I got one program back in about 2006 when I wanted to keep watching the movies I downloaded, after my membership expired. I don't know what programs elonlybuster have tried, but this one actually said it was a legal removal of DRM. I had to pay apx US$25 for the program, and nothing untoward happened to my accounts or computer.
This program worked by having you play the movie in WMP, input the username and password from the site, check it against the site and doing a screen capture of the movie as it played.
As I said, it promoted itself as being legal, but really, I don't know. I only know that I downloaded apx 150 movies I still am able to watch, even a year after my membership expired. |
