Very interesting thread. I still have all of my old VHS tapes (I'm a pack rat by nature), most of which have not been played in at least 10 years. About 75% are dubbed over from rented tapes so the quality is already somewhat degraded, but this thread has me ready to start a project to copy all the "good stuff" to a dedicated external hard drive and toss the original VHS in the dumpster. It seems like a waste of good material but I have no idea what else I can do with it. Does anyone know if there's an X-Rated EBay-like site out there somewhere? | |

Speaking only for myself, I like this thread because I'm subscribed to it and it lets me know not only what new stuff is out there but also what PU policies are regarding sites that are not totally pay porn sites but do contain porn material. Your question is essentially, why a thread like this? My rebuttal question is, why not a thread like this? What's the harm? This forum is here to give us porndogs an opportunity to discuss virtually anything at all with each other. As far as I know, there is no other web forum out there like the PU forum. | |

My opinion is that the situation has not been fully disclosed because there's more, a lot more, that we don't really know yet. For example, is it possible that JoePa played by the rules and reported the matter to the police and the police, who are for all intents and purposes, part of the University, covered it up? I really suspect there's a whole lot of rot under the surface that has yet to be disclosed and that Paterno is simply the sacrificial lamb. Why else was the University President fired? | |

Thanks Jay. I called Chase about this feature and, lo and behold, they also have it. The sign-up option is buried in their security page but it's there. For those who have a Chase card and who use online banking, go to your account summary screen, find Customer Center then Account Alerts. There you will find the various email alert options, among them an email alert for on-line/phone charges. This is a terrific feature that all credit card issuers should promote. I have cards issued by Chase and B of A. Is either of them your card issuer? My fail safe method is to have a card that I use exclusively for porn and on which I set a very low credit limit ($80). Whenever I buy a membership to a site, I pay the amount charged electronically from my on line bank account. That way an attempted large charge is stopped because it's over limit. That has happened once or twice a year. But I would much prefer the notification process you describe. | |

I'm a moderator on a travel oriented website's message forum and can tell you two things. One is how so many people think it's an easy gig (no way) and when a post has to be deleted, the wrath of a member scorned can be far worse than that of a woman scorned. Khan's approach is superb. Or less than one grand. My first computer was a Commodore VIC 20 (I still have it) and it had no operating system or very much functionality. Worse in the late 80's I bought a 512kb machine for around $4k and thought I had the ultimate. The notion that I could download HD porn videos 20 years later never occurred to me. Epoch's telephone support is marginally helpful with my regular credit card transactions. "Marginal" means they aren't hiring rocket scientists to handle their calls and they give their attendants no training. Based on the experiences of PU's as expressed in this thread, I am sticking with my preferred method. I have one card that I use only to enroll in porn sites and I asked the issuer to set a very low ($80) credit limit so that unauthorized large charge transactions will get snagged. That approach has worked quite well since I started using it 5 years ago, with an average of 2 bogus charge transactions getting snagged. | |

I always check the comments but not to read the inane bullshit. VideoBox is very sloppy in their spelling of the names of the performers. Worse they frequently misidentify the performers altogether. That makes their search function lousy as well when you're trying to find a particular babe. Frequently the comments section will include correcting info that I find to be very helpful. | |

OK, I agree that graymane's list is pretty much comprehensive and match mine. My additions are minor: 1. I thought I was alone!!! I dig the real woman, not the glammed up kind. One of my faves is a gal who I first found on Brazzers, Victoria Vonn. Most of my dislikes have been well chronicled above, so I'll elaborate on some. 1. The cameraman zooming on a dick when the babe's big tits are in fast and furious action. 2. Whilst I understand Cap'n's interests (I was a photo guy for a very long time) I gravitated to video because I wanted to see the babes in more detail and without any airbrushing or photoshopping. There's a place in the market for each - photos and videos. For example Twistys integrates both photos and videos, but, in my experience, it can be frustrating when I would love to see a video of some outstanding babe but all that is on offer are photos. But the ironic part is that a babe with just photos on Twistys can sometimes be found elsewhere (through FreeOnes.com). My personal preference, however, is that a site be primarily one or the other, not both. | |
