I haven't subscribed yet but 10kB/s sound inexcusably slow when you can get 10MB/s from some major sites located in Europe. I guess it's not a commong practice among these companies to rent a mirror server on the other side of the Atlantic?

At 10 Kb/s, a single high quality video clip could easily take 10 to 15 hours to download. Are you sure the download speed is that slow? When I had dialup, my download speed was usually between 1 and 4 Kb/s, but that was dialup. I could never go back to those speeds if I wanted to download photosets or video clips. It would drive me crazy.

When I was a member I found speeds were very very slow. They were down 1kb/s on one occasion, but your speed of 10kb/s I found to be quite common in the afternoon, here in the UK. That was 2 years ago. It eas the slowest site I ever experienced. I have never rejoined.
