The bitrate is the highest I have found, at 2048kbps, the quality is excellent. They are in the mid-range price, as far as VOD goes, but the quality of the movies makes them better than other PPV sites. Some movies have a download and burn to DVD option (XXX 2 Burn), at $24.95 each. For a single DVD it works out the same as buying one and having it delivered, but you don't get the case and cover. For me, I may try this option for select DVDs that I want right away, but the price would hold me back from using it instead of ordering DVDs online for delivery. Overall the site(s) is very easy to use and download speeds are acceptable. I joined this site because it said No Watermarks in the Site Facts. I have yet to find a video at DVD Box that does not have a watermark, they ALL have them. I burn DVD Site videos to DVDs to play on the TV, and the watermarks show up HUGE on a TV screen. They have some fairly new releases for download, and for under $5 I can watch the movie for a week to see if I want to buy the full DVD later. Their highest bitrate says 1mb but generally I find that the 1Mb is higher, at around 1.40Mb to 1.55Mb, and it's pretty good quality, although a 2Mb bitrate would put them over the top in their category (VOD). I use DVD sites that have no DRM as well, but Hot Movies has much more up-to-date movies, whereas other (no DRM) DVD sites mostly have DVDs that are very old and can be found in bargain bins anywhere. I joined SoloTeenGirls at the beginning of 2008, for the 3 month plan, and I was pleased. The content was true to the site title, and there were even a few Boy/Girl and Girl/Girl videos as well. As of about April 2008 I have about 130+ videos, and at the writing of this TBP stats says over 200 videos, so it looks like it growing nicely. I hope it keeps growing. Some of the girls are very bashful, in an adorable way, and it is obvious that they were new to nude modeling. On the other hand, some of the girls seemed to know a lot of seducing and teasing ways, and they demonstrate it in their videos. All good. Whether they were dauntless or shy, they all did a good job. One thing I want to stress, because it has a lot to do with why I liked the site, is that very, very few of the videos had the camera guy talking throughout. Sometime you may hear an instruction or question, or a very short dialog, but for the most part it seems like the girls are on their own and doing their thing even if/when you do hear someone talking to one of them. The speed is consistently 580Kbps for me, day or night. They used to encode the high-quality version of the DVDs at 720x480, which made the video look somewhat stretched, but now they have corrected it to 640x480 on new releases. FPS is 23.97, which is strange but workable. 5 new DVDs every day is better than anything else out there. Some good, some not so good, but there is lots of content. You can edit the scene(s) to download right online. You can get the whole scene with one click, or any portion of a scene using their drag-and-drop scene editing interface. Pick the start and stop points from the provided thumbnails, and download your edited clip. This is great for downloading a "Trailer" first, to see if you like it and want to spend the time downloading the whole scene, or whole DVD. My only complaint would be the Lesbian and Solo (Masturbation) categories. Out of 2300 DVDs there is only about 90 in Lesbian and about 50 in Masturbation categories. But if you like lots of Gonzo, One-on-One, Straight, Hardcore, Anal, and Features, VideoBox is a good choice and a great deal for the money.
