I post several times a week, and enjoy the forum. Its a neutral place for members to talk about and often do about anything. Sometimes members talk about cool a new idea, new stars, or post just due to a random brain misfire !

I am but I wish we had a lot more participation than what we currently have. We have lost many people over the years but it's so rare to get replacements. Of course there are some that have joined our little family and are regular posters and I thsnk you for that.

I agree with most of the above. I really appreciate the opportunity to use the forum and try to read the threads as often as I can and post there when I have something to contribute. I'm constantly impressed by the civility and friendliness in the forum.
Like pat, I'm also a bit dismayed that the number of regulars there seems to have dwindled a bit. I have nothing against the gang that I usually communicate with there, but it would be great to have some new perspecives.

Somewhere between regular and rarely, it depends how busy I am. Even if I don't post much, I am nearly always looking in to see what topics are being discussed.
It's always a shame to see old regulars stop posting, like Toadsith, Cybertoad, and Raging Buddhist, although Cybertoad is now back, hopefully permanently.
On the other hand,I enjoy seeing the opinions of new members who can write and express themselves well, and it's heartening to see a number of these continuing to appear.

Participate? yes-indeedy.
Unfortunately, because I don't subscribe to many pay-sites from which I can post reviews here and subsequently gain trusts and additional points, I do and have been consentrating my efforts mostly on the forum. Its not a monetary or other reason for that, it's because I'm getting bits and pieces of most pay sites from a single site I've belonged to for years. I'd love to post reviews if only I had sites to do it on.

Well I do regularly read the forum posts that interest me but seldom participate. I don't really have a lot of opinions to give on most porn related topics as i just enjoy my softcore photography sites so any discussions like who prodeces the best anal scenes or deep throat blow jobs or similar topics just goes straight over my head.

Only when I have something to contribute to a particular subject (or at least I think I have something!).
Just as an aside, I wonder why forum participation doesn't qualify for a raffle ticket. I can see how site-specific contribution does, such as reviews and comments - but if eg adding trust ratings and poll replies do, shouldn't forum posts also?

otoh, to understand that you really need to look at the evolution of the site.
In the early days, trust ratings especially and polls to a lesser extent were seen as important for users. Later on, answering polls were dropped as one of the ways to earn raffle tickets (with the exception of the one badge earned after answering 50).
The forum was added quite a while after the site launched. It was at users' request and was a way for users to get to know one another and to discuss subjects related to their porn buying hobby.
But remember, the main function of the site is, and has always been, the reviews (and comments) about the pay sites we list. When you understand that PU was an outgrowth of TBP then that's easier to keep in mind.
So, while we won't rule out *ever* giving rewards for forum participation, we have no immediate plans to do so. The general feeling (when the subject comes up) is that offering raffle tickets just for posting would add more posts without really adding to the quality of the discussions in the forum.
Hope that helps you better understand the reasoning behind our decision.

Khan, thanks for the helpful reply! Of course I understand that the goal here is to promote and inform about actual sites, and so site-specific activity is encouraged.
As such, I didn't particularly expect forum participation to count - so I guess it's just a bonus that poll replies - such as this one ;) - do!
