enjoying it. As you say, it's all that mewling  and even in the most vanilla of material, there seems to be a theme of degradation which doesn't do it for me.It's a big industry there and I'm sure most involved are professionals, so I can only concur that's what folk want to see? I concur with the OP too - on one hand, yes, I do like some explicit content. But - and call me old-fashioned - I think the sexiest parts of a girl are eyes and smile! So yes, I do like to see girls, er, enjoy themselves, but also to look as if they are enjoying themselves. Granted it's may be acting, but then so is non-porn film and TV. Hi folks... relatively new to porn sites (at least to considering subscribing to any), having had more than a passing interest in racy photography books over the last few years.
