Seems that her site has now opened for business now, but it says each account will be individually verified:
"All accounts will be VERIFIED. So please provide a valid number and address when you register. If I can not get in touch with the account holder, the account will be closed down immediately. The good part is you get a call from me directly! How cool is that? So you know who I am, it’s only fair I know you. This helps protect legitimate accounts like yours, protect my content, and also is kind of fun!

Yup, I've never ever seen content protection like it. The problem I have is that the photo doesn't even fit on screen (you have to scroll up and down as they're pretty high res) so normally you would download the image and then can fit to screen, but when you right click and save image, you just get a 1cm square section of the entire image saved!
I can understand why they don't allow you to rip entire content, but not even being able to save individual pictures is a step too far. I have never been someone who rips entire websites (or even galleries), I normally just save my favourite pics from my favourite galleries.
It's a real shame as I think their over-sensitivity to pirates has killed the site. They blame the pirates, but while websites like Chica's Place allow you to download videos, zips of galleries etc seem to be doing very well, you have to ask maybe they're alienating members?

- Unable to save pictures as they're sliced up into mosaics - essentially you cannot save ANY pictures or ANY videos
- No 'new' content being added
- Anna has gone to ground - no updates or interaction from her now |
| Bottom Line: |
This website has had a high fall from grace. It was once one of the best at looking after members, constantly updating - it was a masterclass in amateur websites.
Sadly you are no longer able to save ANY content (not even photos) and Anna and the webmaster no longer seem to care about their members. A real shame. |

Wow, one set an hour? So you're expected to spend a full day on the whole website to download ten photo sets? That has got to be one of the worst, least-practical and unworkable download restrictions I have ever heard of.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've not seen the site, and the preview gives no indication of quality from what I can see, so I appreciate the thoughts because otherwise I could have made the same mistake as you.

It's not MUCH worse, but for me yes, it is worse. If it's a trial, call it a trial - but I think to pass it off as some 'age verification' fee is pretty dishonest. I agree with your sentiment about trials, though.

Clicking through from the main homepage, I can see thumbnails of the videos, but like you, when I click on them I get a 'you must verify your age for $1' message.
Cynically, I guess that once you have to paid $1 to verify your age, it will probably automatically upgrade you to full membership a day later or something 'for your convenience' - to me it looks like a limited trial by stealth, and I would be surprised if it didn't try and trick you into full membership.
$1 to verify my age is hassle and not something I'd ever do. And if the website is trying to trick people into a recurring membership, then it's not a site I'd ever give my money to.

Oh yes, I completely understand that. Make sure you nominate it for a re-review and/or submit a correction. The problem is obviously that there's many hundred sites and sadly adult sites do have a habit of slowing down or stopping updates altogether.
I've only reviewed about 10 sites here, but it seems to be a never-ending job to keep them up-to-date, so can only imagine how difficult it is with all the sites on TBP.
Make sure you review the site here giving the site the score you think, as people do check Porn Users as well as TBP.

Thanks for such a great review, and for addressing the elephant in the room (ie, the upsells). Honestly, as amazing as the site is, and even bearing in mind your recommendations, it's still not worth the risk for me. All it would take for me to think again would be for a 'you will be billed extra for this - are you sure' popup to appear.

I agree - I'm never going to join Bangbrothers because of their shady practices, and I don't see why tricking those who do is a good business plan because they're hardly encouraging loyalty.

You're not the first person here to have this problem. I agree that PU shouldn't have anything to do with this site as they've ripped off several members here and would continue to do so if it weren't for warnings like yours. Definitely adding the site to my blacklist.

Thank you for the review. The stealth upsells that people have been mentioning in the comments have completely put me off the site, despite the positives you list. Also my jaw dropped reading about the scrolling watermarks in the videos - they must be losing the plot if they think these things are what paying members want to see.

I've got no problem with upsells so long as the website is up-front and honest about it, and doesn't try and trick members. I don't have as much of an issue with pre-checked cross sells as other members here, but this is beyond the pale in my opinion, and I'd never give a website that's basically disguising the cross sells the time of day.
The fact it doesn't even say "you're about to do this, and it will add $X onto your membership" is absolutely incredulous.
I appreciate times are tough for the porn industry, but alienating the people joining the sites is not the way to go about business. While times are tough for the industry, they're also tough for consumers and trying to pick-pocket members is nothing short of shady and I'd never entertain websites who use such underhanded techniques.

Wow, all of these comments about their upsells by stealth are incredible. Never heard of such a cynical way of tricking people out of their money.
I really hope someone writes an up-to-date review for Bang Bros, as with this comment, the comment by messmer and also by whowho, 85/100 seems grossly generous now!

Hard to tell whether it was just the preview that was out of date, whether it was just representative of the member's content, or if there really haven't been many videos in the last year.
