Yeah I know Cap'n, I was just trying to get an answer from a webmaster as to why they think its ok to display one price and then charge another. I don't mind paying 30 bucks for a decent site but what really pisses me off is when the site says "join here for $24.31" then when you go to join the price suddenly changes to $29. Maybe they are just assuming the average porn consumer is not capable of working out the exchange rate and figure out that they are being conned. In my mind its deception...no other word for it. Only problem now is when i look down my wish list of bookmarked sites i want to join and then discount all those i refuse to join because of regional pricing i realise that i'm actually running out of sites to join now..i spent 4 to 5 hours looking for something to join last night and came up blank.

I see your point. I don't check their ratings usually either. It's not that I don't trust them but I like a member written review more as they are always there to reply to comments etc.
It's just the hard facts that I always check at TPB.

Yep! You know what really hurts? I only have a couple of favorite models and one of them is Faye Reagan. Guess who had a picture set in enticing lingerie in today's update (May 11)! And it is once again making her skin look plastic and was once again NOT downloaded by me. Sigh!

Looking through the last two months, it leans towards casual: Summer dresses, jeans & t-shirts, sweaters & miniskirts - but also some evening dresses, business suits. It's all quite nice stuff too; not tacky or gaudy. The kind of clothes that girls actually wear.
The sets that don't start fully dressed, have various lingerie and nylons. A couple of sets I liked include one doing housework, starting in a loose white top and panties... that very predictably got wet; another starting with just a sweater and fishnets; the latter getting torn to shreds. All good stuff in my book.

I tried to edit my response but too much time had lapsed. I retract part of my reply above because I just came back from a quick tour and noticed that the last hardcore update was on the 12th of April, so one hc update in 12 days wouldn't be too bad and I could indeed handle this by using the Captain's filtering method! So, forget anything I wrote re. increased daily updates. :-)

I can understand both sides. On the one hand we have the web owners/ masters who feel they have to diversify because they are being bombarded daily by hardcore lovers for more of their favorite material, while those of us who would have liked to subscribe to a mature site that is reasonably softcore are suffering from a lack of choice.
I don't mind "pink," or insertions or even g/g material, even though some purists would not consider that softcore but something in between, so it is not pure softcore that attracts me but the absence of the male of the species. And any update containing b/g is regrettably always a wasted one for me.
This is no reflection on the other Captain's site. As I stated above, I can understand that economics play a part in what's being offered in Anilos, I just wish he'd build one for us that leaves out the men!
And, if we, as per his suggestion, screened out all hardcore content it would just make it glaringly obvious that there are not too many daily updates that would appeal to the softcore lover, unless he did an "All Over 30" with five or more updates a day.
These are just musings of a frustrated man, the other Captain! I still think you have a fine site and will be back eventually once the softcore has built up again to make it worth my while to subscribe. If you put some of the ladies into some exotic, erotic lingerie it would definitely hasten my return! :-)

That banner has not changed, it has always said that. Also our stance on content has not changed. We offer solo sets and an additional man woman video and picture set if the woman does that. However we are working on some more filtering options to hide the hardcore for those who do not want to see it.

As for photosets - we have images for all of the videos, as I understand you mean the images in higher resolution. There were only 6-7 videos with the stills from the videos, all other episodes have HQ pictures, so it should be a regular feature.
As for zips - we're working on the new members area script which will include the features like search, custom zipping etc. But it takes time.
Our content guy told me he plans to add the zips for the current sets at TU at the end of this week.

Almost two months later: I still keep looking in and still see no changes. Still a bunch of cute teenies in every day outfits .. but as I wrote earlier that appears to be what most subscribers want, so I won't hold my breath, or blame the site, as I wait for something that would appeal to a more mature taste.

There are photosets, but they're nothing special IMHO. You can't see much emotions from them, and quality is mediocre (500px larger side), though they IMHO do not look as a screencaps.

I understand what you mean. The first porn film I saw was probably an 8mm or 16mm stag film. The print was crappy and there was no sound but it was still penetration porn. Then of course the first nude magazines I saw where old Playboys from the 60's. In many ways this is what this site reminds me most. Like I said it's a nice reposotory of historical cinema and print images but I don't think people want to pay 25$ for that kind of content.

I'd agree with you too, sometimes there can be a bit too much close stuff in Sean Rs work – a bit on gynaecology side for sure, but this is offset with a good range of shots, hence I like big sets.
A criticism I had of his work was he never (or rarely) focused on the bottom, that is just showing lovely curvy cheeks (where the model possessed them!) instead overdoing the spread shots, and where there was nice shots there was never enough in the series, something you’d probably favour!
Solo photography is by far the only niche I’m interested in, and I feel it’s probably the most challenging for a photographer; it must be hard or impossible to repeat the same poses, then again it is pornography after all, and this is where Sean R wins for me as some of the angles are excellent and it is essentially hardcore solo – I think anyway.
On the subject of looks, well I guess he can only shoot models that apply and given society’s attitude to body hair I’m glad there are still some out there willing to pose – so I’m glad they’re about – though there is the odd one that has the old slapper look :)

I hear what you're saying but maybe it's me I like long sets with a good number of pictures within a particular series (e.g. full body shots standing or lying), as in slide show this has a nicer flow to it, rather than a sudden change where for example the model has changed pose drastically.
On another note I only look seriously at a few photographers, and some like R Williams who's work is excellent but with sets around 80 images and less there isn't the time to ogle the sets slowly as sometimes (actually mostly) you see too much on the first page - I like this to be a bit slower - personal preference fair enough.
As to bulking out I can't say if this is the aim as I don't go through all the contributors, for a start there isn't the time!
Sean R sets are the main reason I enjoy N&H for the reasons stated above, anything else hasn't come close IMHO - if you look at the voting on the site the vast number of models voted are by him.
Each to their own but sets around 100 pictures are way too short in my view - no pun intended!

No way the big sets are brilliant, I wonldn't want to see them been trimmed (I refer to Sean Rs work) best on the site - the site needs to add custom downloads for users to select their range of pics, but reduced choice is not the way to go!
Without Sean R the site wouldn't be so good, his stuff is crystal clear, and I think the 3000x2000 is a vast improvement, in slide show thay work perfectly well and in close the clarity is amazing.

Interesting point of view Cap'n. It sounds like you're probably more of a connaisseur than me when it comes to this type of thing! I am working on it though :-) I can appreciate what you're saying to a certain extent though -over at Rigin-Studio at the mo (and elsewhere previously) I'm finding some of the photos towards the beginnings of some sets (where the models are clothed/partially clothed) more erotic/a turn-on than the later ones when the clothes have come off!
