I'm a bit late in responding to your comment but just want you to know I agree with you, now that I have re-subscribed to this site. The promise of HD Videos made me do it! There have not been too many downloads of picture sets on my part because many of the models are indeed not very attractive.

Thanks GCode, I was a member of this site only recently so my biggest and only question was: how is the video quality now? I know I was very disappointed at the time of my subscription and after a while only downloaded the interviews in order to get to know the models a bit better. I'd be back in a flash if they would upgrade their videos to "Anilos" quality. Everything else I held forth on above was just idle chitchat! :-)

Nice and thorough review, GCode. Thanks for the information regarding the video quality. Reading between the lines I guess they're not quite up to "Anilos" standards yet.
If I may be allowed one observation, though, when it comes to the attractiveness (or lack thereof) of some of the models. I used to belong to a binaries usenet group before spam took over and invariably someone would speak up in connection with a posting and say,(not to me): "Can't you post anything better than these pictures of old frumps", while another would say about the same model: "Hey, thanks, for posting sets of this woman, she's been a favorite of mine for a long time!" I don't think a site can be judged by the attractiveness of its models when tastes are so dramatically different.
Just a casual observation accompanied by a mea culpa because I did the same thing. You may have noticed that I gave the site a slightly lower score than you, and in my case it was because of the terrible quality of the picture sets some of the photographers put out.
Imagine my surprise when one of my most despised photographers turned out to be someone else's highly praised favorite! :-)

Don't I wish that the webmaster of that site would look in and decide to do something about the definition of his videos. There's wmv and then there is wmv. On some sites it's almost HD quality but on AllOver30 the videos are usually a bit too blurry and washed out for me. I love that site and would like nothing better than to see it improve in that ONE area!

So the crappiness of the Simpson Twins site (low video quality, old content added as new etc.) applies to the whole network - can't say I'm surprised. Usually one would be annoyed if one paid full price for access to just one site in a network, when you could have gotten the whole network for the same price by joining through another site, but in this case it doesn't sound like there's much to get in the rest of the network.

Thanks for this update. This site interested me and you've saved me some money and frustration. A couple of years ago I had memberships to both Little April and Little Summer. These are both attractive young women but the video quality was horrendous. It sounds like nothing has improved in the past couple of years. If you were able to download the entire content so quickly that tells me there is nothing new here, and the quality is still poor.

I'm not sure if you're still looking for an answer but i just got around to testing this today. The story is still the same. The WMV and MP4 files will play but they're not smooth. The AVI files will not play at all. Since most of the videos are still AVI files (and even some of the newer posts are AVI), don't expect to stream them to your PS3.
P.S. I'm running firmware 3.15 on my PS3.

The content on both ALS sites has a little of everything except boy/girl. There are no boy/girl sets on either site. The majority of the videos are solo masturbation, these can be fingers, dildos, wand vibrators. There is a little girl/girl, ALS Scan has more girl/girl than ALS Angels. Both sites have "photoshoot" videos. These are generally not very popular unless you like watching a video of a model posing. They do label those clearly in case you don't want to waste your time with those. They also have fisting. The fisting can be self-fisting or assisted fisting. I'm not a big fan of fisting, but the assisted ones are very good. They bring in one of their tiny ALS Scan models to fist the model from ALS Angels. There is an Eve Angel being fisted by Nadia Taylor that is one of the most believable and erotic videos I've seen. Eve smiles while being fisted and says, "You are very good". That's a big deal since Eve rarely speaks, and even rarer to hear her talking in English. She has 3 years of daily videos on Eveangel.com and never said a word in any of them.
Comparing them to the super sites like Xisty, Teen Dreams, In Focus, Twistys. I don't think the sites are that similar. Those sites seem to be more polished/planned out. ALS will give you a little more of a natural real feel. The thing that pushes ALS ahead of most sites is that they treat models with a ton of respect and don't badger them with stupid questions. ALS will say things like, "Hi Eve, glad to have you back. You look gorgeous as usual" and it is like magic. The girls start smiling more and act more natural.
One other part on their videos, they do have some speculum/gyno object videos. I don't mind these.
The big complaint I have is that ALS Angels should be merged with ALS Scan. An example, ALS Angels has 6 video updates in June. ALS Scan has 31. ALS Scan also has four 1byday bonus videos. They could realistically squeeze those ALS Angels videos in the place of the 1byday videos. Don't let this complaint push you away though. As a new 1st time member, ALS Angels has nearly 300 videos in their archive so the lack of new updates isn't that big of a deal to a new member.
Some of the models. They have Eve Angel, Sandra Shine, Regina Ice, Sandy Waltrick/Summers, Andie Valentino, just to name a few of my favorites and they have 6-12 sets of each. One other con, many of the older picture sets are separated into parts. This is very "old" style for a website. This means to get say Eve in Blue Bikini, you have to download 4 files, 1st file will be pic #1-#15, second file #16-30 and so on. You just get the feeling they treat Angels like a second rate citizen when compared to ALS Scan. I've tried to convince Alex (the owner/webmaster) to merge but he won't. Last tip, not to cheat on TBP, but you can get a discount for both of their sites at paysitediscountdotcom, $5 off. And they usually will send you emails with discounted rates. Sometimes even $10 off. Hope that helps.

Yes, great review! I am glad you are enjoying the site, hopefully based on some of my responses to your inquiries a few weeks back. :) I usually hate proselytizing, but I make a serious exception for ALS (okay, and most porn, but I prioritize my preaching for ALS!).
One of your cons mentioned one of my peeves -- voting. Goddamnit, a porn site should not be a democracy! It needs to be run by a qualified perverted tyrant who will just go ahead and release everything, and in order. But seriously, I remember some models, even ones from the last few years, with very little content due simply to not having the votes. I don't want to sound like Norm Coleman, but can we have recount? Just so we can see their material, please?
They do have some of the best photography and videography out there, at least in terms of using good equipment and proper setup, and then choosing models that will not require excessive Photoshopping. I wish other sites would take a hint, and try making their photography and models look a little more real, but they'll probably never learn.

Well, as far as extreme spreading goes, it really depends on the model, but yes, generally they do it with fingers, not just toys and "devices". I would say about 90 to 95% of models use a speculum, and a few just choose not to, but the vast majority of them do use it in at least one scene. They all use toys (who doesn't?) and fingers, though I would say toys and other insertables get the maximum effect for the "quick pullout" shots they like to get, that is, where they get a temporary gape. :) And they love fisting, though that seemed to be tapering off slightly when I was last a member (December '08), but there is still plenty of it there.
As far as ALS Scan vs ALS Angels goes, yes, it is pretty much petite (regular ALS) vs thick and busty (Angels), but it is a subtle difference unless you are into breasts. Older models -- say, from 1990s through early 2000s -- with big breasts (C and up) are on ALS, but after that, they are primarily all on Angels. A few of these Angels girls made it to the regular site for some girl-girl shoots and an occasional Caribbean trip -- like Carli did for their 2007 Caribbean trip -- but they stay mostly on ALS Angels.
If you haven't been a member of either, and big breasts, or lack thereof, aren't a big deal, then I would recommend ALS Scan first. Yes, it is five dollars more, but there is so much more content there, due to archiving that goes way back, plus most of their content goes there, so they have more regular updates.
I hope this helps, but I haven't been a member in seventh months :( so maybe starting a comment and asking for a second opinion would give you a better idea, as I am sure some of our regulars are current members.

Both TS/guy usually both cum in scenes in ones plowed through so far. Sometimes jerking while receiving, sometimes the postgame jerk to finish, esp if condom used.
Settings in many cases are minimalist. Black backdrop, some props. Some scenes look like they were from possibly video for DVD distro and have better background, like a bedroom or living room of apartment. How clean the video looks is somewhat mixed bag for older videos. Depends how well it was originally shot as there were some w/ off flesh tones, but for the most part good quality, even go as far as to say almost dvd quality, though color not as vibrant w/ lower bitrate.
Other info...
It's Andrea Nobili stuff, so if you're familiar w/ some of the Italian She Male line or some other glam Italian shemale vids, probably seen his stuff. Start off by saying if watching the guy get plowed is a complete turnoff in shemale porn, probaby want to avoid the site as it prides itself on featuring active shemales.
Model index should be available on the site, though not all models on the page have a video upped yet.
Videos can stream online in flash at 800,400 & 200kbps, or DL in SD mp4 or ipod (mp4 I think)
Photos available for some, but not all videos.
Backdrop of some videos are very minimal, some outfits will be seen couple times over. Not a huge deal for me considering online porn is budget porn...can moan too much about that.

Misunderstanding, GCode! :-) I loved the interviews on Anilos and All Over 30 and always downloaded them. I was talking about DVD sites and the majority of scenes on DVDs where the girl sits on a sofa or bed, giving her name and age and what she expects to be doing that day and then, presto, out of the blue appear two naked males fully erect taking up position on either side of her and away they go! Or one male, or the photographer .. in any case, no transition. It's got to have something to do with the impatience of a new generation of porn users who like to get to the action as quickly as possible.

The disturbing thing when it comes to "more is better" is that a lot of subscribers must agree with them or they wouldn't continue to do it. It would be interesting to see the subscriber numbers of sites that originally didn't show toy use or hardcore but then gave in to the pressure to introduce both.
It's the same with DVDs and the sudden transition in most scenes from a very short interview with a model to full fledged action. It's boring, it's jarring to see someone talking one moment and then have some naked stunt cocks by their side five seconds later, but that must be what the public wants or they wouldn't keep doing it.

No, she didn't have a cam. I subscribed to her site through Southern Charms and many of the models had the same set up. Pictures only but videos could be had for a price. Would you believe I never had a single video of her. On her site it was pictures only. You could buy her videos but I never did. So, to see a video of Camilla will be a treat. Let's see now, as I see it, mature means forty and over. This is subjective, of course, because, as I keep reminding myself, when I was twenty, thirty was almost ancient. :-) Next the small imperfections that show up once a woman truly matures, a few additional spots (or freckles as you call them), breasts that are starting on their downward journey, not those artificial cones that jut out from the rib cage of so many. A few lines in the face to give it character, a touch of silver in the hair? A mature woman can have all those things and yet be breathtakingly beautiful.
