This site is a relatively new addition to the Fame family and if you’re familiar with their premium sites then this one looks a lot like the others. That’s not a bad thing; all the premium Fame sites have a straightforward approach to sorting and accessing the DVDs and scenes. Other sites could learn from their practical approach. The site is laid out well: you can choose to sort by scenes, DVDs or by series name. You can search by star and niche too. Finding what you like here is certainly no problem. The site features titles from the Reality Junkies / Mile High studio. All the Reality Junkies series’ listed on IAFD are represented on this site. There’s a good mix too, meaning that most people could find material they would like. Legal teens and cougars are both well represented. Series’ like Babysitter Diaries, Cougar’s Prey, Couples Seeking Teens, and Pornstar Athletics are all represented here. It seems that just about the only niche that is under-served is anal. For many, that might be a good thing, but for an anal fan it is a bit disappointing. The Reality Junkies studio is relatively new so you won’t find any ‘classics’ here. Also, since they haven’t been around very long that will indicate the models you’re likely to see. Many of my current favourite models make appearances here. Like other Fame sites there are a variety of options for seeing the videos. Streaming and downloading is available and both offer various options. Streaming is available in three resolutions from 240p to 540p. Downloads are available in two formats, WMV and MP4. The WMVs are available in 240p or 480p. I downloaded the 480p videos and they come in at 720x400 at 2200kb/s. They use codec 8 and the videos play at 30fps. I don’t pretend to understand the technical bits of videos, but even though these numbers are lower than on other sites the scenes look great. The MP4s are available in five resolutions from 240p to 1080p. I’d prefer to download the HD stuff, but I hate the players that play MP4s. To further add to your choices, there are five resolutions available for mobile devices, also up to 1080p. There aren’t many other sites that offer such a wide variety of options. Pictures are available, but since this is a DVD site I didn’t download any. They’re decent quality at 1280x763 and there can be a lot of them per scene, but the deal-breaker on photos is that there doesn’t appear to be any zips. There are frequently hundreds of photos per scene so if you want all the photos be prepared to work for them. This is a really odd oversight for a site that gets everything else so right. There are some negatives to the site too, but each member will weigh these as they choose. By far the most serious negative to the site (for now, anyway) is the size of the site. Currently there are only 41 DVDs on the site. Updates are added, but there doesn’t appear to be a schedule for updates as they can occur every couple of days but sometimes there looks to be as much as five days between updates. I can’t say this for sure, but I assume that the updates add a scene like the other premium Fame sites and not a full DVD. Offsetting the small size is the TBP discounted price of $9.95. One caveat with that is you’ll want to remember to cancel your membership before the end of the month as it looks like it rebills at $30. Other minor negatives are that unlike most of the other Fame premium sites this one isn’t bundled with any other sites. That certainly isn’t fatal but it would be a better value if this membership gave you access to other Fame sites. The final negative, which is also in common with other Fame sites is that if you’re using a download manager you’ll find that the links time-out after about 10 minutes. Obviously any prospective member will have to decide if the value is here given the newness and size of the site, but for me the (current) lack of quantity is more than offset by the quality of the site and what it offers. The DVDs themselves have high production values with current A-list stars, and the site offers them to members through a simple and effective interface and high download speeds. To further add to the value, I’m not aware that this studio offers these videos on other sites. What I didn’t like most about that limit was how vague and even arbitrary it seemed. The limit is still there, and it’s still vague, but I didn’t hit the limit often despite downloading a lot (I’ll explain that) and the network does offer some excellent porn. The site is logically laid out with the main page showing all of the network updates available. There is a tab that brings you to a page with links to the specific sites. Each site has its own page that looks like the home page. There is a useful search function in that you can enter a term and a drop-down menu appears with some suggestions that you may be looking for. The network offers a really good mix of models and niches. There is also a good mix of models with some big names and some lesser-knowns. The biggest difference for me this time was that I only downloaded HD scenes. I’m a big fan of party sites and these were well done. (In the VIP still updates, but the dead sites offered some twists.) I’m particularly disappointed that Captain Stabbin is no longer active. With this site no longer updating, RK is in an odd position of no longer having an anal-themed site on its network. The network started adding the HD option in September 2010 so if you insist on HD you’ll still have access to almost 700 scenes. Keep in mind that the advantage to the HD scenes apart from quality is that you can download more before hitting the daily limit. One drawback is that that many of the files are large, coming in at more than 2GB. The site supports download managers and I had no obvious problems with time-outs. While RK isn’t the only site on the internet to impose a daily download limit, they are unique in having one that seems vague and random at the same time. The limit is imposed differently if you are downloading HD or SD videos. If you opt for HD files, as I did, the limit was very reasonable, but since it was also higher than what is set out in the site’s terms and conditions document that may not always be the case. The site’s terms state that a member may “download up to 10 gigabytes of data each day, and additionally up to 15 ‘big’ movies as defined in Manwin Billing's sole discretion.” The last time I was a member here I downloaded SD files and would be cut off at 8 to 10GB per day. This time I took only HD files and could usually get 30 or more files (at an average of 1GB each) before I was off. So while there is a limit, if this is how it’s being used then it isn’t too big an issue. The last time I reviewed RK I scored it much lower and that was solely because of the download limit and my perception that I should avoid HD because of that limit. This time around I took only HD and the limit for those is almost reasonable. This is a huge network with a lot of great porn that is easily accessed. Apart from my general opposition to limits and my subjective wish that three of the sites were still active I can still recommend RK as long as a prospective member knows what to expect. It’s not a bad network, but it isn’t the world’s best. The network is made up of 39 themed sites. The usual porn themes are here, like big breasts, MILFs, and 18-year-old ladies, but there are also some fairly unique sites too. There are three sites that cater to scenes with multiple models in party settings (VIP Crew, In the VIP and Bikini Crashers). These are among my favourites but I can understand why others may not be interested in them. The sites vary in size, with the more mainstream sites having lots of material (some have over 500 scenes) and some of the niche sites have only a handful of scenes. Each site opens into a separate page that list the scenes with a large thumbnail for each. On the left of that page is a column of filters for sub-themes. The scenes usually have a unique name and the main star is also listed. Opening the page for each scene brings more details and tags. You can access screencaps and pictures (which I didn’t download so I can’t comment on them) and you can access the video in any of several ways. Streaming is available, as are downloads. Downloads are offered in a few different ways, usually as a WMV and MP4. MP4 is available in larger sizes and smaller sizes for handheld devices. For some reason, even the newer scenes are frequently broken down into shorter clips for easier download, though the full scene is also available. HD video is available on some scenes, though I didn’t download any because of the daily limit. RK has been around for a long time so the quality of their videos has obviously changed. Older videos are low quality, but I can’t fault the site for that because that was the standard back when they were shot. Most of the older scenes are only available in three or four clips, which also made sense back when they were uploaded. It would be nice if the site took the time to stitch them together into one full file now that most people have high-speed internet connections. The newer scenes (in WMV) still aren’t great quality: 640x480 @ 1600kb/s and 768x432 @ 1600 are common. Subjectively they aren’t bad, but they aren’t great either. Objectively, the site is decent, but not any better than many other networks. RK isn’t any better (or any worse) than places like Mofos and Porn Pros. In terms of quality they certainly can’t be compared to sites like ALS Scan and Diesel Access. Subjectively the network isn’t all that impressive. I’ll admit that a lot of that is personal taste because I’m not into large breasts and huge asses. Those attributes are better represented than most others. There are sites that cater to my tastes in smaller models between 18 and 22, and I will admit I like the number of relatively unknown models who appear here. One serious and unforgivable sin, and I realize that this is entirely subjective, is that one scene was mis-labeled. No big deal normally, but I joined the network specifically to see one scene: a Tanner Mayes scene that was categorized as anal. The limit is described in the membership contract using vague language so I emailed the support staff to ask for some clarification but never received a reply. Why bother having a ‘contact us’ button if you’re not actually going to respond to member’s questions? On several days I was cut off from downloading at less than the 10GB 24-hour limit. On other days I downloaded well in excess of the limit. There are PU members who report never having had a limit imposed on them. A site can certainly impose whatever conditions they want, but those conditions should be clear and applied equally to all members. And in 2011 10GB limit is absurdly low. Another annoying choice that RK made is to not support download managers. I use Free Download Manager to queue up scenes that I want to download so I don’t have to sit at the computer for an hour or more, but FDM wouldn’t work with this site. I can’t say how it works with other managers, but if they bar one I’d guess they bar them all. I’d recommend this site for someone who really wants a particular scene or is really into a specific niche that is represented here. But… anyone who does join should be aware that they MAY have a download limit imposed on them and that download managers don’t work. A regional brewery near here used to have a tag line: “Those who like it, like it a lot.” The same might be said of this extreme anal play. Obviously the options and resolutions improved as the site kept up with evolving industry standards. The newer MP4s come in at 1920x1080, 3000kb/s and 29fps. That seems like a low bitrate, but the scenes look crisp. The other most common resolution for older, non-HD scenes is 960x540, 2500kb/s. These look fine on a 24” monitor. Photos are also offered, with most of the sets being taken as part of the video shoots. Resolutions vary here too, but most are decent at 1225x816. Photos are updated with a new set being added once every ten days or so. The site layout is relatively simple, and that’s not a bad thing. If you’re familiar with how Hustler looks, it is pretty much the same as that. I can’t find any link between Hustler and this site, but they look a lot alike. While there is no search function there are tags that help sort some things out. The site commits one sin that is too common these days. The biggest caveat to anyone considering a membership is to make sure you have an interest in this niche. If your porn experience is glamcore then this isn’t the site to dabble in something new. Photos are also offered and it was no surprise to me that they are high quality too. They are 3000x2000 and available as zips or singles. If we had a standing discount the value of the membership would be greatly improved and I wouldn’t hesitate to score it in the low 90s. The bottom line? Both streaming and downloads are available in 480p, 720p, 1080p and downloads are also available in 4K resolution. I downloaded the 1080p files and the bitrate is 7000kb/s. I estimate that between 60 and 70 percent of the scenes are exclusive and produced by the site with the remaining scenes being licenced material from mainstream porn that features scenes that fit the site’s theme. The scenes have a large thumbnail and a brief description (which adds a lot of value). I won’t list this as a pro or a con as it is purely subjective for me but there seems to be a lot of models here with large breasts – real and augmented. Obviously that will be a good thing for many people. But even though I tend to prefer young and petite models there was plenty here for me to like. A lot of the models are tattooed too so you should do a deep dive in the tour pages if that isn’t your thing. One other item of note that may be a turn off for some is that there are more condoms here than I’ve seen on most other sites. There is a long list of tags ranging from the expected to the obscure. These tags, coupled with the search function make finding scenes that tickle your fancy easy. I had no issues using a download manager to download the scenes. I found the download speeds to be fast and on par with the best out there. I downloaded a lot at first to see if there was a download limit and I didn’t hit one. The site also offers both photos and screencaps. The site bills through Epoch so you can join knowing your information is secure and you can cancel easily. The only real negative I can point to is that the site doesn’t offer a TBP/PU discount.
