A lot of content: The standard, non exclusive hard-core stuff that you find on videobox, just slightly less videos in archive and slightly less added each day.
Advanced Search Options: they have some more advanced search options that videobox doesn't have
Trial: The trial is a full trial according to others: sign up for this instead of the full membership. |

Reliability: download speed varies a lot, mostly depending on what server the video is on: sometimes downloads stop; server non-corresponding.
Speed: I personally got low speeds at most times, both with download accelarator and without.
Customer Service: No reply from customer service at all, 3 mails sent, I added the msn messenger contacts they list, but they never ere online. The webmaster, the guy on here called "PornstarXS" tried to help me at first; replied to my comment here and then replied to my mail, but then he stopped.
Content: I haven't found much stuff that I haven't seen on videobox before.
Cost: Expensive |

If you have unexclusive content like Pornstar XS you can't survive with such major technical issues and non existing customer service.
Pornstar XS is just like Videobox but less content, slower, more unreliable and more expensive.
I honestly can't understand why they still exists. |

I really like this site. I usually only join sites for one month and then spend the next month sorting through what I have dowmloaded, but I will definitely come back to this site later. It is a good alternative to Video Box if you want to switch up and try something new.
It is a little pricey but I felt I definitely got my moneys worth on this one. I enjoyed it more and more as the month went on. |

At $14.95/month, PSXS is definitely a bargain. WMV video can be had at the size of 720x540, which fills up a screen nicely. You also have the option of downloading mpegs (512x 384). They have portable downloads as well. There is no DRM protection at this site. I don't consider that much of a + though, that should be the norm. Older videos here are smaller and broken up. As for the goods, there is some junk here, bargain basement stuff, not quite as much as Videobox IMO. They have a studio search, with many quality studios represented, you can check it out in the preview. It has Ashley Blue eating out of a peanut butter jar after some pornoville neanderthal joyfully relieves himself into it. Charming. Download speed is good if you don't download multiple files at once. You'll be better off downloading one or two at a time. If you don't have any porn on video, you'll hit the jackpot here. For more discerning collectors, try a quality mail order site. |

Most every major porn star has videos on the site.
Long scenes can be downloaded in a variety of formats; DVD quality format is outstanding.
Great price.
The downloads are pretty quick.

The site isn't quite as large and doesn't have quite the variety that Videobox or even Brainpass happens to have.
I think that the search function could be a bit better. |

This really is an excellent site. It's not quite up to Video Box, but it's growing. There is a lot of content on this site and much of it is available in very high resolution. I think that the variety on Video Box and even Brainpass surpasses this one. But Brainpass is a lot more expensive. This is really an excellent site for the price. |

- Excellent, growing site: Lots of content and 2 new DVDs every day.
- Decent navigation: You can sort by performer name, movie title, or niche. Actress names pop up a picture when you hover over them. Nice touch!
- Actress pages provide a list of aliases. That's very important since many actresses appear under different names. The aliases also work in the search function.
- Price: Very reasonable price for the content.
- Video Quality: They offer super-hi resolution wmv downloads. |

Overall, this is a great site. I am a member of VideoBox and used this before getting VB's DVD-quality downloads. I was really impressed by the quantity and quality (of the new movies). I will probably join this site again in a few months to pick up the added DVDs.
If you are choosing between VB and PXS, I would still go for VB right now. But the competition is getting closer. |

- An impressive amount of content considering that they haven't been around that long.
- One of the better search engines on a DVD site.
- Nice screencaps of each girl in each scene, of her face, not in action.

I've talked about my use of DVD sites, about once every 3 months or so. Videobox is always in that group since their site is so easy to use and there is so much content on it. Now, this site pornstarxs is making a serious run at the legendary videobox.
I'm not really that interested in being able to skip parts of clips like Videobox has, I know it is a nice feature, but I like to click one link and go. This site does have a "movie cutter" so I imagine if you wanted to download in smaller parts you could. These DVD sites to me come down to one thing, it is all about if they have videos of your favorite starlets. Two of my favorites are Nautica Thorn and Eva Angelina, this site has tons of both. The download speeds are great.
Why I think the screencaps of the girls face is important - I sometimes miss videos because the girls use different names. By having the screencap, not in action, but just of the face it makes it easier not to miss any of your favorites. They have some older clips that are downloaded in smaller parts, but not that many that I have found.
If I could change anything about the DVD sites it would be one little change. One click downloading of the entire DVD. I know that another of the newer DVD sites has that feature and just from trying it out, I really like it. Overall, I really like this site and plan to include it in my DVD site rotation from now on. Which means this is a definite recommend. Plenty of DVDs here that I haven't seen before! |

This is a good site, and a rival to videobox, but the search engine could use some work, and I would like to be able to cross reference movies and performers.
If you have a good knowledge of porn stars then you will have no difficulty browsing, personally I prefer to see DVD covers as opposed to trawling through names trying to find a good scene
Well worth signing up to, if only for a 30 day download session, I don't think I will be staying on for a second month though - there isn't enough new content to keep me interested for another month |

I've actually been able to find quite a lot of videos I still haven't seen anywhere else.
And above all: The quality is generally very good - much better than the average in VideoBox.
The download speed is also good and like in VideoBox you can cut the videos as you wish.

Even if the navigation is more logical at VideoBox, I rate this site quite a bite higher. Because the video-quality generally is much better here and then you can live with a little less in amount. And even if there nothing exclusive (like VideoBox, again) the variation in series is better at Pornstar XS
Follow-Up:
Have to downgrade some after being there again.
The dl-speed is not ok
Tend to update with too much anal-stuff
But, ok still have some the the best european-variations |
