I think a better award would be the best review of the month survey. Or a best review of the 2-3-4-whatever best review of the months survey. Quality over quantity. Best reviews are more meaningful than how active a member might be. Just my opinion. And trying to analyze or rank member contributions to the site is difficult, to say the least. Whereas, ranking the value of a review is simpler. Not simple, but simpler than trying to figure out how much a member contributes to the PU site. | |

An eight-page resolution calls for open hearings and requires the House Intelligence Committee to submit a report outlining its findings and recommendations, with a final recommendation on impeachment left to the Judiciary Committee. Republicans would be allowed to request subpoenas, but such requests would ultimately be subject to a vote by the full committee, which Democrats control as the House majority. Democratic Rep. James McGovern of Massachusetts, the chairman of the House Rules Committee, said the resolution provides "a clear path forward" as the House begins a public phase of the impeachment inquiry, which up to this point has largely consisted of closed-door interviews. "This is a sad time for our country," McGovern said. "None of us came to Congress to impeach a president, but each of us took a solemn oath to protect and defend the Constitution." "The president's Republican allies in Congress have tried to hide the president's conduct, but the American people will now see the facts firsthand," he added. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said the resolution merely "confirms that House Democrats' impeachment has been an illegitimate sham from the start as it lacked any proper authorization by a House vote." The resolution "does nothing to change the fundamental fact that House Democrats refuse to provide basic due process rights to the administration," she said, adding that the White House is barred from participating at all until after the intelligence panel "conducts two rounds of one-sided hearings to generate a biased report for the Judiciary Committee." Separate language covering Judiciary proceedings allows for Trump and his lawyers to attend all Judiciary presentations and hearings. Trump's lawyers will be allowed to question any witness, according to a copy of the proposed Judiciary proceedings obtained by The Associated Press. The president can call witnesses if the committee agrees the testimony is "necessary or desirable to a full and fair record in the inquiry," the three-page document says. The Judiciary language is expected to be incorporated into the larger resolution before the House votes on impeachment proceedings Thursday. The impeachment inquiry is looking into Trump's July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in which he asked for a "favor" — to investigate a Democratic rival for president. Democrats say the request and other actions by the administration to push Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his family amounted to a quid pro quo for important military aid for Ukraine, providing sufficient grounds for impeachment. The House is expected to vote on the resolution Thursday amid complaints from Trump and his Republicans allies that the monthlong impeachment process is illegitimate and unfair. Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana, the No. 2 House Republican, denounced what he called a "Soviet-style impeachment process" led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif. More than 75% of House members have been unable to view what is happening in closed-door depositions conducted by the Intelligence panel and two other committees, Scalise said. "That represents more than 230 million Americans whose voices are denied right now," he said. Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, said Democrats "have basically cooked up a process they have been conducting in secret" with the goal of preventing Trump's lawyers from asking questions of witnesses. Democrats "are now attempting to sort of put a cloak of legitimacy around this process by saying they're going to bring it to a vote on the floor," Cheney said. "They can't fix it. The process is broken. It's tainted." Democrats insisted they were not yielding to Republican pressure and dismissed a GOP argument that impeachment can't begin without a formal House vote. Schiff and other Democrats defended the process and said the American people will soon hear from witnesses in an open setting, with transcripts of depositions already conducted set for public release. I've read there was a law that if a porn model does not have a tattoo, commonly called a tramp stamp, she is not a member of the World's Professional Porn Models. But there is no law that states that porn models, whether webcam or not, needs a toy. Toys are a voluntary decision, made by the model or the porn director. Or maybe the model's boyfriend or girlfriend, in case the model wants a bit of extra excitement in her life. | |

Police in Fresno, California, say that three different official departments have ruled the shooting justified. The surveillance camera footage, provided by attorney Stuart Chandler, shows 16-year-old Isiah Murrietta Golding climb a fence and enter a small yard as he is being chased by two officers. Murrietta Golding, wearing a gray sweater, lands on his feet and starts to run. One officer climbs the fence while the other gets into a crouching stance and fires through the fence, the video shows. Murrietta Golding then stumbles and falls to the ground. In the police body camera footage, also provided by the attorney, someone off camera can be heard saying "good shot." Murrietta Golding's parents filed separate wrongful death lawsuits against the city of Fresno and several of its officers in March 2018. Chandler, who represents Murrietta Golding's father, said the suits were filed separately because the couple are divorced. The bullet went through the back of the teen's head, according to the father's lawsuit, and he died three days later. The lawsuit claims the officer who fired had no "objective facts" to believe that Murrietta Golding was armed or reaching for a weapon. The teen was unarmed, the lawsuit states. "The fact that the police department and the city of Fresno's police auditor all agreed that this shooting was justified is troubling in light of the video that clearly shows that it's not," Chandler told CNN. Lawsuit: Teen wanted for questioning Citing police statements, the father's lawsuit says that Murietta Golding was wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting one day earlier that had caused a fatal car crash. Fresno Police sought to question the teenager and pulled over a car in which he was a passenger, the lawsuit states. The teenagers in the car initially complied with police. But Murietta Golding then took off running, the lawsuit states, leading to the fatal chase. Fresno Police Chief Andrew Hall told CNN affiliate KSEE that the shooting was ruled justified by police's Internal Affairs Bureau, the Fresno County District Attorney's Office and the City of Fresno's Office of Independent Review. "The use of lethal force in this case occurred while officers were investigating a homicide. The 16-year-old in this case was involved in the homicide with his brother and the brother was later arrested and pled guilty," Hall said. Enquiring minds want to know... ------- ------- Rolling Stone October 25, 2019 3:04PM ET Trump Has Officially Weaponized the Justice Department to Go After His Rivals “I think you’re gonna see a lot of really bad things,” the president said By Ryan Bort President Trump has been trying to discredit the Justice Department’s investigation into his campaign’s relationship with Russia for most of his presidency. His attempts to do so have mostly come through his Twitter account and yelling over Marine One on the White House lawn. But when Attorney General William Barr took over the Justice Department in February, it quickly became clear federal law enforcement resources would be used to go after the people who conducted the probe. It didn’t take long. When Special Counsel Robert Mueller released his findings in April, Trump and Barr teamed up to misrepresent them. The following month, Barr tapped a John H. Durham, a U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to look into the origins of the investigation. Now, the New York Times reported on Thursday, Durham’s inquiry is no longer just an inquiry; it’s officially a full-scale criminal investigation. In other words, the Justice Department is now investigating itself in service of the president’s political agenda. When asked about the investigation Friday morning, Trump called Barr a “highly prestigious man” while defending the move to pursue criminal charges. “I think you’re gonna see a lot of really bad things,” he said. Though, as the Times notes, DOJ guidelines hold that there must be an “objective, factual basis for initiating [an] investigation,” it’s not clear what — if any — evidence Durham was able to uncover that led the DOJ to launch an investigation into the origins of the Russia probe. But the distinction will give Durham the ability to issue subpoenas and put together a grand jury to file criminal charges. What those charges might be are a mystery. Trump and his allies have propagated several baseless conspiracy theories that the Russia probe was launched illegally by Democrats working in tandem with corrupt officials within the Justice Department. Most recently, Trump has hammered the idea that Russia did not actually interfere in the election (despite that this has long been the conclusion of both Congress and the intelligence community), and that Putin was framed by Democrats upset Trump won the election. If this doesn’t sound like it makes much sense, it’s because it doesn’t, and it’s frightening to consider what kind of criminal charges Durham might try to wring out of the morass of reckless speculation surrounding the investigation’s origins that the president has tried to cram into reality. None of this is surprising. Trump has made it clear since taking office that he sees the Justice Department as a tool to carry out his personal agenda. He repeatedly attacked Jeff Sessions, his first attorney general, for not doing more to stymie the Russia investigation, ultimately forcing his resignation. His subsequent nomination of Barr, a noted critic of the investigation who had demonstrated extreme views on executive privilege, was considered a play to take a more offensive stance toward the inquiry. Like rearadmiral says, you can join a porn site for the cost of a single clip. So who is going to pay for those individual clips? The officer should have drawn his gun and shot the 11-year-old girl in self-defense. She was clearly a threat to not only the police officer, but to her fellow students and the school staff. A clean, kill-shot to the head or heart would have made the school a safer place. This was an intelligent cop. He was clearly heard saying "Stop resisting" multiple times. That alone justified him throwing the girl against the wall, and then forcing her to the ground. The cop also said the girl assaulted the school staff. But the school staff, the ninnies, denied they were assaulted. Don't they realize they are supposed to support their local police? Lapel video of the Aug. 27 incident involving Farmington police officer Zach Christensen, an 11-year veteran of the department released Monday, appears to show him shoving the crying sixth grader into a wall. The child then falls to the ground and Christensen can be heard yelling, "Stop resisting" multiple times. The officer continues to struggle with the girl, not allowing her to stand up while asking her to put her hands behind her back. I suggested earlier (a few weeks back?) that the first place prize in a raffle could be awarded to the most interesting or valuable or well-written review of the month. The PU members could vote on this, as well as the PU staff, or whatever. That award could be given at the end of the month, or the beginning of the next month raffle. How do you tell if a site or channel belongs to a third party domain? Is Teen Mega World a third party domain? Is LetsDoeIt a third party domain? Some of the networks seem to be calling their sites channels instead of sites. Since I don't work for a porn web site, I don't really understand if there is a technical distinction between a site and channel. As a porn consumer, I didn't think the difference between a site and channel was important. But if the PU site wants to make a distinction, what is it based on? I've noticed in the past that sites will occasionally delete content for some models. It appears to happen on a random basis. Whether the deletion is done at the request of the model is usually not given. No reason is given. Maybe if you're friendly with the webmaster you might send an email and enquire for the reason. Very rarely the deletion might be for an underage model. But there could be other reasons. I believe all the Grigori Galitsin content was deleted from MetArt around the time he was arrested in Russia. Galitsin was an early and important contributor to MetArt in its early days. But models sometimes have their content deleted from sites, and usually no reason is given. This has happened at MetArt, Hegre, etc. It happens. | |

The man was black, he was poor. He couldn't afford a high-priced lawyer. So he deserved to be in prison for a life sentence, for stealing $50. The smart ones steal millions, and if they are caught and found guilty, they serve a short sentence in a country club prison, with amenities. And their wives and husbands cry the blues, because their theft was hardly noticeable. Many judges say that being caught for a wealthy man is punishment enough, because it's a shameful thing. While the criminal who is poor has to admit that he is shamed by his crimes, because they have no pride to begin with. Yet, the law is the same for everyone: the rich and the poor. Or is it? Trump has a big heart. He says the firing of his personal assistant was automatic, because she said hurtful things about his kids. The remarks were off-the-record, but that didn't matter. It also doesn't matter that Trump has no problem separating parents from their kids if the parents are illegal immigrants. And he thinks it's good for the kids to be put in jail. Trump, in his tweet, cited the specific location of the site, saying the United States was not involved in the "catastrophic accident during final launch preparations for the Safir SLV Launch at Semnan Launch Site One in Iran." Speaking to reporters at the White House later on Friday, Trump defended his posting of the photo and reiterated that the United States had nothing to do with the incident. "We had a photo. I released it, which I have the absolute right to do," Trump said. He said the Iranians "were going to set off a big missile and it didn't work out too well. Li An Alabama man who has spent almost 36 years in prison after stealing $50 was released Friday under new sentencing guidelines that reset the state's three-strikes law. Alvin Kennard, 58, had been serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. But his sentence was changed to time served by Judge David Carpenter in Jefferson County on Wednesday. The state's Department of Corrections had to process Kennard out of the system, which is why he wasn't immediately released after the ruling. He was released from the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility, just outside of Bessemer, Alabama on Friday, the Alabama Department of Corrections said in a statement. "We've just been praying and trusting in God that this day would come and it's here, and we're so grateful to God," Kennard's niece Patricia Jones told NBC affiliate WVTM. Kennard was convicted of robbing a bakery Jan. 24, 1983, in a felony that netted him $50.75, the Birmingham News reported, citing court records. That bakery crime came after Kennard had previously broken into a vacant service station, leading him to plead guilty to three felony counts of burglary and larceny in 1979. Due to that previous conviction, he was sentenced to life behind bars under the three-strikes provision of Alabama's Habitual Felony Offender Act. But in 2013, the Alabama Sentencing Commission adopted new guidelines which, if they had been in place when Kennard robbed the bakery, would have made his previous crime not serious enough to trigger a life sentence without parole, defense lawyers said. Had these new standards been in place then, Kennard couldn't have been imprisoned for any more than 20 years, his attorney Carla Crowder said. He could have been eligible for parole after 10 years. Kennard told the judge Wednesday that he is still remorseful for his crimes. “I’m sorry for what I did," Kennard, dressed in orange-and-white jail garb, said. "I was wrong."
