I didn't find the girls fat - plenty of slim girls there, but also lots who are just regular girls and IIRC only a few I would class as chubby; but there are fun attractive girls across that spectrum.
But for someone used to/preferring the nude photo sites, especially the Russian/European based ones, I can see how the healthy, regular girls may seem a bit curvy?

Wasn't expecting to see a review from rearadmiral on this - but I too am easily swayed by a good offer and I'm glad you liked the site!
Perhaps as a hardcore fan it's more a breath of fresh air to see softcore; whereas I tend to soft/midcore material so found this lacking in tease/playfulness a bit; it's not even the nudity levels since I've found non-nude material that I find more exciting. Agree with Ergo Proxy in that their better stuff seems to be from a while ago; many of the sets I downloaded were a good few years old.
I'm glad you expanded on the technical aspects of the site; I didn't stress enough that it just can't be faulted in size or features.
And definitely concur about the animals :| I am fond of animals, but not in that way; I prefer my smut without any at all!

I'd rather there weren't limits, but I'll accept them if I like the site enough (and I'm unlikely to reach them anyway).
It depends on the content as to what the limits should be; if it's enough to comfortably get what I want from a site within the month, I don't mind.
Eg when a member of Girls Out West, the newer movies are huge, some I think 6GB or more; a 20GB limit there could stop me downloading a few in one go which I might want to.
OTOH, for a photo site, sets may be 100-200Mb; a 20GB limit would let me download 100 sets in a day - which I am unlikely to do. There I'd accept a 10GB limit.

As others have said, it's more likely the bad experiences which will put you off, rather than the other way around.
If I need to ask something before joining a site, then the reply, if any, from the webmaster will certainly affect that, as it will affect rejoining if I had an issue while a member.
The one site I visit consistently, though, is Petites Parisiennes - very largely because the webmaster is helpful and affable; answers all queries and responds to - and often acts upon - all suggestions via the forum.
Having said that, If I didn't get a reply from a webmaster, but I knew the site actually worked and I liked the content, I would probably rejoin. I'm pragmatic if nothing else...

Concur with Cap'n - a great and thorough review, Brad. A shame the site is lacking; one thing that appeals to me there is the mix of models; eg I like Asian and Latina models, but wouldn't necessarily join a purely Asian/Latina site; but sadly few sites have a good spectrum of ethnicities. I'm tempted by melina.com which seems good in that area, although it's just a small site.

Hi Annie - firstly, thanks for the great work at GOW, I really enjoyed it, loved the models and wrote a review a while back saying as much.
Regarding the review above; BradlyH is right in that it's fairly subjective; although I have written my fair share of very subjective reviews too so I can't really fault the reviewer for that. Fantasy is perfect models for some; and more real, attainable girls for others.
I do feel ps2008 should have been more aware of the amateur nature of the models before joining; it's what GOW is about. However, in his defence, one of my cons in my review was your relatively limited tour; I think you'd be well served by showing eg the update schedule, model index, etc to browsing guests?

I've chanced upon this site before and am tempted... I like smut with a bit of an angle to it, so both this and Cosplay Erotica are on my list.
And although I can't find a model list there, I think Bare Maidens features Mosh, who is absolutely my favourite model. Definitely one to consider!

Tangub, thanks for the fine review! This is another site that's been on my list, but like you I was under the impression that it was rather racier than Met Art et al. I particularly like things like the fetish wear and mild bondage you mentioned - as such it's a disappointment to learn it's very much in the minority, as is the more explicit material the home page teases us with.
To learn that it's more similar to MA is very helpful; I have a few others that can be promoted up the list. Perhaps if there was more than just one set of Valentina Vaughn...

I was going to say no, since it doesn't work for me at all. Perhaps because we (at least I) like to imagine the models as somehow attainable; suspension of disbelief is key, but seeing her pregnant stretches the point a bit much :|
But if it were my own partner, then I'm sure I'd be quite happy to, er, dive in.

Khan, thanks for the helpful reply! Of course I understand that the goal here is to promote and inform about actual sites, and so site-specific activity is encouraged.
As such, I didn't particularly expect forum participation to count - so I guess it's just a bonus that poll replies - such as this one ;) - do!

Still my favourite site too. It's changed a bit this year; we've lost some of the variety in locations, no outdoor shoots etc; but we've made up for it with some great new models, great lingerie and a helpful webmaster providing almost made-to-order sets.
I'm sure I'll be resubscribing (and not at all defiantly... :| ) - $15 is a steal for a daily updated site, but the one year seems to have stayed the same - now equivalent to 10 months, so arguable as to whether it's a good buy?

Only when I have something to contribute to a particular subject (or at least I think I have something!).
Just as an aside, I wonder why forum participation doesn't qualify for a raffle ticket. I can see how site-specific contribution does, such as reviews and comments - but if eg adding trust ratings and poll replies do, shouldn't forum posts also?

I'm not really sure what kind of site we are talking about. I like some non-nude material - especially fetishwear, pinups and the like, a well-conceived lingerie or latex set can be much sexier than a poorly conceived nude one. But I'm not sure that qualifies as Amateur - maybe I'm missing something...

Thanks readadmiral & Denner for your replies. My opinion is of course very subjective - some folk may find the stuff here exciting and sexy - but my tastes are generally pretty tame and this just doesn't work for me at all.
I would, though, again recommend my previously reviewed site Juliland - possibly art, but creative, exciting stuff.

Thanks for the reply, Cap'n. I agree about the thumbnails; it's not at all easy to find anything that leaps out from the sea of them while browsing.
After discussing the site with a friend, one other point occurred to me about the 'Met Art' look - that, by somehow desexualising the models, it somehow objectifies them even more; which bothers me slightly, since like I hope most folk here do, I have a huge respect for all the girls we ogle over. Would you agree, or am I just overanalysing? :|
