So, I was thinking about the whole organizing the collection thing, and then I realized that the software probably already existed, as in Media Server Software. Enter Plex, a media server software with apps for your phone, your Roku, Playstation, tablet, and whatever else. Those of you with massive video and photo collections, you could set up a dedicated computer at home with access to all your hard drives, plug it into the internet, and boom: You've got unlimited access to your own collection no matter where you are in the world. It was designed for home and "traditional" movies and music, but it should work just fine for porn as well. If Plex doesn't look quite perfect, Emby is their competitor. Same idea. FYI: The new Chromecast Ultra will have full 4K capability and will only cost $69 (it is almost like they are marketing to porn consumers with that price tag.) $500 on Amazon can easily get you a 50" 4K Ultra TV — between the two, that's a lot cheaper than buying a new PC that can handle 4K videos easily. Eh, condom usage is pretty rare throughout porn because the audience doesn't like the look of it. Plus the taboo nature of unprotected sex often tickles people's fancy. There was a short uptick in usage during the 90s, but all of the major studios are rolling condom-free and have been for a long time. Even longtime hold out Kink.com has gone the way of no condoms. If you are interested about it a quick google search will find you tons of articles on both sides of the issue. Many female porn stars don't like it because the condoms abrade their vagina and make it so they can't perform as frequently. In the US the industry self-regulates with regular testing. I do not know how common STD testing is in porn made abroad. If you look into Tinto Brass's movies, or films shown on Cinemax, you may find what you are looking for. However, those will all be softcore. Perhaps a quick search for Tease sites will bring up something, but I doubt you'll find much in the category of a long tease and then hardcore sex (no sex is more likely). Most of the hardcore films' audience is looking for instant gratification. Personally, my own collection is themed around content quality more than following a singular theme. While I appreciate the dedication it takes to archive all pee content on the web, my digital is really for personal use with little interest in posterity. I do have vintage magazines, expensive photo books, and some hard copies of movies more directed more towards that purpose. The digital collection, on the other hand, shifts and evolves. Not too long ago I ejected almost all non-HD content from the collection, as it looked so blurry and just awful compared to the new material. That said, certain exceptional content made the cut despite its terrible format. The main thing is that my tastes in porn, as with my taste in all forms of entertainment, is very diverse. About the only thing you won't find in my archives is illegal porn and male-on-male porn. Pretty much everything else is represented with the exception of some extremely specific niches. I like to think all of the porn represented is of a high quality though, a curated selection. However, it isn't something I plan on sharing with the public. As for categorizing it, I've used multiple methods over the years, but these days I usually sort it by the source website with the exception of particular performers that I really admire or specific niches that would only have small amounts of content from any one site. I would like to use a content management system that would allow me to access my collection online, apply tags to each set or video, and sort them accordingly. Of course this would require a media server and some form of server-side processing like a PHP/ MSQL-based website, but I've never gotten around to actually setting such a thing up. Someday perhaps. I believe the most important reason for subscribing to a porn site, outside the obvious interest in supporting the creative talents responsible for your favorite porn, is having a voice in the future direction of said site. ATK makes it a point of responding to customers in the comments section and closely monitoring what people want. I try to check in with the forums at least once a month or so  Going from just memory (since I can't boot my Win pc and check) I think I was using rtmpDump with the SourceForge GUI: https://sourceforge.net/projects/rtmpdumpgui/ (I'm thinking now that I was wrong when I stated that site was using WebM...) I think what you may want to do instead is to use a program designed to download streaming video. I ran into this problem with Black GFs which doesn't offer any download options despite being owned by Brazzers, et al. I was using a program on my Windows PC (which is currently out of commission) that was able to intercept the stream and automatically download it at a faster rate than the video played, so I downloaded 20 movies in less than an hour. My guess is that you'll be running into mostly pay options, but some research might prove me wrong. Depending on the format of the stream, some programs will or will not work. As I recall, the problem I was running into was it was WebM which proved very difficult to download. So that would be step 1 is to identify the format they are using. G'luck. GGG used to be one of my absolute favorite sites, I still have a HUGE soft spot for them and would be very tempted to sign up again if I didn't get reminded every once in a while that they've been turned into a den of thieves. Is there any sign it is going to be any good? The first film of his with Chris Evans in the red, white, and blue, was pretty rough. The second wasn't much better. (Hydra is trying to kill a third of the human race, should we call the Avengers? Nah. They're probably busy... with stuff.) So I have little hope for this film. Frankly, most of these big budget superhero films of recent have been rather dull in my opinion. Every movie has to have multiple half-hour long giant battles of epic proportions. The movies don't even try to be shorter than 2 hours anymore — I feel like I'm paying nearly $20 go and watch somebody play a video game for 2 hours. Granted it has great graphics, but character development and plot are shoved aside for more explosions and more bad guys. I like a bit of spectacle, but I also want to be able to connect with the hero(s) on some level. I liked Whedon's first avengers, but the battle scene at the end went about 10 minutes too long. His second Avengers felt like one giant, continuous battle scene, and little else. They stopped for 3 seconds to drop the bombshell that Black Widow and the Hulk were dating, and then ran on. Plus Thor visited a cave. Nolan felt Batman was simply too badass to have just one villain in each of his films, instead opting for two or three major villains per film — and frankly, his films are still some of the most watchable of recent efforts (especially the 3rd, in an odd twist on the rules of trilogies). I still hold the first of RDJ's Ironman movies as the gold-standard because it was funny, human, interesting, and for a super hero movie, decidedly small. He didn't rain destruction down on half of humanity, he was fighting for control of his company, and he had to grow-up and not be as much of an asshole. Granted it was a rather elderly coming-of-age story, but it was one none-the-less. It didn't have a hundred different characters, it didn't have hours of endless CGI fueled battle scenes, it didn't place the entire world at the brink of destruction. It was trials and triumph of a flawed and interesting hero. Captain America was never a particularly interesting character (the adventures of America's best boy scout!) and while I think Evans does an admirable job of making him interesting, if you slap him in the middle of a film with a bunch of other characters, it all gets kind of muddy. So unless CA: CW gets the most glowing of glowing reviews, I think I'll pass. Maybe when its available on Netflix I'll check it out. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" How many people have actually watched those videos though? I personally don't know any women that have seen Pamela's video, and very few who have watched Kim K's. Through the documentary and other associated media, I know a number who have seen at least parts of Deep Throat. One can't argue with the notoriety of those sex tapes, but my guess is their viewing numbers can't compete with these classics just yet. If you were simply polling the younger generations, those sex tapes would probably come out on top, no pun intended, but once you factor in the remaining generations, I think the classics remain the clear winners for now, at least in North America. If you look at China, they have their own weirdly specific pornos that have swept the nation and are relatively unknown outside of China. Then there is the amateur nature of the sex tapes as well, do they actually qualify as a "porno"? Pamela's video was stolen property — I'm not sure how the legality of that one even works. Tittyshake would have to weigh in on the spirit of her initial question about the qualification of amateur tapes within the field of entries.

It is somewhat shocking that pornstars are only now beginning to be no longer a taboo career considering those 70s releases. That said, I suppose it was in the 80s that right-wing social conservatives took over the Republican party (maybe someday the GOP will recover from that) and there was a moral backlash against 70s rather casual approach to sex. That all combined with the rise of AIDS and the fears associated with that too. Hopefully pornography will be less-and-less taboo in the near future. Yup, what he said. Sadly. This is why I get really stressed when I hear that Intel is moving away from making computer processors and such. I understand that consoles have that "plug-n-play" advantage, but they are always years behind PCs in regards to graphics quality and customizability. To fully customize Skyrim, you pretty much need no less than 3 separate programs outside of the game. One of them is dedicated simply to advanced user interface control, another is dedicated to custom motions for the various animated elements. They've made it easier than it used to be, but it still requires some dedication to learn how the programs function and, if you are running a bunch of mods, making sure mods are interfering with each other. When I was playing Skyrim a lot (a few years ago), I was running about one hundred and forty separate mods simultaneously. Some of these were adding buildings or equipment, but most were designed to make the game more immersive, like better plants, weather effects, battles between warring factions, characters using torches at night, and so on. The inventiveness and attention to detail of Bethesda's modding communities boggle the mind. Now many of them are turning their attention to Fall-Out 4, but I haven't followed as the post-apocalyptic world of those games never captured my imagination in the same way as the worlds of The Elder Scrolls. Agreed — I can't take zombie's seriously. Even the original zombie movie had a good sense of humor, so these deadly serious movies are just eye-rollers for me. Same goes for all of the serious post-apocalypse movies as well. The recent Mad Max was indeed pretty, but I couldn't bring myself to care about any of the characters, they were all strangers to me. Tank Girl remains my favorite post-apocalypse movie to date. Anyway, in the spirit of the post, my choice would be Dani Daniels. She is quite bright and funny and seems like somebody I'd enjoy hanging out with in day-to-day life (she's an artist and very into food). Frankly, if I'm trying to survive in any form of post-apocalyptic world, I'd want my companion to be intelligent and a good conversationalist, because you can't spend all your time fucking and generally not every other minute of time will be spent in battle. Almost any porn star is reasonably fit (Dani is no exception), so all of them are good choices for a fighting ally. Veronica Rodriguez would be another top contender for me, but she is so damned small that she might be problematic for helping out. She is super athletic though, so that can make up for her small stature. She is very business minded and extremely organized, which can be quite helpful in emergency scenarios. I'm less informed about her personal interests outside of the porn industry, but she does seem generally good humored and enthusiastic, which would be good for keeping people's spirits up. Skyrim is already the 5th game in the series, but word on the street is the 6th game may hit shelves in the neighborhood of 2018. Rumor is that it may take place in Argonia. Since Argonia was always described in the books as a giant swamp, I'm hoping that part of the rumor is not accurate. Agreed! Nothing else comes close to the fame that movie received. "Debbie Does Dallas" is certainly in the top 5 though. "Behind the Green Door" was also quite famous, because of the Ivory Soap / Marilyn Chambers scandal.
That's interesting, I hadn't heard about that movie until now. I guess it goes to show how uncomfortable mainstream media remains about homosexuality despite it being 2016. Board Games Trivial Pursuit Genus I & II Settlers of Catan Card Games Hearts Magic the Gathering (if somebody else brings it, I don't own it) Cards Against Humanity (if everybody is drunk) PC Games Dishonored This is one of my favorite games of the past few years. I consider it the rightful heir to the Thief franchise (I'm ignoring the recent Thief disaster) and an interesting magic infused, steam-punk world with a strong storyline with 3-ish possible game endings. The expansion packs also nearly doubled the game in size and were made to the same high quality, allowing you to play as a different character that was closely tied to the main story. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim A worthy successor to the excellent Oblivion, Skyrim has enough in-game content out of the box to require 150 hours of game play to complete. However, it has multiple expansion packs and a prolific and talented fan base that have modified the game to make it into one of the largest and easily the most visually stunning games available today. Many of the mods require computers that cost many thousands of dollars to run as the processing required is that abusive to the computer. Saints Row 3 Sadly Saints Row 4 was kind of ruined by silly super powers and a matrix parody, but Saints Row 3 remains true to the original game as an absurdist, extravagant and deliriously fun parody of Grand Theft Auto while upgrading the graphics and fixing some of the gameplay mechanics of the earlier games. The writing is hilarious and the game is addictive. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 Hands down, these two games are some of the most entertaining, engrossing, and epic RPG games I've ever played. I've replayed both multiple times and plan to continue doing so. The storylines are interesting, but the characters are the true stars, excellent dialogue and you can make your main character as evil or as good (or in between) as you like. It is becoming ever more unlikely we'll see another one of these games, but fortunately the original two stand on their own and remain available. F.E.A.R. I don't generally like horror games, this is the exception. Despite its age, it features some of the best combat soldier AI I've ever encountered. Having played America's Army online and competed against real soldiers, these bots behaved similarly and were nearly as hard to defeat. Fortunately your character has a super-powered ace up their sleeve and is able to slow time so they can function at super-human speeds. Unfortunately you are also hunting down a telekinetic, telepathic superwoman who possesses the fractured mind of an abused child. Good luck not pissing yourself while you play this, in the middle of the day, with the lights on. Hitman: Blood Money This may end up being the last good Hitman game. Absolution was a complete shit show, granting 47 the ability to see through walls and other silly super powers, and all but a few of the level designs were linear, follow-the-signs, type affairs. Blood Money included a strong story arc, missions with many, many different solutions, and a finale that was so iconic and so difficult that I honestly believed at the time it was released that the developers might have been waving goodbye to the series. The newest Hitman game is being released episodically and isn't expected to be completed until January of 2017, but early reviews are not looking good. Platform Games Super Smash Bros. and all the follow-up games. These are mindless fun that require a lot of skill to become good at. Adult Games We are in an era of the Adult Game Renaissance because Patreon has allowed a ton of small independent game developers to be funded by a small, loyal fan base. I personally am supporting 9 creators with monthly donations of between $1 ~ $10 (specifically ViperV, Pokkaloh, leave2gether, Marble Syrup, Anonymous Man, Pyorgara, Palaverous, Palmer, and Splendid Ostrich.) It all started with Off Beater trying to support adult creators, but when that site closed it's shop, creators, now realizing that there were paying customers out there, moved over to the more legitimate Patreon (which was NOT intended for adult content) and found that in some cases they can quit their jobs and make this their occupation. Fenoxo (who I supported on a different site) is earning $19,000 a month through Patreon. He spreads the wealth around to various writers, artists, and developers, but DAMN! So there is a ton of interesting Adult Games out there and I recommend following their development on the various forums out there. (The Shark's Lagoon is a personal favorite.) I would love for some sources for the illegality of filming pornography. I know Florida has some strict obscenity laws so despite the large amount of filming done there, I could imagine it being illegal - or a grey area at best. Max Hardcore learned the hard way about Florida's laws. A lot of people do believe that for the reasons you've stated. Unfortunately it often isn't the case because eating can create micro-tears which provide direct access to the bloodstream. Most people think vaginal and anal sex are the highest risk factors for transmission of STIs and so they only employ condoms during those activities. Risk factors obviously vary on a case-by-case basis, but often people are at their most vulnerable for transmission during oral, and yet protection is very rarely used.
I agree that the high rate of STIs and STDs within the industry is not discussed, not disclosed, and better education needs to be provided to the newbies. As porn becomes more and more mainstream, it needs to behave more and more like a responsible employer. Studios need to inform and train their employees, even if they are classified as independent contractors. Sometimes performers are only in the industry for a matter of months and may not be aware that they probably picked up a smorgasbord of STIs. That needs to stop. Cheating the tests with high powered antibiotics needs to stop. Unfortunately, condom use is a matter of consumer demand. So that will require a change of public opinion that happened for a little while in the late 90s, but has reverted back. Kink.com for awhile required condoms on the set no matter what the performers preferred. It was a requirement of working for them. Consumer demand is a powerful motivator though and even they crumbled under its weight. Here's another interesting article with an interview with Eric Paul Leue of Kink.com that discusses disease in the porn industry and brings up two interesting points. Firstly, that condoms aren't as effective at eliminating disease transmission as people think (70% effective for anal sex) and that PrEP is more effective (99%). Secondly, condom use increases transmission risks for women if they have unprotected sex after recently using a condom and it reduces the frequency that they can work within industry because of abrasion and micro-tears within the vaginal cavity. Numerous women in the industry prefer condomless sex because of this problem. We need better condoms. I too read Mike South's article (available here) but the only thing that concerns me in it is the improper use of antibiotics, as that is the way antibiotic resistant diseases are created. I'm neither shocked nor worried that the majority of performers are infected with non-HIV STDs. Frankly, the discussion of herpes in Mr. South's article is outdated, for if you count up both forms of herpes simplex (that's HSV-1 and HSV-2) then approximately 90% of the worldwide population is a carrier. If only 80% of pornstars are carriers, they are actually cleaner than the average population. Not to mention that herpes is actually a rather benign disease that is mostly responsible for causing some little red bumps, which can be hard to distinguish from all the other little red bumps on our bodies (pimples, ingrown hairs, bug bites, et cetera). Also, requiring just condoms wouldn't be effective. The condom certainly helps, but without the dental dam, you are effectively endangering all performers that perform cunnilingus. To really be as safe as possible, you would indeed need to require dental dams, rubber gloves, and for the more exuberant scenes, eye protection. But the fact remains that pornstars aren't average people. They don't have normal jobs. They are risk-taking entertainers. Stunt performers get bruised and scratched and beaten many times a year. Sometimes they even break bones, but they are pretty much guaranteed to be walking away from a day's work in some form of pain - and we love them for it.
