I just rejoined this site and it appears that the issue is that the links time out very quickly. I didn't have any problem with downloads failing but I couldn't queue up scenes in my download manager like I used to be able to here and still do with most sites. It means more work to get the scenes you want and it is annoying but it's still some great porn for those of us who like hardcore with a harder edge.

Confirming Clownpuncher's experience. Signed on for a year. After 1 hour (9 scenes) I was throttled over 90%! Eventually I get a "file not found" message, and the download terminates. I attempted a variety of scenes, downloaded to different locations on my end. Confirmed my overall bandwidth with a speed test, and switched to other websites without incident.
A few more hours like this and I'm contacting Epoch & my financial institution. What an incredible ripoff!

I hope this a temporary problem. I've been a member here several times (and at a sister site, The Ass Factory) and I never experienced any problems at all. My plan has always been to rejoin again so if you find this gets resolved please post an update.
And welcome to PornUsers. I think you'll find this a great site for swapping information with people who share your interests.

As a member back when this review was written, I agree with the review and with the "good ole standby" bottom line; accurate at that time.
But the drastic changes made and currently being made to the site is quickly turning Twistys from a refreshingly different site to just another hardcore slam bam thank you ma'm site where the format and new content is virtually indistinguishable from many (most?) other straight hardcore sites.
Right now the only reason to sign up on Twistys is for its huge archive of excellent content and drain off the good stuff before the new owners decide to delete it forever.

Sadly the site is headed for major changes, toward a b/g site. This is evidenced by how they just screwed over the real Treat of the Year runnerup in order to name a model who does b/g who only came in 5th place as the runnerup.
The guy who ran Twistys for the slimeball parent company was forced out because he had too much integrity to play ball with this sham. He let it be know that his bosses wanted to turn Twistys into something more of a cheap Brazzers clone, which would no longer be Twistys as you've reviewed.
