Pros: |
if you like watching anal it may be for you. |
Cons: |
Crap download limit system that stops you from downloading lots on your days off. |
Bottom Line: |
Adulttime continue to state unlimited downloads (and you pay extra for it) even after they explain you can't download for the next 24 hours because you downloaded 300gb in the last 24 hours.
The download limit is 299gb in any rolling 24 hour period. You can stream as much as you like (even after hitting the download limit), but if you capture the stream in a program like IDM it records it as a download and your 24 hour penalty starts again. So you have to watch how much you download and when because there is no set rollover time of the 24hours. If you join and start downloading at 00:01 hours and then download 299g by 12:00 hours, You don't reach the limit, but can't download anymore until 00:01 the next day and even then if you download quicker that the day earlier you will reach the limit because what you down in the last 24 hours is always counted, you never reset to zero unless you don't download for 24 hours.
OK, so what you say. Well if you go over the limit you get hit with a penalty of no downloading for the next 24 hours from the time you exceeded the 300gb limit (not 24 hours from the first 1gb you downloaded in that 300gb, In this way you get to download even less.
The calc works like this. If you keep track of your downloads and keep to downloading no more than 299gb in any 24 hours from the time you join you can download 8970gb in 30 days, but you need to work within a buffer and say download 270gb each period which is 270x29 and 300 on the last day if you are cancelling and that is 8130gb
BUT if you download 300gb each time you can you get stuck with a 24 hour no download penalty each time you hit the limit and theoretically you could do that at best (limited by their transfer rate) in about 8 hours, but lets just say 12 hours and you get cut off for 24 hours and you the do it again and again your total downloads possible in a 30 day period would be down to 6000gb. AND they know this
Does it matter, probably if you want to download it all in 1080p The 21 sites list 18000+ vids (not sure if there are duplicates in different sections.) But 18000 at an average of 1.3gb each in 1080p so that is 23400gb so 3 months membership at best. If you want 4k vids then that is a lot longer. Of course this is a lot of work and maybe life is too short :-)
If you just stream, then that is unlimited, because each vid takes 20 min to play whereas 2 to 4 min to download so you can only really stream about 100gb max in 24 hours if you don't sleep etc. If you download a bit and stream a bit then you may be fine.
So unless you are trying to rip the site the limit is probably of little issue, but you need to know it is there. |

What can I say, they say unlimited but do not provide unlimited. OK you think 300gb is huge, but that is irrelevant. They should specify the limit up front and not lie to customers.
The other point here is I was letting prospective members know the real story, if anyone finds 300gb a day and the penalty for exceeding it and no meter to show what you have downloaded acceptable, as you do, that is their decision to accept it. I am just providing the information so they can make the correct considered decision.
Your position makes me think you work for Adult time
