Generally I found sites by seeing samples/trailers on tgp's, sometimes word of mouth or some days by following my favourite stars. I'll see a scene I like or see an actress I like appearing and be interested in seeing it but that won't sway me completely just get me over to the site. From there I'll look at the tour or how much is shown about the site's scenes. If I can see lots of content with regular updates I'll more than likely join. Sites like videobox,brazzers,naughtyamerica etc are easy to join because I can see the content I'm getting easily. I often go back to those sites. Other sites unfortunatly seem amazing but without reading through loads of reviews I don't know what I'm getting and even then unless the review is very favourable I shy away. Trailers aren't always necessary even just a couple of the most recent or a compolation trailer and then a few photos about each scene and the date is what I'd want to see as a minimum. To sum up if a site is transparent to what I'm getting then I'm more like to join and later rejoin. | |

Each year I have a tradition of getting (as well as your typical presents) a oddball present for some friends, we're all pretty open, in the past they have brought me sex toys etc. Is like anything yeah they could get the subscription themselves, but I'm finding and giving them one they wouldn't normally perhaps get themselves. Been hit twice, first time my gf, no antivirus etc on her pc...real pain to fix but fixed it...brought norton... 6 months later my pc locked out...couldn't find a way of fixing it (great job norton) so brought a new harddrive (know I could of wiped it but one day ill try and get my files back) | |

My Tv is connected to my network and I can play video files to it if they are in the correct format... So far the only way I've found would be to convert the mp4 file to a file your TV understands...try a programme like Any Video Converter (I downloaded it free but it does have limits unless you upgrade) I'm sure there are other programmes too but I would try out the programmes before purchasing to ensure its a path you are happy with...Seems to take a couple mins depending on the size of the video being converted. | |

Definatly agree, as an amateur photographer (of the mainly inanimate kind - buildings for work) I'm often called upon by friends to photograph friends weddings, parties etc.(as I have a nice big DSLR) I usually throw everything in a zip file and being uncompressed RAW files shove the lot up on filesonic overnight and send them the link. Was easy for me, and easy for them to download. All Legal. But Filesonic stopped all that. Rapidshare, Filesonic etc is cloud computing. All these tech big wigs go on about cloud computing being the future but just as it starts to take off we take a few steps backwards. | |

Only watch with speakers when I'm with someone else, 90% of the time use head phones probably paranoia. As an added point I'd add I wear 'em with only one ear cup on (a la djs) years of people startling me whilst gaming led me to do this. | |

Guess this shows how hard it is for sites, you don't like interviews, I on the other hand do like them, if they're done right. Though agree not every scene needs them theres a time and place. I like interviews in gonzo type porn where theres no scenerio etc, interesting and helps get an idea of how dirty the girl is etc, shows a little of her personality, makes her more real. | |

Solo sites with stars spending more time and effort on them. Sex scenes with sexy clothing (fishnets, corsets etc) left on for longer during sex. Cheaper prices  More 'bonus' content ie erotic audio, fan pics, interviews, behind the scenes just things that aren't the main aim of the site that could be a nice bonus. All sites to have better interaction with fans ie: More user input taken, wouldn't it be great if for competition prizes, loyalty bonuses or whatever, the scene creators took more user input into the scenes like, names, types of clothing, positions, toys, scenarios etc. | |

I was looking to add another 2 TB hard drive to my set up ( i brought one early august this year for £55) when searching through several sites found the cheapest price for a 1 TB was about £80 Very confused I googled. Apparently the thailand floods have hit Western digital and some other manufacturers badly affectly global hard drive supply. Just a heads up. I don't think adult stores will close think they will just adapt and change (and those that don't will close). The real XXX stores movies are very expensive 40+ while the same movies can be order from sites like blissbox for half the price. Also there's always the atmosphere seedy. Look at shops like ann summers, Agent provocateur etc, sexy, fashionable (and in the case of ann summers reasonabley priced), and very female friendly. The only thing missing is the truely adult dvd's. I like the new thing in ann summers changing rooms that the door has a 'peep' hole so the girl changing can let (if she wants) her partner look in without showing everyone. Also condom machines disappearing from mens rooms? not that i've noticed, if anything they're adding new things like disposable toothbrushes and such like beside the condom machines. | |

One of the biggest cable providers in the UK offer Amazingly fast download speeds but if you download more than a few GB then they cut your speed by a huge amount. It's really a pain and something I don't understand that as someone else pointed out, with more and more hi def videos (non-porn), online gaming (with steam you download full games purchased at like 10 GB a game), photosharing, youtube, music downloading from itunes, larger websites etc. Peoples downloading will naturally become more and more. I think these companies are just out too make more and more money | |

Be careful I've seen some sites be tricky and put a one month 'notice' period to cancel so in effect you join and cancel straight away and you'll still be billed for two months (read the fine print) | |

gone a little ot for a sec lol, anyway, the obsessed site I've joined one very similar to before and it was very bare and the stuff inside was poor (probably stolen from some free site). I think they are a gimmick, the only real sites that work imho with customer content are sites that offer something back for it or are built round some kind of community (ie redclouds). Otherwise you'll find more amateur stuff on a free site. I do recall when I got a cellphone a few years back they had a mobile site where people could post their vids/pics and get paid i think it was like a few cents per view. I think viewers brought credit or something, that website had a lot of good unique content(though low quality) especially as people recorded stuff on there cell and posted it straight away As for starting my own site, no. I personally think the best/easiest way for a guy to start his own site would be to hire some girls and film some stuff with a unique twist, then set a fairly lowprice point while you build up, if the previews are good it'll hook people in (they do to me lol). just my thoughts | |

Have a look on amazon, look through the reviews of the most popular external hard drives and you'll see a few people having dud drives. Remember even DVD's can go dud (they have a life expectancy and after a while will become unreadable, cheaper ones faster than others...I had this happen, backed up a load of things then went to access the data a couple years later and it's unreadable even though it had never been touched since) | |

very true which is why I like to be able to see exactly what movies and pics I'm going to see (ie a preview of each update/model) rather than a notice saying over 10,000 pictures inside. This is why I don't like amberathome so much now they've redesigned since how am i to know whether they are actually updating or not. | |

I've found some of the best (and also most passionate and slower) scenes I've ever seen were ones in which there were chemitry between the stars. What sites have you found that are really well designed, perhaps it's with loads of extras, or really slick what sites have you found. Well designed tours will often get me to join a site very quickly. Amberathome used to be one of my favourite solo sites (for the tour/blog) but they've redesigned it so it's difficult to know what updates there have been. It could be that the amount they pay for the bonus sites may be a lot less than you think, such that the bonus sites make the site look bigger but it would not make sense to give a discount to not include them. Ie webmaster pays $1000/month for bonus sites making site look bigger, if they reduce the price by just a buck after a thousand people they would start to lose money. Perhaps one just needs to see it as an added perk. I must admit there have been one or two sites I've joined that I spent less than a couple of hours surfing and I spent the rest of my time on the bonus sites since the orginal site was soo bare. | |

Was wondering if you guys could shed some light on this, now a lot of sites have the option of joining for say £30 but if you can choose to join for £27 a month if it automatically rebills. Now what I get a little confused is that some sites seem to let you cancel straight away and not pay a rebill. But with some sites it means you're stuck with a minimum of two months. Is all sites that offer two prices makes you pay for two months? Is it just sites that automatically recharge but don't have two prices that you can cancel straight away? Does it vary from site to site? | |

Personally I think I find the idea of a realdoll to be more appealling than a handsfree aid. I mean what happens if you don't find the same bits arousing as the film encoders? you can't go at your own pace which I think is important. Hey had a little look and I hope you don't mind me saying but I'm a little underwhelmed by the tours, the paintball one has four ladies a couple of pics of each and the same tag, is that the whole of that site? is there videos with those pictures? how many pictures are there of each girls? Same applies to altdoll (though at least theres more girls shown and a large picture of each (and seperate tags) British slags is better in the fact that it says there are videos but still doesn't say how many videos/minutes/scenes there are for each girl and pictures. Scares the crap out of me too. Good post. The thing that bugs me is people who say "What should you worry about if you've done nothing wrong (illegal)" and think you should support all this. As you've mentioned information is in the majority of cases misused. Too often legislation is brought in to stop a loophole or to combat a new threat, yet the new powers are far too often misused for menial things that the powers were not introduced for. Also privacy, why is it important if you have nothing to hide? Well whats so wrong about law abiding citizens hiding things? I may not want my parents to see I have brought lube and condoms, It's perfectly legal but I feel it should be private. I may want to dabble in bisexuality and not want everyone to know, people may discriminate against me, what about If I go to a legal protest against the war as a student? I don't want that to prevent me getting a job years later. Plain facts without a back story are misleading, for example I was charged with assault sounds bad, but I pushed two guys who were jumping on an old guy on the ground. Charges were dropped but there is still a record somewhere and I was fingerprinted. I don't want people saying oh he's a yob he was arrested for assault when it wasn't really the case. | |
