This site is in the same company as Ladyboy Gold. Do they do the same thing and only let you download zipped photo sets after being a member for more than a month? Plus, can you give me any info about the size of the pictures and the videos? Any info would be great. Thanks.

I'm a bit confused as far as the mainstream glam remark? Maybe just the elegant ladies category but I found more than half the outfits to be regular attire worn to the mall or them doing regular household chores. I think there is a superior mix of glam with different outfits. Plus, there is a lot of working woman attire (I.E.: secretary) which I would never qualify as glamour at all.
I do agree with the fact that not all models are beauties. I think this is due to the site trying to update so much quickly that they cannot pick and choose quality models for updates. But, with talks about this with messmer and others, one person's gem of a woman can be another person's hag.
I'm not trying to ridicule or be negative, but I dislike the fact that this review had no comment about the videos. It's not fair for the site which has both quality photography and videography to only be judged on your opinion of the quality of photography. But, this is just my opinion.
To move on, while personally I think the score is a bit low, I just can't figure out why the score is so low. 77 is a bit average for this site in my opinion. All I can see for the reason that the site is scored a bit lower than I think is because you think there is too much glamour photos, it features hardcore plus solo, and not all the models are hot? Interesting.

I noticed you said that it is probably not the best in the ladyboy niche but I will go out on a limb and say it is. This site and it's clone site (shemale.asia) is the best place for ladyboy content in terms of quantity and quality of models with the best video quality as well. While the photography resolution size could be a bit higher, the actual photography is extremely crisp and well lighted. The people creating this content make these ladyboys look like true glamour models (you have to remember, most of these ladyboys on these sites are off the street and work in bars).
While you do mention that there is not a lot of hardcore, this site within the company is a site specializing in solo ladyboy content. There is a site within the company called Extreme Ladyboys which focuses on hardcore. I hope you did not give away too many points for this.
Thanks for the review and hope to see more TS sites reviewed by you later, it's always nice to have another member join with similar tastes.

I don't think it's entirely true at all. But I do have an interesting thing to think about. I remember hearing awhile ago that caucasian women who have sex with black men in porn has their 'value' go down considerably. I don't know if this is true. However, I wonder if something like this can happen for an ebony model who has sex with white men in porn. I wonder if their pay would go down once they go back to 'all ebony' porn? Would be interesting to know in my opinion.
But, that's a bit off topic. When it comes to porn I think ebony women are under represented in terms of true stardom. There are plenty of extremely hot ebony models but I think their chances to make it to the top are limited. That's kind of what I meant in terms of under par. However, I can see how it may have been a poor choice of words.
I dunno what it means to be in top anymore (maybe a contract star for vivid, wicked?) but when I go around and ask my buds who their favorite ebony porn star is, I usually get blank stares. I just want to give a follow up to anyone that may be interested in hearing the results.
It appears the customer service set-up was messed up on Grooby's end with failing messages back to yahoo accounts. However, once they realized this, they immediately created an email service that works with yahoo and promptly gave me my access. Plus, due to what I would call a minor set back due to timing, they even gave me 2 weeks longer access because of the problem. Therefore, I highly trust the company when it comes to customer satisfaction and the tickets are definitely worth it in my opinion.

I have emailed customer service twice thus far with no response as of yet. I purchased the bronze plan for 5 tickets and I am trying to use one ticket to gain access to the shemale yum site. It has been about 4 days since my initial email. So far, I don't find it excellent nor regular communication thus far, I would expect maybe a 24 hour wait or a 48 hour wait at max. 72 hours plus appears to be quite slow in my opinion.
Anyways, you appear to want to help so what steps should I take next? I have emailed customerservice@grooby.com twice and followed the necessary steps to get a ticket activated but still no response. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, buying a long term plan is bad for any site in terms of not liking the site, isn't it? These tickets just provide a means to join each site or one site for a lot cheaper because Grooby hardly ever strays away from $35 a month for one of their sites (unless new, then they give a discount for about 1-2 months). As far as updating goes, I believe this company is one, if not the longest running company ever for shemale content and I really don't see them to stop updating any time soon. But, you never know.

Yeah, I really wish they made something like a cubic zirconia plan which was cheaper than the other plans, it really took a lot of indecision to come up wit the go ahead to actual fork over $125. But, I really did want to check out shemale yum and re-join shemale japan so I figured that at the least, I can join these two sites again down the road with the tickets to get updates after a few months.

Slow download rates for me, if you can't even get the content then I think all the other technical aspects become borderline moot or just add to the site being even more garbage. I almost put 'other' and added the fact when filenames are oddly named such as "ASJ-4003-500.avi", so you have to rename every damn file so you know what you downloaded. However, to even get to this point, you have to be able to download the file first so that's why I put slow download speeds.

This was a poll to go hand in hand with the messmer post that went to 100+ replies a few months ago. Guess it finally made it's way here after awhile. One of the main arguments in that discussion was that maybe younger folk would be more in to the big tittied fake breast look than older folk. I made this to see if maybe that would be true. So far, it appears most are loving all natural and maybe that argument could be wrong, at least so far.
Me, I am younger and am not turned off by fake tits. However, I am strange when it comes to fake breasts. On porn stars, I really don't care. However, I only know a few women personally who have gotten fake breasts (and out of the few, most was due to the fact that they just wanted huge fake tits to impress) and I found them revolting. I suppose this was basically to flaunt their bodies as the sole purpose and it pissed me off. But, I do understand that some and most women do it for esteem issues and themselves etc etc. So, maybe in my little fantasy world of porn, I like them but in real life I believe I am not in to them as much. All-in-all though, I think I like just about everything porn can offer so I'm not surprised big tittied porn stars do not turn me off, but neither do small tittied natural stars as well.
As far as surgeries are going, from what I can see on models is that they get to the breasts from the arm pit so that's where the scar is now and you don't get any scars in the breasts area visually. However, I still see women getting tit jobs with scars there, so I'm guessing the procedure to go through the arm pits must be far more expensive or maybe carry more health risks? I don't see why any women would not go through the arm pits these days....

As pointed out above, POV can display great HJ, BJ, and Cowgirl scenes. However, the static camera pisses me off when compared to a revolving (not too much though) camera that a scene without POV provides. I believe the POV scene was actually enthralling to me at first because it did provide that fantasy like atmosphere that it's happening to myself. However, too many POV scenes nowadays has the male model grunt, even talk, move his hands in to the scenes, and so on which kills this fantasy. Plus, after seeing so many of these POV scenes, I feel it is more of a gimmick than actually a well shot scene. Yes, seeing a model's ass bounce up in down is great in POV but once the position switches it stinks IMHO.

Ah, I totally overlooked the video stats on TBP and you are completely right. It would be a probably a one time stay so the updates are not a huge issue for me. You said going back, so you have been a member, how was the billing processor when you were a member before? I am extremely nervous about this myself with a certain past experience straying away from the usual suspects. I trust your judgement and with your experience with the photo quality combined with the average videos, thumbs up for one a month stay if the billing processor is non-problematic?

Totally agree with the acting at all quote. That's why I put acting ruins a scene solely based on the fact that usually when I tell a model is totally faking an orgasm or just downright bad at acting, the scene is ruined. I'm actually surprised so far that it appears that I'm the only one who put this. However, jd makes a great point as well that porn is kind of like a cartoon, therefore fantasy. So, if a model is acting well or 'the part' as you put it, then the scene will be better.
But, I think this comes down to what people want as 'acting' in their porn. I suppose it can be defined as just the downright demeanor of a model because the scene is fantasy to begin with, so therefore everything captured within the scene is acting to begin with. Or, it could even just be the part that the model is playing, such as innocence or aggressiveness. But, I suppose it could even be how sexually real the scene is compared to acting in terms of the model actually enjoying the actual sexual act within the scene. There probably are more definitions or examples, but I'd say all the above are valid.
However, in terms of this poll and how I personally potray 'acting' (probably mainly because I watch mostly solo scenes) is how sexually turned on the model is within the video in terms of realness. So, fake orgasms and so on, really ruin a scene for me.

I put 'Other' solely based on the fact that my favorite genre is mostly films that are foreign. So, I'll just assume that maybe 'Foreign' could be placed as other. Oh and by the way, foreign as in meaning not from the USA. I am extremely in to Asian films, mostly being from Japan and Korea but I also like some Hong Kong stuff. The genre within from these countries varies, but my favs are horror, sci fi, and action.

However, in the model index, I'd like the thumb pic of the model to be large enough to see if I may like them or not. I don't really care how it's cropped, just big enough to be seen clearly.

I noticed you gave this site a lot higher score than Anilos. I'm just curious what you may think as being the higher points in comparison. I know that it's basically complete opposites when the comparison of age comes to play, but is there something completely holding back Anilos when comparing the two. You are right about the voting, I wish I had more space in review to go in to more detail about this but your reply sums up the cons of this precisly. Sweet, the members feel like they are interacting by voting for their favorite scenes to be updating in that order but sometimes a model strikes a viewer a certain way, why not let them enjoy that model even if it is a 'not for the masses' model and did'nt get the votes? Limiting this can be quite troublesome. However, I do think you are right in saying this was more with the older content. I think with the new stuff they have all the content shot (usually up to 3+ scenes) already and the voting is just the order it will be updated rather than if they will get updated or not at all like the older times? I'm not entirely sure how it is totally done exactly.
Also, to add to the updates, how are they figuring out which sets and videos to reformat if anyone knows? Do they vote for this too?
I wish other sites just gave off the vibe that the creators produce at ALS. I think due to this, this is why the sets and videos are so well (yes, I do think they use the best equipment and compression as well). Hopefully, in my laundry list of sites to join I can find this but ALS definitly sold me enough to join ALS Angels for sure :)
