Yes there's no problem with the members area - other than having to download a DVD in 10 pieces and only being allowed 1 connection per time for the high res movies.
Don't know what up with the smaples .... ! ?

I don't know if it's more sites or I'm just paying better attention but there are many sites that don't date their stuff. The weird thing is that some of these are amazing sites, but with bad method for updating their content. Of course there are a many more that are crappier.

And Seventeen has always been an European company, and they had never used US models (originally used Dutch, now East European - what's the big difference?) Or you mean that Dutch models did know English well, and East European don't? - that I can confirm, and that is indeed a problem in Seventeen chatroom, but IMHO not the biggest problem there.

I agree - the 100% ratings, even something in the high 90's, raises my suspicions. But... umm... what's with the "proper" ISP's? As it happens, I only have one choice for broadband where I live (which is a bit of a sad story I won't get into here) and I refuse to use their email client because it's not as user-friendly as Yahoo. Should that choice really make me ineligible to rate porn sites in a fine forum such as this?

OneMan - we're simply trying to be the Wal-Mart of porn, low cost memberships with high volume still results in a good profit each month. We've found that the $30-40 memberships many sites offer are too expensive for most people to pay monthly.
In contrast, our goal is to build up a large recurring database of members at a lower cost point. At $1.23/month I'm sure you'll see that there is absolutely no reason to cancel your membership to these sites :)

In the small print at the bottom you have to uncheck a thing that says that you agree to subscribe to Porn Movie Vault for a day for a dollar recurring at 39.95 per month. It looks like they're trying to sucker people in and hope that they don't notice.

Just joined the site for a 3 day trial - the price of 2 beers....as I suspected....no real HiDef at all.
Only around 10% of the Vids are in 2000kbps - not bad, but far poorer than your proper 720p such as Brooke Sky.
The other 90%, although they are advertised as HiDef on the previews, they are not.
They are very mediocre quality - same as the samples.
Also, Most are in multiple parts - and they are not titled - you gotta do it manually for every part.
Nice girls though and good photo quality. Shame about the gross mis-representation !

Agreed, the video quality is very inconsistent. I also get some jerky videos, but this is probably a result of DEINTERLACING. They probably don't have much time to do a good job so they put it through your basic bobber or worse, rely on their windows media encoding software to do the job for them.
All videos have a "soft" feel to them, a result of using WMV... though some HD sites look great in WMV (InFocus Girls for example).
The problem is that each DVD has different interlacing; PAL, NTSC, totally interlaced, etc.
The interlacing, if done inadequately, can lead to soft image, jerkiness, etc.
You get a lot of porn for your money, but i'm going to pass for next month. For that price, everybody should at least try it.

This is VERY strange, and I'm guessing it's a video codec issue or something technical.
I use Videobox myself quite often and all the videos are high quality and play great!! The DVD res vids (2-3k bit-rate) sometimes take a few seconds to start playing (windows media player freezes) since they're so large, but when they do play the quality is AWESOME!
I hope you find the issue. I'll try to also get someone from Videobox to check your comment and maybe they can explain some of the facts you brought up.
