Brazzer's and Reality Kings ARE separate, the comments can be confusing in hindsight. The review was on Brazzer's. The problem was with their associate site (the attempt at the $565.00 charge.
The Epoch comment was in RESPONSE to another member's reply about the practices that are making a minefield of charging you for things you had NEVER intended or used. The "Already clicked" Cross sells were bad enough, but this auto-charge is making things worse - BTW, did you ever notice if you aren't careful, the boxes can "re-check" themselves if you refresh the page. I am almost to the point if I see a cross-sell box I close the page and do not buy their product, my tolerance (as well as others) is getting more and more frayed.
I DID go to EPOCH, (to answer your reply) I did the LIVE chat. I enclosed in my reply statement to that other member, a copy of the E-Mail Epoch SENT me where they AGREED to refund the charge. THEY NEVER did AND refused to acknowledge any future communication. I had asked them at the time for a confirmation email. (Which I kept, and pasted a copy of here.)
Epoch argued that I should have read the terms on the sign-up page - THERE WAS NO sign-up page. No "Terms" NO "amount" to be charged, just a teaser ad/email for a low price, click for more info, and you get charged from the cc on file. (And remember in both instances I called within minutes of the charge, not days or hours later AND never went to the site or the site I had originally signed up for again.)
I think the most frustrating thing is Epoch kept up the comment of you "Read the Terms" ignoring the fact that there was NO agreement page. (And NEVER checking it out which made me suspicious that this was becoming a common practice now) And make no mistake, up until that time I had UTMOST confidence in Epoch. The point connecting the 2 places are these trick charges (is that a fair term?) They are become more commonplace as you read the various forums. The trust "Gained" by Adult sites and payment companies over the years are being eroded more and more in a name of a "fast buck". In the end You have to consider, Epoch was involved and did NOTHING but keep the money, regardless of their statement. This I feel makes them complicit (IMO). I used to be in the Adult business and this upsets me to no end! How much business/money does the Adult Industry lose doing these tricks, I bet it is considerable. You can build the greatest site in the world and still be considered "cheap' by pulling stunts like this. People are voting with their wallets and not signing up anymore. I am getting to the point of considering one of those rechargeable Credit Cards for safety or a $50.00 only account.
I'm sorry if these series of replies are confusing, you have to read all the comments and replies in the order they were made here to keep it in some sort of context. But Yes, I tried it your way, didn't work. Thank you for replying! 8)

As I said I wanted to give Brazzers the benefit of the doubt. It would be incredulous (to me) for a business/site to work so hard for customer interaction on one hand and pull such business destroying tactics on the other.
One side (Brazzer's)seems determined to create a base of loyal RE-Occurring (billing) members.
The other site/sales site/business(possibly not-related) site seems set up to be devious, miss-represent and take advantage of that same trust.
So I created my perception, Brazzer's - the site itself - excellent. The other (if it is separate) is bad, bordering on illegal (IMO)
Then I went into a lot of details for you (and others) to make a determination for yourselves. If they are the same entity, then to answer your question, Yes, the score should be 50 (the lowest possible)

I wanted to somehow say, Brazzer's Good, the chat, or cam site bad.
The thing is that it is hard to do. I was at another site, it was Reality Kings I think, got an e-mail. get it for ONLY 7.95 charged monthly! WOW!! Charged monthly? Not a 6 month or 1 year deal?
Had to check it out. Clicked on the ad, got a click to take advantage of the deal and get more info...
Clicked for for more Info...
Thank you!!! You will be billed 29.95!!!! That's all, no info, not signup page NADA.
Called immediately, yelled and screamed. They told me that I should have read the info on the sign up page. THERE WAS NO SIGN UP PAGE!!
Finally to shut me up, they said they'd refund the money, I requested an email confirming this... Here it is:

My experience was different. I was offered the 9.95 discount, I accepted. I screen captured the entire offer/acceptance/confirmation series of screens.
Came the re-charge day, my card rejected it. "Word to the wise" keep limited funds in a card you use for these sites.
I had $15.00 in the account for a $9.95 charge, which seemed to be a LOT more than $9.95. OOOps! You must have forgot all about your offer and my acceptance.... That's OK, I didn't get hit by your "understandable" mistake.
Gee, I wonder if any other porn site are available...?

I think it might also be worth to let the billing company know you disapprove. It may not help, but you can never tell. Some of the billing companies do have a good rep.
I am a former member of NA, but this "Auto Subscribe Minefield" they have has held me off.
Bang Bros I quit after I got nailed just once.
Others like Videobox is so straight forward and honest that my subscription is in it's I don't know how many years of running. Pretty close to as long as they have been around I would guess.....
